I love when there’s a legitimate John/Paul collaboration in Beatles songs. I’ve Got A Feeling is one of my favorites from Let It Be for the part where the two of them are singing their separate songs on top of one another.
I grew up in a "typical" dysfunctional family situation in the '60's and '70's, with a lot of dark things happening all the time, and I have to say that discovering the music of the Beatles was one of the bright spots that helped carry me through all of that. I'm 61 now, and still love their music--never grew tired of it. My sister feels the same way. Thanks for the video!

Sgt. Peppers has become our annual "decorate the tree while eating Pepperidge Farm cookies" Christmas tradition. It somehow works as a Christmas album!
A Hard day's night movie changed my life when I was 12 years old. In my house there were all kinds of music, from father's folk music to brother's Metallica and Sepultura, but Beatles made me start a music journey to 60's and 70's. When I was young, so much younger than today I adored the early Beatles. During the years on the University I became a huge fan of their 1965-1970 phase, after an almost religious experience with Tomorrow never knows . My favourite albums now are Revolver and Abbey Road, it's a tie. I'm a huge Beatles fan, I can never get tired of their music.
well said -- Tomorrow Never Knows isn't just a high-water mark of Beatles songs, it's a high-water mark of 20th century culture. If you haven't already, you might enjoy reading "Revolution in the Head".
The Beatles were actually my first love. They were the earliest music I remember as a really young kid in the mid 70s. As the 70s closed and the 80s began my attention was drawn to Punk and Metal and of course it got more extreme from there. During the 80s when I was heavily into Thrash and getting into Death Metal, The Beatles were the furthest thing from my mind. I think because I always associated them with my childhood I immaturely thought of them as basic, irrelevant, and old. That literally changed in the early 90s after I graduated from high school. There was a brief period back then when I was directionless and unemployed and I rediscovered The Beatles by going through a box of old stuff and finding my dad’s old cassette dubs from his albums, which we’d literally lost in a fire at the beginning of my senior year. All of a sudden, those tapes were precious. This is way before they started reissuing vinyl albums and being unemployed I didn’t have the cash to go out and buy the cds. When I started listening to those cassettes I was in love all over again. I can honestly say I’ve been a Beatles fan nearly my entire life even if there was a brief time in my teen years I really didn’t appreciate them as much.
Always found it amazing that all of these albums came out within 7 years, they crammed an entire varied experimental genre bending world dominating, journeyed musical career into less that a Decade, those who say they’re overrated have no idea what they’re talking about.. ps love the videos Pete keep up the good work 🤘
Pete, you earned my respect by noting that Rubber Soul was their first serious album. Not to diminish the early work but Rubber Soul elevated them to legendary status. No other band has captured our imaginations and stretched the sonic boundaries like the Beatles.
For myself, My list of favorite Beatles albums would change from time to time. I've always kind of separated their music into 3 different eras. The early and touring years 1962-65 Experimental studio years 1966-68 Final back to the roots years 68-70 So, depending on my own mood depends on what my favorite. But, as you mentioned the different albums, the more I wanted to jump into those albums right away. As always, great list and great subject. Thanks, Pete
Pete, you rock! I'm 68. Rubber Soul. Memories..... Then Revolver, Pepper, White, Abbey Road. Thank you for what you do. You reintroduced me to Genesis. "Watcher of the Skies". "Supper's Ready". Oh my. So much I missed when I was pre-med and failed and stopped living for 5 years trying to make my parents love me. Now catching up partially thanks to your "spot" on UA-cam. I'm big time vinyl. Garage Sales religiously in 80's, 90's and first decade of 2000. Pennies on the dollar. Thanks to all you folks that fell for the "perfect sound forever" gambit. Yes, I have CD's too.
Beatles vs Stones is kinda like the Ginger vs Mary Ann thing. I can go either or on any given day for any given mood. And sometimes, why not both. Stay well and if this can't pick you up, go listen to some Zappa and laugh.
I remember back in the day our radio station would have Stones vs The Beatles nights where listeners would call in there fav Stones or Beatles songs. It was a blast to listen to.
The Stones make you feel crazy and the Beatles make you feel good, every day or every season of the year. I'm embarrassed that I've discovered their music a little bit late, but now I'm hearing them every single day of my life. Thank you for your ranking!
When I was a kid I had almost all the Beatles records before I had anything by anyone else. I love the music and I love the vibe. Later on I thought I would never listen to another Beatles song I heard them so much. But I gave it a break and one of best bands came back into my heart. I love the Beatles. You are right the power of music is liberating and frees the soul. Today as we feel the world is burning maybe a little Blackbird or In my Life reminds us that humanity will return and to not close our hearts too much to the world around us. It will be a glorious day when we can embrace each other again. Thanks Pete for the break in the Heavy that is going on in the world these day.
All 4 my fave band in their own way: Led, Rush, Beatles, ELO. Fave era of the Beatles: Rubber Soul through Let it Be('65-'70). First Beatles experience: in the 70's listening to Pepper on 8-track tape. No fave Beatles album, too many great one's to choose a fave.
It would probably be 5 for me and that would be Zeppelin, Beatles, the Who, Pink Floyd, and Steely Dan. ELO definitely in my top 10 and Rush probably as well.
And.....It all depends on how I feel at any time which is my favourite. Whatever my mood or what's going on in my life, there is a Beatles album that fits what I need.

