From what I understand: The seal of duality is a vessel for another powerful object; the Vril device is a key to another powerful object; and the Summoning key is a conduit which supplies power.
@@euphorii4805 richtofen says to stu during the easter egg that the "vril device" is not to be confused with the "vril vessel". The Elemental Shard was made with the blood of Ultimis. Richtofen heard Apothicon voices in his head that told him how to make the Agarthan device and one of the steps is siphoning four mortal souls. This essentially linked the four characters across the entire multiverse.
I love these videos. They make me want to buy all of the Treyarch COD games just to play zombies, or do the EEs for these maps. Never have I ever been more excited to play them!
Honestly I can’t quite argue with Vincent here if you do get these games the excitement dies down unless your me and for some reason play for months and then get bored for like a month and then keep playing again
To be honest I've done half of the bo4 easter eggs and this took me the longest by far. That damn boss fight killed me about 5 times before me and a friendly finally did it as I clutched up in the facility. Ill never forget that moment
I did this solo and it must’ve taken me 5. I always died on that step up in the lab (can’t remember it). Funnily enough 1st time I made it to the boss fight, I had 1 down in it then completed
If you are new to black ops 4 and trying to learn the map layouts before attempting the EE, go play gauntlets, they kinda serve as tutorials for each map showing you where things are, and sometimes the boss fights too
The Vril Vessel is the same of Agarthanian Device and is the same of Seal of Duality, it is used together with the elemental shard (little 115 that we collect on Alpha Omega) by Nikolai to end the paradox/cycle imposed by Monty on the end of Revelations. The Vril Device is the same as Golden Rod and is the thing that is inside the safe that we “feed” to get the Wunderwaffe in Tag der Toten; it is used, together with the focusing stone (little stone that we collect on shangri-la) as well by Richtofen to exchange his body with Samantha’s body in the map Moon. The Summoning Key is a thing created by the Keepers that helps them control the world and Agartha, but is used by SoE crew to trap Shadowman inside (that would later be released by Maxis on Agartha - Revlations intro cutscene) and is used by Richtofen to send the Ultimis crew souls to Agartha (BO3 cutscenes). Hope my English is “understandable” I’m from Brazil!! Love your videos
I’d have to say that’s probably The Giant. Der Riese combined with BO3 mechanics. No crazy bosses, the catwalk. If you play long enough you may fall asleep lol.
Personally it’s my second favorite zombies game. I never really played Bo2 however it’s over exo, Cold War, and vanguard. It’s maps are just so memorable and fun to mess around in, and in my opinion it has the coolest we’d and wonder weapons
The Seal of Duality, also known as the Agarthan Device, is an all-powerful artifact that both the Apothicon's and Keepers wanted to destroy the other however neither was able to craft. At the end of Tag Der Toten Nikoli created it from the 3 parts Victus gave him to destroy the multiverse. The Agarthan Device is created from the Blood of an Elder God (Blood of an Apothicon), a soul fused with Element 115 (Elemental Shard from Alpha Omega), and the Vril Device. The Vril Device is only a part of the Agarthan with no stated purpose; it was created by Jebediah Brown from Purgatory Point (Buried), the same man who created pack-a-punch using the help of keepers (known to him as angels). The Summoning Key is the first device created by the keepers and shapes things that interact with the Aether (manifested in our dimensions as Element 115). It is used in BO3 to capture the souls of our 4 characters as their souls from every timeline had been exposed to the Aether, and is needed as it can open and destroy worlds. Combining it's ability to manipulate the Aether, which is in every dimension, and its ability to destroy worlds/dimensions meant that the Agarthan device could be used to destroy the whole multi-verse sending it and everything/one to the Dark Aether. Nikoli used these 2 items to do just that, allowing Eddy and Samantha to live a life without Aether...until whatever happens in BO4 and Vanguard
Jeb made the vril vessel, not the vril device. The vril vessel is a part of the seal of duality. The vril device is the thing rictofen used to switch bodies with Samantha in moon.
