Use a hand blower to mount on the mower for back yards; much smaller, lighter, mountable, less gas used. I put trimmer mounts on my 60 for larger subcontract mows I do ( and a coupla large residentials, and a couple I have to travel from the rig to the property for parking purposes ), but I was thinking about putting it on the mower for back yards even when I park right in front of houses to save a little time and break up the walking of trimming the whole yard so I don't get tired....
I was gonna ask about the new rig, because I saw it in the walk of shame video and was like 🤔 I bet the fuel savings are pretty good. I don't mind running a trailer and multiple mowers, but my "48 and 22 in the bed" setups were nice and compact.
What kind of tires are those on your mower? Looks like Carlisle tread.
They are the Factory Grassmasters. Yea good idea on the handheld blower, the only issue is that I would need one that was really powerful to bust up any Bermuda clumps that may be in the yard.
I just seen a 48 Big Dog. Look just like it but red. I might buy it. He's about 200 miles away from me. But Scag is closer
I love the machine but reverse is really slow, or its just me?
You don’t want reverse fast because you get run over or pinned against something.
So you sold the 54 just cause you wanted a smaller deck?
No the 54 would not fit in my pickup truck. I was planning on moving but that got delayed after I had sold the equipment.
