Hey Karl - I hope you know how much pleasure these videos provide to viewers like me. Every time a new one appears, I drop what I’m doing and settle down to watch. Thanks for the entertainment, tech training and mind-opening cool insights. I’m a proud Japhands T-shirt wearer now.
Heard that and ditto, one of the best channels on UA-cam👍. . I truly appreciate having quality inspiring and real content to entertain and educate myself.
Thanks you so so much! It feels amazing to know you are enjoying the videos so much! I appreciate your support!!!
@@coalblack thanks so much man
@Mike much appreciated mike! 👊👊👊
I watch as well, kid is great... teaching old dawgs new (old) tricks 👍...love the 4 into 2dr. Coupe idea
Not only do you have mad skills, but you chose music that you can listen to without wanting to drive a pencil into your ear. Great job.
I can’t believe how fast you move when the musics going. Dudes a freaking super hero.
I could watch this every day
Impeccable craftsmanship
I’m always learning something by watching thanks again
Continuing my education with professor Karl Fisher! I learn somthing or gain a great insite with every video! Thanks!
You really put a lot of thought into what you were doing I really liked it
couple of cool rides coming along...liking the back and forth..
Neat trick with the clecos and tabs welding on the doors. Have to remember that one. I usually weld the doors in place using flat washers. This why the door can be removed. Cool. She moving along nicely.
Thanks tony! I gotta give some of the other types of clecos a try too
Great tip on the welding. Fast and hot
I like the way it's coming together, and i like that you're not trying to fake a genuine 2 door.
👍Thumbs up from Australia 👍
Now it's taking shape. Good thing you made all those different profile gages
This was a mini masterclass in the flexibility and value of a MIG welder. The tip on using 220 to penetrate on 16 gauge(quickly) and also plug welding was something I did not know. While UA-cam enthralls the planet with tons of TIG weld videos and note: I respect that technique. It surely takes time to learn and I can vouch for that. But you can see that MIG welding can cover 80% of what you can do for vehicle fab. No garage should be with out one. Karl demonstrates that. Kudos to Kristina for great camera work and tunes.
The Reason he can sink those welds so good has a lot to do with he loves his work and has developed his skills over time.
Great information on the welding techniques
Karl .. you truly are a master at your craft ...love the videos...
Now this is a proper educational video with transferable knowledge. You've got the knack for keeping things interesting.
Love the use of CAD 😜
Killin it as always!
Doin well Cobber. Good to hear your thought processes, then see them come to life. Namaste
beautiful work on the door jambs and the braces .
Karl, you always do some fine work. Thanks for sharing.
Just want to say your skills are on the next level. The ability to plan many steps ahead when fitting and fabing a part is something not many folks can do.
Looking great...gussets are required, practical and can be custom art, nice.
G'day mate..knew from the start this channel was going to be a winner..you haven't disappointed..love the builds thanks MR FISHER 🤣🤣👍👍🇦🇺🇦🇺
She's coming along, I like it and I looks great

Genius level metalworking, this is going be one special Zephyt.
Hey Karl, To much talent in one guy.
Just kidding. What I like about you is you are thorough with what your building. Also, you show us tricks of your trade. Not many builders are like you. These young kids or young men will be taught by the best, when you give classes. Take care and be safe.
Functional and be stylish too!! Those turned out sweet! Between you, Bad Chad, and Fitzee class is IN!!!
Awesome as always and i love your music selection..groovy baby
Very nicely done Karl! I just love Clecos. I have a new order for some that I have to pick up tomorrow at Gilbert's in Salmon Arm, they're the little clamp like ones for edges. Since I was watching you weld in small sheet pieces it reminded me of a tool that I have that I pickup from a Lordco parking lot sale probably 30 years ago. It's a tool that looks a little like the top of a crutch with a curved foam rubber covered shoulder brace attached to a chrome thick walled tube inside of which is an adjustable pointed carbon steel shaft for length. It's basically a third hand so that you have both hands free to use, one with the torch and the other perhaps for positioning the metal. The carbon point of the tool rests where you put it then you apply pressure with your body weight to hold it in place while you tack it down. It has been an extremely useful tool over the years.
i absolutely appreciate how you take time to explain your actions
Looking good man! Can’t wait to see this next week.
Your making it original one of a kind not copying in detail or duplicating another looking great it should be a great build and original all the best to you and your loved ones
Lots of Love on this channel thanks to all of you I particularly like all your comments.
Love watching you work Karl.
Your approach is detailed yet not over complex.
Easy to follow and learning a lot watching you approach each task.

@Mike G-day Michael.

