- Devin is busy at work when the owner of the company, Mrs. Campbell approaches him. Despite doing his best to keep the warehouse in order, she admonishes Devin and demands that he finishes all his tasks before the end of the day. Then, to emphasize the urgency, she berates him then knocks over a bucket filled with dirty water. As Devin is cleaning up her mess, he accidentally slips and falls down causing a serious knee injury. Fortunately for Devin, a good samaritan he meets at the bus stop gives him some solid advice and refers him to an excellent attorney.

I take that, that wasn't a UNION shop. If that woman needed that area to be clean up, she should have offered to help out. I mean it's her business, but she needs to pitch in and do her share of the work, since it's her business. That man could have taken over business and done a better job with labor management issues. No Employee should be subject to Abuse from their Employer.

Mrs Campbell was such a racist hag to Devin, never ever satisfied with his performance. Her impatience over how he executed his work plus kicking the roller pail with water in it caused a serious accident that hurt him at the right knee. Firing Terry was her last mistake, she's overstepped her jurisdiction and never communicated openly with Devin.
I think this racist nonsense is getting out of hand. No respect for nice people. It doesn't matter how you look.

No employer can fire an employee for no reason at all, It's not right or fair.
She was a horrible boss and person. Since he was a manager she could've told him an employee was fired. I was injured where I used to work but wish I knew they would have to cover medical expenses and would be entitled to compensation,however I didn't and the time frame expired before I researched that I could do that and be compensated.
I got hurt on the job my injury was my head. My boss didn’t care it was the shift manager who helped I had a concussion and a wipe lashed neck.

I think he should have been fired because he was wasn't wearing proper shoes for his job. He also portrayed a terrible and lazy worker. He only moved half of the buckets whereas he could have moved them all at one time. He didn't complete one task before moving on to something else. I know it's petty, but it is what it is.
