Indeed, my 18 year old. Needs a decent valve amp to really bring it out. No pedals on this and he uses the feedback to good advantage as he gets into Oasis and a lead tone second half. Do you play with overdrive or distortion? If you do, does it have A LOT of feedback?
This mornign I was gonna head to some Pawn Shops and pick up a cheap Ibanez or Jackson for $3-400 TOPS. Then I thought, why not get a MIM strat for a bit more?? Now I'm seeing how amazing this Casino is. Sounds so much like the 330, which Elliott Smith played better than anyone IMO. Anyway, looks like I'm dropping a grand today.

Brilliant as is typical of your demos Alexandre - lots of stylistic variations. I’ve always wondered how much difference there is between the Casinos and 335s as regards to playability. Of course P90s are a different sound than 335 humbuckers, but they shouldn’t affect playability. Now I’m having to start shopping.
I have owned both a Casino and a 335 (with coil split) and the 335 gets less feedback but the sound to me is superior for the general player, that wants the classic 60's tones and the growl they give when you kick up the amp.

honestly I just stood before the same question and went with this. hopefully it‘ll arrive in the mail today. as a wise man before us said: we‘re probably going to end up with both anyways...