00:25 agree even alpha omega with it’s flaws is somehow challenging for high rounds and you can have a lot of fun with high rounds and trying to obtain all the raygun variants including the og raygun and packapunch them
Alright, so long explanation time for confusing zombies lore: Tl;dr - vril vessel = metal thingy in safe. Seal of duality = vril vessel + apothicon blood + elemental shard + pack a punch. Summoning key = most powerful thing ever to exist, can contain and move souls at well and create gateways. Vril device: the golden rod. The summoning key: It is the most powerful artifact in any and every universe and was created by "the one" the first keeper. It was initially used to create the multiverse from nothingness and it has the power to contain and release souls as well as open rifts to new worlds. The vril vessel (also known as the vessel of the keepers) is the metal vessel you obtain the tag easter egg in the safe. When combined with four souls harnessed in the power of the aether (the elemental shard), the blood of an elder God (apothicon blood which is the glowey red orb in the tag easter egg), and after combined "upgraded" using the power of the dark aether (the pack a punch and element 115) we create the Seal of Duality. This has the power to "grant that which one most desires". A little vague, but we know that it has the power to open and close universes, in addition to destroying the summoning key. Vril device: the simplest of the three - this is the golden rod. When charged with the power of heavily concentrated 115 (like the focusing stone from shang) it has the power to swap souls with someone. Hopefully you can see this comment and enjoy my long ass Ted Talk on zombies lore! Edit: Forgot to mention "Agarthan Device" is just another name for the seal of duality
Not gonna lie I took BO4 for granted. I don’t like saying “grateful” when talking about companies because I’m literally the one giving them my money to play, but I could’ve been less critical and more grateful to Treyarch for the effort they put into this game. You know you are the one that got me to play through all the bo4 maps, and I gotta say most if not all are super underrated. Loving the Bo4 content, can you make videos on all the ee's and gaunlets you havent finished. I've recently been playing a ton of Bo4 and its awesome to have new content on it.
Very interesting take. I play a lot of BO4 zombies and I always found Tag and Alpha as the least chill. I think it's because of the earlier sprinters on Tag and the stronger zombies from the contaminated on Alpha. As for EE's It isn't too hard. But casual play-throughs feel more intense on those maps
Bo4 has definitely grown on me after Cold War and vanguard zombies and tag der toten is a very underrated map also keep up the great content it’s always nice to watch late at night or sometime during the day as they aren’t too long yet still very entertaining to watch. I guess this is what I know as a casual follower of the storyline: The Seal of Duality is the golden cage around the Elemental Shard for the Agarthan Device. The Vril Device is the combination of the Focusing Stone and Golden Rod that was used in the Moon EE (even though apparently the Golden Rod is also called the Vril Device) The Summoning Key is what is used in BO3 by Richtofen, originally created by the Keepers, to manipulate Aether and cross dimensions, as well as house souls.
The planet Easter egg is cool too, its so relaxing to just stand there and watch. No zombies can come, I think and it gives you a breather spot to just look at it. Though it is a hard EE to do.
Hey Chrrism, I actually was stuck at one step of the ee because I didn't know how to open pack-a-punch from the boat side of the sunken path pack-a-punch placement, and there weren't any guides or anything. And I was really lucky you uploaded this today! I'm in round 38 when I'm writing this, you're an absolute legend and I'm subbing for saving my run! And my psyche, I was about to go insane haha!
The seal of duality is one part of three for the agarthan device, its pretty much a vessel that holds the elemental shard and Apothicon blood. Vril vessel is another vessel ofc, that is used to hold a stone which allows the user to swap souls with anyone. And I’m pretty sure the summoning key is used to create things. Agarthan device is like a genie in a bottle pretty much
So my only experience with Blops 4 zombies, is UA-camrs playing the maps, but i remember from you Alpha Omega video (i think that is the expanded NukeTown one), that the elemental Shard is a means of transfering souls from one body to another.
I loved call of the dead on bo1 and I haven't played much of bo4 zombies so I never knew this map came out, but it definitely looks like fun and nostalgic.
The Vril Device is a energy source. The Seal of Duality is something that creates or destroys matter and energy. The Summoning Key is a matter transference device basically the first ever teleporter. Weirdly enough, that means souls are matter as well in this game.
if you really wanna know know about the story line , there is a vid of about 7 hrs by the name : the complete unabridged aether story line , SOOOO GOOOOD
My understanding of the three things are. The Seal of Duality (which is refered to a Vrill Vessel) is a means to to store a specifc kind of power. The Vrill Device is a power source (akin to a mini generator that doesn't need fuel, where the Vessel is more like a battery) and the Summoning Key is a device with reality warping power, capable of doing just about anything if the user knows how to wield it (a rarity, to say it mildly)
You do get a max and carpenter after first lockdown of boss fight, you’re just going the wrong way. Take the stairs down immediately in the lockdown area, don’t walk to the other set of stairs as you did.
