I'm going to point out a few flaws with this tutorial, and exp farm 1. You didn't 100% the materials in the beginning, and I had myself taking long pauses to go and get said missing resources. 2. Halfway through the video is when he decides to mention ALLAYS BEING IN THE FARM. this caused me to walk 3000 BLOCKS AWAY to a Pilgrim outpost with the allays which I could have done while exploring for the materials from the very start but nooooo I had to pause everything just to go grab some allays 3. The farm isn't automatic, and takes a constant replenishment of annoying to get potions, because of gunpowder being hard to get early game. 4. He never explains how long you have to wait for the allays to heal back up, and after all my excruciating work, THEY ALL DIED!!! 5. Also his voice even pisses me off In conclusion, please dear God let the people know E V E R Y T H I N G THEY NEED for the farm at the BEGINNING OF THE VIDEO!!! Waste of 4 hours
Honestly i always build farms using JC playz videos.. This was my first time making a farm using someone else's video just because this farm isn't out on JC's channel yet.. And man it was horrible.. 1. Completely agree with the first flaw item list wasn't complete at all. ALSO the worst part was he didn't explain correctly where to place what.. I don't know where he messed up but my allays die every time i run the farm.. I tried interchanging all positions too. Still allay dies.. And it's not that they are despawning.. The silverfish spawns but after that campfire keeps burning and allay dies
The game lags because of too many entities. Adding more entities (tridents) does not help the lag. In your case though, make sure the spawn chunks aren't overloaded with other farms constantly running alongside this farm

I think you can have a sub account on switch so the one game can be played on two consoles? Might only work for the digital download version though. Not the physical card
My redstone clock wasn't getting signal. I had to use a repeater to extend the range of the circuit. Make sure the clock works before you add more allays. I have 4 allays in mine and had to reduce the time on the clock to 2 stacks because too many silverfish were spawning.
What if we want to place a hole some how (like with stairs or slab) to let the xp get out to a water flow stream but without to let the silver fish get out as well?
An easier (but less effective) way would be to use powdered snow to freeze the allays.. as this does only a quarter of the damage compared to a campfire, the allays outheal it completly, no need for a hopperclock ect, you can torture the allays for eternety xD but of course, less dmg means less silverfish
Hi just tested it out and the allays do survive however the silverfish get trapped in the snow aswell and the rate is quite slow compared to the normal one sadly, but good shout! thanks! ❤

I would like to recommend for the trident killer to make killing time faster by adding water and trident with impaling 5 inside the killing chamber. There is the design for that one and it will make killing silverfishes much faster and reducing lag.

I recently built an xp farm that I saw online with a zombie spawner, and that thing spawned like 4 zombies every 2 minutes 💀 took about an hour just to get 15 levels. Thank you for making an ACTUAL xp farm!
By the way do not build it out of stone or cobblestone, I made mine out of cobblestone and it worked for a few days but then all the cobblestone blocks disappeared and most of the farm broke and the allays escaped😭I’m pretty sure the infestation potion turned all the cobblestone infested
for the kelp xp farm, it's far better to use smokers instead of furnaces since theyre faster. the whole farm was getting clogged up with kelp in the hoppers because the furnaces aren't going fast enough.
My question pertains to what happens when I leave the farm and go through another portal perhaps the leaves automatically teleport to you anyway to stop that The only other way I know other than trapping them inside of a hopper with a half so above them is to have them hooked with a lead to a fence post that’s what I’m currently doing right now anyways
Update I put a stone wall directly under the camp fire and put leads on the alley and now my issue is solved .. also to salve the issue of the silver fish that get out I put netherake the outside base of the farm and light it on fire
This was super efficient and i went from level 0 to 44 in about 1 and a half minutes. It was really laggy near the end because minecrcat doesnt run too well on a ps4 but nonetheless this farm is great
I didn't play for 2 weeks, now everytime I play it kills the allays.so to troubleshoot I've free'd the allays, tested if the water splash is working and it is, the fire is put out every time on time. However, as soon as the allays are back inside, its failing to put the fire out. Almost as if the splash is hitting the allays not the fireplace. Any ideas what caused this change, and what could be done to fix it??
You might've explained it in the video, but-- is this permanent? By permanent I mean will the Allay disappear after some time, or if you move away far enough? If they do, is it possible to give them nametags so they don't despawn? Thanks either way!
A few warning for anyone making this farm. 1. He mentions this in the pinned comment but DO NOT USE ANY potential infested blocks to build this farm. The silverfish will enter the blocks and then break them as the others are killed by the tridents. They will all escape and kill you. 2. Make sure to put a wall of blocks around the bottom two blocks of the trident killer, only leaving the lever uncovered. Some will still escape through that block but it drastically cuts down the number of them that do. 3. Do not use more than three allays. If anything goes wrong with more than three, your game will freeze and crash.
I just built this and it worked great when I tried it. I went back to by base through my nether highway and my allays somehow broke out and followed me. I did already name tag them.
@@diegocervera3978 I figured it out. If you have given them something they will teleport to you. If you go inside the farm to where you can see them above the campfire, take the item back so they aren’t holding anything. Works for me now.