Hi Karl, great video just do your own never copy anyone. Your creation is very important. Love the channel a lot to learn. Take care thanks 😊
I like that little cleco tab on the door. I never thought of doing that. 👍👍
Owsome work done Karl.
Cheer. 🍻
Tabs and clecos. Fantastic idea. Also you can’t beat a purple roloc disc. They are a beast.
I always leave your video with a smile and some motivation. Thanks for making these.
You Sir are an artist. I currently keep up with 3 Canadian channels all whom are building custom cars. ALL 3 equally are artist in their own rites however each are disciplined in very different techniques. Without naming anyone maybe others can identify them in my comment. All of you are attempting to do a great job as fast as you can to keep the videos flowing. One of you has a fast as you can get it done mentality never giving thought to the whole cars structure or safety of going back on the road when finished. The other two do seem to be following the goal of making it road worthy once again. These other two both show they have YEARS of aquirred knowledge. And the difference beyond technique is one uses the tools being sold in the industry to create such art while the other built his tools mocked up from those tools being sold to others. BOTH of these two build a beast of a ride that I personally would feel safe in rolling down the road at any speed. My respect level for both is tremendous but the guy who built almost every major tool in his arsenal has currently got the MOST thus far. No disrespect to the other just we all tend to agree that the self made man always gets the most respect in society. But if they don't build a safe vehicle in the end? It may as well be placed on the wall as art and never cry about what's being said about your work. A car is built to be driven. Not sit on a trailer and look pretty while claiming it's a million dollar car. To me it's nothing more than junk yard scrap sewn together for observation only and in the end worthless. Has nothing really to what you did here in this video I just had to express the similarities and the obvious differences between the three of you. Yes you are the one with skills and although you do make tools to get the job done there is just ONE more guy/channel that has a few MORE tools that are being used to accomplish the same tasks. Love watching all three for the content. Just hanging respect where it is dew. Thanks for sharing your talents Karl you are a master of metal. Keep the masterpieces coming. 🏆 To others? Leave a comment as to who YOU believe are the other two channels. I'll check back in occasionally to see if anyone gets the descriptions I've stated.
It dawned on me one of the other two isn't actually Canadian. My bad. But still might be figured out as to whom was described. No disrespect to the others.
you are true craftsman
Another masterclass by a master craftsman! The best channel on UA-cam by a country mile!
Love seeing the progress on the Zephyr!!!!
nice job mate, can't wait to see you tackle the trunk and catwalk
Good work!! I am forward to see the next Zephyr video
Awesome work. Dimple dies are the bomb :)
Good morning Karl, those spot welds are beautiful. They look better than factory work. You are wright, you get much better penetration and a beautiful flat weld that does not require all day grinding session. Thanks for another excellent video. I sure do enjoy the education. Take care and good luck.
Very clean. Enjoyed the explanations and the systematic approach to doing it right from the start.
The only thing wrong with this video is now I have to wait another week!! As always great content from a great craftsman. Tks Karl
You're not just showing, you are teaching as well. Enjoying classes. 🙂
I just love how you demystify how to make something from nothing. Just incredible!
Whoop whoop! My favorite project!
You're the MAN KARL!
You sure do nice work Karl.
Looking good nice and clean .Great video have a good day
Nice work!!!
Love the dimple die work
It's great that you have the time to show us your great technics on a big restoration job as that it really is privilege to watch you work thanks
I shuddered every time you dropped your profile gauge lol, They can move a little every time it falls the wrong way, Great video. Mini Whitney workout lol.
That was awesome 👍
Nice work as always. Custom
Master craftsman here folks 👍👍👍
Another great job well done Karl!!!! Love watching you building a project piece for all your projects.Your skills are fantastic. Thanks for sharing Karl and Kristina.☺️☺️☺️👍👍👍👍✌️✌️
Karl, this is what I love about your videos. You build "honest" cars. You don't try to replicate the manufacturer's parts but rather their purpose. You aren't a metal plagiarist but an artist with your own interpretation. You will be able to tell that you built this car, not the company. Beautiful work, and today no plasma table. Thanks again and see you next time.
Nice work brother . It shows it all in the preparation and taking your time to do it right and no body will never know it wasn't stock
This video gives me great ideas for replacing rusted metal on the bottom corner of door frame on my 280Z. Thanks for the great video!
Gussets look awesome dude
Great video
I never would have before, had so much appreciation for the craftsmanship and artistic flair a structural box beam could become.
just lovin these videos, the suicide doors are awesome , those gusset plates were fabrication dreamwork this is gonna be a sweet ride keep it up
Morning Karl, happy Monday!! I agree with you totally on how you explained welding your 16 ga. material.....you do some fine work my friend!! Be safe!! God Bless!!
Another super great production. Your skills and workshop are amazing. Thank you for the time and effort you both put into these productions. People can learn so much.
I find your videos both very useful but also strangely therapeutic to listen to. You have a very pleasant way of presenting, and a true gift of teaching and conveying knowledge so clearly. Although I have to say that I find your taste in music rather esoteric.
Very creative in the design. I really appreciate an artist at work. Great video.
Thanks for always pumping out the content! Great channel!
Karl your craftsmanship and fabrication skills are amazing. I really enjoy the effort you put into your projects. Your energy motives me every morning to get work done, thanks 👨🔧.
Always great to see your metalwork! Those C pillars have been upgraded to B pillars now

I dig it. I like that it's going to have suicide doors.
Look forward to seeing this project in the future, I always learn a little something extra from your sheet metal fabrication videos, that's for sure.
Thanks!
Dam you are so good!!! So many great tips 👍🏼
Mad skills Dude.
Great work Karl…
My cheapskate welder struggles to drag me along sometimes but other days just does the job fine… each weld I do is a big fat learning curve but watching yourself and others on UA-cam gives me encouragement to keep moving forwards.. many thanks for sharing..
Practice Practice Practice 👍👍
@@g.o.b.2558 ...screw up and learn/determine to do better.😁
@@philmickey7247 There are no mistakes just learning curves.

Hey Karl, you have the skills. Well done.
Dude you have skills love this build 👍
O wow like how you multitask just one brain one mind or else things get mess up that’s why it’s called make it custom is all about ! Great job!!
It is such a pleasure to watch your fabrication process. Thank you.
Dude, you are an inspiration! The most concise and thorough explanation of, maybe hundreds of welding videos I have watched. Thanks a milllion!
You’re so welcome man thank you!!
You make that stuff look easy, and I know it ain't easy. Nicely done!