You actually do get a max ammo on the first stop in the boss fight, you're meant to go down the stairs once you get enough kills and the max ammo is directly down the stairs on the boat lol
That one is ridiculous, I refuse to even attempt to complete that. Idk why they chose to do that but they should’ve just implemented a regular EE quest into classified. I can’t imagine trying to get to even round 100 let alone 150
After the first soul box on the last step there is a max ammo spawn but it requires you to go down the other stairs to the bottom of the boat by the spitfire wall buy
Okay but like when you Tim Hansen a thumbnail lmfao Seriously tho dunno how I noticed lol Also, I really enjoy Ur vids btw Personally I think of you think of you as the next Tim Hansen ( Personally )
Summoning Key: An artfact created by the keepers to open gateways to new realities, can be use to store soul energy whilst protecting it from corruption. The Vril Device: Another artefact of the keepers, who in universe have been mistaken for angels, demons, and the mythical Vril-ya. The Vril Device acts a condoit or battery, can be charged with soul energy, and channel Aetherial energy through 115 (Like the Focusing Stone) The Vril Vessel: A storage device for the Aporican Blood, built by Jeb Brown, a Blacksmith from Buried who built the OG Pack a Punch machine than 935 later reverse engineered in Der Riese. He also "Pack a Punched" is mothers corpse, turning her in to the ghost or "Witch" in Buried. The Focusing Stone: A piece of a 115 meteorite that formed under special conditions, giving it interesting properties, like focusing energy. The Staff Crystals: Elemental Crystals, possible containing 115, can be weaponised if focused. The Elemental Shard: A shard of Element 115 infused with Ultimis Richtofens Blood, along with his soul, and the souls of the rest of Ulitmis.
The vril devise is like the base for the agarthan device you also need some other stuff to make the agarthan device however when you make it, it will grant any wish you want
Damn it's crazy that this is the last High Quality Zombies map we ever had🤧 Don't get me wrong Cold War is fun ish but not as appealing as the games before.
Yeah Cold War is fun but it’s a lot less hardcore than the OG zombie games where you get hit twice without Jugg and you go down. Nows it’s like 3 or 4 hits with no jugg + you get armor & perk upgrades
I think I’m the only one who separates which maps when discussing them for BO4. Cause Chaos and Aether may be the same game engine but they quite different in look and feel. Same idea with Zelinski and Blundell maps in BO2
Tag Der Toten is the only map I've completed the easter egg on for BO4, and that was only because I a random player in my lobby knew how to complete it. I didn't really know we were doing the easter egg until nearing the end of it.
Did you get a capture card? If so, you can just use this current PC as a recording PC so you can get that crisp 2kp60 quality while having no frame drop in game. Similar to a dual PC setup for streaming
Easily one of my top favourite zombie maps specially on bo4 the Easter egg is good just really wish they made a better boss fight still amazing to complete
Man I love this map so much, arguably the most beautiful map to ever exist, this is easily a top 10 favourite map also it’s the 1st map I got to round 100 on
This is why I'm glad Cold War was a soft-reboot. Even if they end up bringing Victis back (which it looks like they will), I doubt it'll ever get as complex as the BO2 to BO4 storyline lmao. Like don't get me wrong it's fun and pretty cool once you understand it, but holy shit it got needlessly complex.

Legit one of the best current zombies UA-camrs if not the best. Love u ❤️
26:56 bro turned into morty lmaoo
The Vrill Device is a power source (akin to a mini generator that doesn't need fuel, where the Vessel is more like a battery)
and the Summoning Key is a device with reality warping power, capable of doing just about anything if the user knows how to wield it (a rarity, to say it mildly)
Loved the vid tag in definitely one of the most underrated maps ever
I don’t remember the difference but if you look up the entire zombies storyline it explains it
You’re the first UA-camr I really enjoy watching in a really long time. Thanks
I tried to watch this @ work… took me 4 hours to finish it. Well worth it.
I live in Germany and it’s 4:25 I wait every day if you make a video
I’m convinced that the final step is impossible to finish without the Hellion Salvo and PhD Slider
You do get a max and carpenter after first lockdown of boss fight, you’re just going the wrong way. Take the stairs down immediately in the lockdown area, don’t walk to the other set of stairs as you did.
The summing key preserves a soul after death.Agarthin device opens the portal to Agatha.
