From a citizen on the outside looking in: This has to be the best Sheriff's Department in California, if not, the Nation. Under the leadership of Sheriff Bianco coupled with the God fearing men and women of this agency is what makes it so great. What a privilege it must be to work there. This agency is a beacon of light, that hopefully one day, all Sheriffs and Chiefs will follow.

That’s why we have the second amendment, common people, protect each other and help each other… But these days often the sheriffs arrive and arrest the one protecting their families from bad guys, turning victims into criminals… Happens all the time, smart to never call 911

@@mygolfballsannoy excuse me? They get a ton of support from RivCo residents. They have an awesome sheriff that supports their deputies and they don’t work for a county that does not support them and provides them with resources to do the jobs well.
You on the other hand think law enforcement is trying to kill people when you keep on leaving the good ones out. I admit that there’s bad ones but you keep listening to hatemongering fake news and believe in those lies.
Thank God Chad Bianco was elected sheriff a while back and cleaned house from that last regime.

Riverside police department all the jails and police departments need support to have top quality Camaras working forever in all places 24/7 because the devil don't sleep it's a saying👺 in all rooms and out side restroom also in all usa jails.
What’s the process like to become a detective? That would be my goal.
Not know the law, violate civil rights, Always back up other 👮🏻 no matter what they do.. conspire with other 👮🏻. Lie on reports/affidavits and in court… Detective in no time👍🏿
It's a progression. You'd likely start as a jail deputy, then push to patrol. If you excel in that you can put in for detective eventually. It's a learning process the entire way. Even in the jail you can learn a lot-most inmates are more than willing to talk to you, tell you what got them there, etc. Understanding why some people do what they do is a big part of criminal investigations.
@@katzc23 RSO Starts their deputies straight into patrol, and after a bit on patrol they can join specialized units.
@CallMeAhSirHKP If so, that's a change from the early 2000's. They typically had sworn deputies in the jail alongside correctional deputies (CD's). Of course things could have changed since then. 🤷♂️

Encrypting the radio traffic is not the way to go if RSO wants good PR. Nice little UA-cam-Clips don't really counter that.
Most all 👮🏻 are encrypted now.. Because they do not like transparency and being watched by copwatchers like me.. criminals like not to be watched

I apply for Sherriff in the early 80s, in the chips and Adam 12 era when Police made no money… Now they make 200,000 a year for a various safe job, my current job has 30 times to death rate per year the police do, but we do not cry like little cowards and babies that we are scared of everything
