Of all the videos on youtube, your video prompted me to actually but a Godin 5th Avenue Kingpin. On this vid, you could actually hear the true tone of this great guitar and your playing was true to heart. Got my Godin sitting right here next to the computer should I feel the need to pick it up and play something!
The is a most beautiful guitar. Just ordered the Kingpin single coil pu. The sound acoustically and plugged in is amazing. Keep at it jassrv your off to a good start.
I strung mine with Martin 13's until I get used to playing the thing. Then I will string it with Martin 12's. Should be pretty nice with the 12's on it.

Congrats buddy, I got one at guitar center waiting for me to pick it up, I fell in love with it too. they are great guitars. GO CANADA LOL They have the best wood in my opinion.

I'm very tempted to buy this guitar becasue I love how it looks but I don't want to be swayed by that alone so I weant to ask you,If you're not a Jaz player,which I'm not,has it got enough body in it to play rock/pop/blues.Myh worry about the Arch tops is that they may lack bottom. Also I just bought a Gretsch Rancher which I looive but the neck is a touch on the thickish side for my hands,I'm looking for an easy guitar to play.A nice thin neck that won't give me hand cramp.What do you think?

Guitar sounds quite passable when amplified, but unbearably tinny when unplugged. Tried it out and immediately put it back again to the store. Sorry, Godin!
I totally agree!!.. it “was” a very quite guitar.. I believe I fell in love with the burst color .. bought it because of that .. and kept it so long I missed my money back return.. I sold it I regretted buying it .. live an learn
