how much rattle in your car? im from norway, and im getting 2 12 inch sealed subs (30L enclosure) but im afraid that they wont hit the lows. The lower limtiting frequency is 49hz. I like rap but also occasionaly techno/electro. Should I go for it? I want something thats gonna make a thunderous sound and umf! in my car.
Hello Petter, sealed boxes produce accurate bass but not as loud as the ported boxes. On the other hand the ported boxes can produce low and heavy bass frequencies. If car space is not an issue, then I suggest to have ported subwoofer box. They are much larger than sealed box.
@@chrclmnky OK thnanks, but does lower limiting frequency of 49hz mean that I wont be able to hear any bass below that Hz (frequency)?
@@petterbakken7818 not really. Box still produces frequencies lower than the frequency it was tuned exponentially decreasing/ inversely proportional.
@@chrclmnky alright, im really stuck. The system im looking at is a dual 12 inch (1000w rms each) sealed subwoofers. The brand is called helix (german car audio). Have you heard of them? the total cost of the system is a around 2500 dollars, so I really need to be certain here haha.
@@petterbakken7818 ported or sealed, they both good. There is another kind of subwoofer box, the bandpass box.
R this subwoofer best than pioneer 312 d