Farm works good! Possibly the worst tutorial I’ve ever followed. You shouldn’t cut the video before you show where to place a block. Makes it harder to follow. Looting 3 does not effect xp.
Maybe we can make it better. It will take a some more work but worth it! There's a way to infinitely heal allay so the farm can go infinite..only need splash potions tho In raid event, witches use splash potion of regeneration to heal the pillagers which last for 45 seconds on direct hit. They throw this every 8 seconds INFINITELY. And I think 18 seconds when two blocks away from direct hit. So, with just 1 witch and 1 pillager is enough.
Make sure to use glass blocks in the redstone mechanism where I used it as well, you're problem seems to be with the redstone clock circuit and the redstone to power the dispensers being connected somehow
I have followed the direct instructions and the allays keep dying fortunately in my survival world that is not a problem, however I would like to know if anyone else is having the same or similar problems

This works better than silentwhisperers newest allay xp farm. His is spotty and inconsistent (which is rare for him). Yours is consistent and works flawlessly. Tested both thoroughly. I love yours so much more!
The main concept works. However instead of having the tridents have a dispenser with splash potion of harming (if that doesn’t work then just throw the potions) this will give you the xp

can you make a slime farm with the oozing potion 🙏 you could like connect it to this farm however you may need to significantly adjust the timer or something because when i tried making slime farms with silverfish and the oozing potion the slimes would glitch out no matter how big the chamber was (magma blocks)

Hi, my silverfish seem to break the farm and lags my game really bad after a couple uses. I would notice my signs break and the silverfish would infest the stone I used to build it. Im thinking to use wood but, has anyone had this problem?

Use (bedrock custom super flat generator)man, this way you make single biome and just build youre farm on a plains biome.

Alay recovers stamina quickly as if she has regeneration.

I made a zombie mob spawner farm to get started then made a gold farm once I realized how slow it was. Helped a lot for early game enchants though

I would add a floor of magma blocks and a wall to keep the silver fish that may escape in so they die to the magma.

redstone can only stay placed on pistons in bedrock, there’s more tutorials on youtube for java versions

Yes, but you need to use a lot of splash potions of healing, because if not, the mob will die, so I don’t recommend it

Campfire isn't getting lit, maybe Redstone signal is too fast and its going out? Or maybe it isn't firing the flint dispenser

XP isnt being produced on bedrock edition. Farm was working fine until a few days ago.

Why not use a witch instead of an allay? Witches self-heal
I found allays easier to deal with than witches
Maybe we can make it better.
It will take a some more work but worth it!
There's a way to infinitely heal allay so the farm can go infinite..only need splash potions tho
In raid event, witches use splash potion of regeneration to heal the pillagers which last for 45 seconds on direct hit. They throw this every 8 seconds INFINITELY. And I think 18 seconds when two blocks away from direct hit.
So, with just 1 witch and 1 pillager is enough.
the water dispensers splash the water too fast so my camp fire is instantly getting put out the camp fire too quickly

Make sure to use glass blocks in the redstone mechanism where I used it as well, you're problem seems to be with the redstone clock circuit and the redstone to power the dispensers being connected somehow
Hey, my allays keep dying when I use it, how can I fix that?
I have followed the direct instructions and the allays keep dying fortunately in my survival world that is not a problem, however I would like to know if anyone else is having the same or similar problems
my campfire is killing mine the design isn’t the problem , also while starting up my farm my campfire never lights
please make sure the items are in the correct dispensers

Did they patch? I’m trying it today, did everything step by step correctly, even made a second one. The silverfish keep getting stuck and kill the allays
please try recheck to build it correctly, making sure the dimensions are correct
@@RediscoverRedstone it was a soul fire. i grabbed them quickly and not thinking, never knew they did more damage. i still don’t know why the silverfish were getting stuck but swapping it out fixed it
@@RediscoverRedstone you should also mention not to make this out of stone. the silverfish just ate my farm because i used chiseled stone blocks

This works better than silentwhisperers newest allay xp farm. His is spotty and inconsistent (which is rare for him). Yours is consistent and works flawlessly. Tested both thoroughly. I love yours so much more!
Can you try using water for allay to drowned?

The main concept works. However instead of having the tridents have a dispenser with splash potion of harming (if that doesn’t work then just throw the potions) this will give you the xp
Anybody having problem brewing the splash potion of infestation? I can make regular infestation but when I try to convert them into splash I cant
By chance does anyone know if this would work on java edition? If it does i know wat im doing once i get home from work XD i have a silk touch enchantment waiting to b claimed from the enchanting table and haven't had the xp to get it yet, i was at lvl 25 when i logged off and i need to get to lvl 30 for it
can you make a slime farm with the oozing potion 🙏 you could like connect it to this farm however you may need to significantly adjust the timer or something because when i tried making slime farms with silverfish and the oozing potion the slimes would glitch out no matter how big the chamber was (magma blocks)
The oozing potion only works if the allays die fortunately

2 problems i have, one my Allays keep dying and i think its because of my 2nd problem, 2nd i can't for the life of me get the top observer to face the way intended in the video. please help
Edit: okay i found out the problem, the water bottle dispenser and redstone timer is not working, the bottles aren't gettin shot out after the stacks of items gets to the other hopper thus keeping the campfire on and killing my allays ( i even lowered the amount of items to see if it was just to long but nope) how do i fix this?
I triple checked the redstone, but my splash potions of infestation are not getting triggered. Everything else works fine. Thoughts?

Word to the wise, build the grinder section out of iron blocks. The silverfish will eat their way out of stone blocks.
Hi, my silverfish seem to break the farm and lags my game really bad after a couple uses. I would notice my signs break and the silverfish would infest the stone I used to build it. Im thinking to use wood but, has anyone had this problem?

Check the redstone mechanism again to see if the potion of infestation is ever being splashed on the allays

Try 40 in 5 minutes it’s still insane but he overexaggerated it
I did the clock right and the second repeater is lighting up the bottom two and can’t figure out why all my allays died cause of it
My second observer won’t place right
please change your direction or use temporary blocks to achieve the direction
