CPD RPD Class 227 Pre Academy - March 2022

This is the pre academy video for the Riverside Police Department and the Corona Police Department. Starting in March 2022, the police trainees undergo an intensive 3-week program to prepare them for their destination - San Bernardino County Sheriff's Academy. This video shows the work and dedication shown by the staff and the attendees. Think you can handle? Be prepared.

This "Pre-Academy" training seems like an extremely good idea to see if someone is the right fit even before going to the actual Academy. Looks like excellent training. Nothing can really "prepare" you for real life but training increases your chances of success and survival dramatically! Corona PD looks like a great Agency!

At 9:44, closed fist striking is a tactical error, in the field the hands are not wrapped and gloved, how are you going to operate a weapon platform with injured hands?