You are the only zombies player that gets me want to play bo4 zombies
You actually do get a max ammo on the first stop in the boss fight, you're meant to go down the stairs once you get enough kills and the max ammo is directly down the stairs on the boat lol
The longest main ee outside launch maps is probably classified where you have to get to round 150 to beat the ee
Alpha Omega is one of my favourite maps. It’s so underrated
Chrrism carrying zombies community rn
Chill map? How about you CHILL WITH SOME B*TCHES HAHAHA
(jokes)
8:36 I played the map for literally the first time yesterday and watching this makes my head hurt lol
great video man
You make me want to reinstall bo4 😩
Sophia: Do it......do it now
So i know his throwables are snowballs. But for a sloped second before he threw one. I thought he had 10 chicken McNuggets.
You are the most chill zombies map, have a wonderful day.
Okay but like when you Tim Hansen a thumbnail lmfao
Seriously tho dunno how I noticed lol
Also, I really enjoy Ur vids btw
Personally I think of you think of you as the next Tim Hansen ( Personally )
Summoning Key:
An artfact created by the keepers to open gateways to new realities, can be use to store soul energy whilst protecting it from corruption.
The Vril Device:
Another artefact of the keepers, who in universe have been mistaken for angels, demons, and the mythical Vril-ya. The Vril Device acts a condoit or battery, can be charged with soul energy, and channel Aetherial energy through 115 (Like the Focusing Stone)
The Vril Vessel:
A storage device for the Aporican Blood, built by Jeb Brown, a Blacksmith from Buried who built the OG Pack a Punch machine than 935 later reverse engineered in Der Riese. He also "Pack a Punched" is mothers corpse, turning her in to the ghost or "Witch" in Buried.
The Focusing Stone:
A piece of a 115 meteorite that formed under special conditions, giving it interesting properties, like focusing energy.
The Staff Crystals:
Elemental Crystals, possible containing 115, can be weaponised if focused.
The Elemental Shard:
A shard of Element 115 infused with Ultimis Richtofens Blood, along with his soul, and the souls of the rest of Ulitmis.
The vril devise is like the base for the agarthan device you also need some other stuff to make the agarthan device however when you make it, it will grant any wish you want
I actually really enjoyed Alpha Omega
Vid idea day 71: what your favorite cod zombies song says about you
You are very dedicated
Damn it's crazy that this is the last High Quality Zombies map we ever had🤧 Don't get me wrong Cold War is fun ish but not as appealing as the games before.
Yeah Cold War is fun but it’s a lot less hardcore than the OG zombie games where you get hit twice without Jugg and you go down. Nows it’s like 3 or 4 hits with no jugg + you get armor & perk upgrades
@@bandz1of169 true, hopefully the next Zombies experience we get is a mix of the Cold War System and BO3 type of maps and stories🙏
@filaaa !! and upgrading perks, the maps where boring to replay them multiple times.
BO4 was better than Cold War imo
9:54 it is the agarthan device's vessel.
I think I’m the only one who separates which maps when discussing them for BO4. Cause Chaos and Aether may be the same game engine but they quite different in look and feel. Same idea with Zelinski and Blundell maps in BO2
TAG DER TOTEN NEET TADGSAUHAHAWGADGSUY DER TOTUM YANK!
I’m honestly convinced this man has a crush on Samantha maxis
0:36
Nah Alpha Omega is goated
Tag Der Toten is the only map I've completed the easter egg on for BO4, and that was only because I a random player in my lobby knew how to complete it. I didn't really know we were doing the easter egg until nearing the end of it.
Nobody
Chrrism: turns into morty 27:02
a really good game idea: take a shot every time he says balls
Did you get a capture card? If so, you can just use this current PC as a recording PC so you can get that crisp 2kp60 quality while having no frame drop in game. Similar to a dual PC setup for streaming
I love this map be ause call of the dead was great but underrated. I love both and keep up the great work this is why I come on youtube anymore
some good zombies content. i can't thank you enough
Easily one of my top favourite zombie maps specially on bo4 the Easter egg is good just really wish they made a better boss fight still amazing to complete
Chrism, please make a video of Old-Gen shadows 😂🙏
Man I love this map so much, arguably the most beautiful map to ever exist, this is easily a top 10 favourite map also it’s the 1st map I got to round 100 on
This video is making me want to play BO4! I've never played it before, but it looks fun!
Ayo that sus my guy 🤨 15:16
