I get video involvement privileges. The rest of you had to wait. Also, feel free to ask me about my base, I will do my best to answer. Just make sure your reply pings me.
Video is nice, i like the concept of seeing other ppl showing their base, since if you only see doshdoshington, nilaus or you, there is a sense of inferiority.
Each seed generates different planets, not only in name. You always have at least one volcanic, one ice and one of biters (vulcanite, cryonite and vitamelange), nauvis orbit with the ruins, caldius asteroid belt 1 (with present) and 2. All the other things like secondary ore distribution (holmium, iridium, berillium and immersite), were are the piramids or the other planet's type is dependant of the seed.
Great video! When the video started, I was thinking, "Gosh... I hope this guy is using some cool mods I might like to see in action!". Then... Sure enough... Great mod talk! "Make the game what you want!" It's not for everyone, but I'm totally into it! Keep it coming! Vanilla, modded, hardcore, whatever you think is worth sharing!
I could never get into Factorissimo for the exact same reason. Half the reward for cramming a factory process into a space it doesn't belong is seeing the affront to God in action.
My one suggestion would be, don't be as assertive on questioning the reason a map builder did something. Like the ingots and plates, it seemed to really shut him down for a good moment. You don't want people to feel stupid, you want them to be excited to share their thoughts process. He did recover some explaining getting ingots to space, but you could of cultivated that response from him without challenging his intelligence. I'm actually really excited about you doing these kinds of videos. Good work.
I was genuinely trying to understand why someone would put plates on a train. It's a long standing question I have. And my take was that the factory was designed by a lot of different people, some who only popped in for a few hours, and so the precise reasoning for why that decision was made wasn't clear. Tour number 2 is finished, I'm just waiting for confirmation from the volunteer that he's happy with the video.
Imma need to to start putting your discord server link in video descriptions. The one on your pages about section isn't clickable, and I can't copy it in my phone.
No offense but it's quite boring to watch a base with so many mods installed, especially since a lot of them are seemingly used to skip/make easier various SE challenges. I'd strongly prefer vanilla base tours, (or the overhaul mod equivalent of vanilla).
I think it is great to see someone tinker their experience to their liking. Mods are there to diversify and not adhere to the one vision. Purity for purity sake is a redundancy in my factory, and at the end of the day, there is just a factory that needs to grow.

No offense taken and fair enough. If someone comes along offering a vanilla factory then I'll take it...
