I did find a little bit of a workaround with the bass and 3rd party instruments if you want to test it out. I generated the midi out to a file and then put that into guitar pro and then exported the guitar pro midi back out to new file and for some reason that new file sounded good with 3rd party basses. You can even clean up the file more in guitar pro and then makes for pretty easy fine tuning later.
First off, THANK YOU! Your courses are amazing! Troubleshooting question for you or the community--Your instructions are crystal clear but it's not working. For example, in the key of Cmaj, I'm trying to create a chord progression but for some reason, all I get are root notes of the key (a progression of Cmaj). I can type in "A min" and press tab but only a C shows and up and I can't click on the different chord type options (it's stuck on major). I'm using a Macbook Pro and trying to left-click with the pointer tool. Thank you!

The other glitch is you can’t use the bass player region with 3rd party instruments like you can with the keyboard player