As always, great ranking. I always tell people my favorite Beatles album is Sgt Peppers, and my fav album of all time is Abbey Road. Thanks for your sobering comments at the end too
Solid list, Pete. I enjoyed your take on such a listing, which with the Beatles (no pun intended) is never an easy feat. Mine is slightly different: 1 A Hard Days Night 2 Rubber Soul 3 Revolver 4 The Beatles 5 Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band 6 Abbey Road 7 Magical Mystery Tour 8 Let It Be 9 Help! 10 Please, Please Me 11 With the Beatles 12 Beatles for Sale
That 2nd LP is sadly very underrated. My favorite early LP and my 5th choice over all. A great collection of Soul, Rock and Roll and Pop. Seamless! Love Georges first great song- 'Don't bother me' and no weak tunes IMHO!
Not so sure about "musically, sociologically, culturally." But "commercial and creative at the same time". UnBeatable. Without Beatles no Rock n Roll evolution past the early seventies.
This group.....simply mind boggling...50 years from now, people will still be talking about their importance, their impact, and the love of their music.

Your appraisal of the Beatles' discography closely aligns with my own. The first several albums are fine examples of the peppy, early '60s rock and pop sound that they had distilled to near perfection by "Beatles For Sale," but it wasn't until "Rubber Soul" that the band hit their stride as mature, full-fledged musicians and craftsmen of fine art!
Unlike almost any other band, there are multiple great songs on every single album they released. The best part, is that they evolved and experimented throughout their career and still put out stellar album after stellar album.
"Unlike almost any other band, there are multiple great songs on every single album they released", that's a big pile of horseshit about your comment on other bands lack of multiple great songs on every album.
@@lehtokurppa7824 Don't hold back. Tell me how you really feel. I think there are very few bands that keep a really high standard through their whole discography. I am not even a huge Beatles fan,but there is no denying their songwriting talents.
After listening to PP's rankings, I'd disagree that every album had multiple great songs. If the band split up after their first 3 albums, they'd be talked about in the same breath as The Bay City Rollers. In other words a pop band. Thankfully they evolved from a pop band to a great band. Every album after that contained 80% great songs, but also a bit of filler.
Pete,I've only discovered your reviews pretty recently but I've enjoyed ,and found informative, just about all of them. This Beatles one has been my favourite.Your appreciation of the band, your comments about the times we all at present are living through and your attitude to them have made my day better. You,my friend, are one of life's good guys and I will back you up too.We always need ,and I think we will always need,The Beatles. Thanks and take care.
Agree, it has everything! it's rocking, witty, heavy, somber, lovely and has 2 medleys! Just Fantastic, it was the 1st album I ever purchased with my own money and has been in the #1 spot ever since.
Here’s my ranking from my favorite band of all time (I don’t think there’s a single bad album): 13. Yellow Submarine (again, not a bad album by any means, however half of it are Beatles songs, and the other half is the George Martin film score.) 12. With The Beatles (this is another solid album, but it’s always been my least favorite early Beatles album.) 11. Please Please Me (underrated debut album that’s really strong.) 10. Beatles For Sale (even more underrated content, but I listen to this album quite a bit.) 9. A Hard Day’s Night (such a great improvement from their first two. Also, great movie.) 8. Help! (always has been my favorite early Beatles album, great movie as well.) 7. Let It Be (I know a lot of people would say this album was disappointing, however I really like it a lot.) 6. Rubber Soul (really, in my opinion, where they got interesting. Such a great album.) 5. Magical Mystery Tour (such a great album with many favorites of mine.) 4. Revolver (literally a masterpiece from start to finish, not a bad song on here.) 3. The White Album (one of my favorite, if not, my favorite double album of all time, it goes by fast for me because it’s such a classic.) 2. Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band (the very first album I have ever listened to, and has stuck with me ever since.) 1. Abbey Road (my favorite album of all time, it absolutely never gets old for me.)
What you were saying towards the end there Pete is exactly what's happening in the U.K.too. We're all in this together. Really appreciate the content you're putting up and some of the recent videos have been excellent. I can confirm that the Beatles just get better with age; from the early songs of joy to the thoughtful and mature masterpieces of their later years. It will always be the Beatles, then everyone else.
In driving around LA, I actually found the real "Blue Jay Way" that George Harrison wrote the song about. I don't know what house it was on that street, but it was up in the hills, so I could imagine it at night, foggy and being kind of spooky.

Pete I'm 51 and never bought a beatles album and never heard any of their albums before. I have heard their radio playlist which is alot of songs. Watching your rating got me thinking I own so many bands entire catalog alot of bands. So after watching this I bought the beatles studio albums 13 of them. And they are fantastic. How did they not ever make a subpar album or even a stinker song? Brilliant material. I never got into them cause I always thought its not my style. Its too poppy or whatever. But great music is great music. I wasn't sure after I got all 13 where to start so I just listened to them in order of their release. I listened to each 5 times to get a good feel for each album before moving onto the next. Thanks again Pete for what you do. Gotta go gonna listen to the beatles straight thru again. Take care.
The Beatles recorded more albums in one decade then Michael Jackson, my hero, did in nearly half a century! This fact is doubly incredible when you consider the immense quality of their output. Not a bad apple in the bunch. (Revolver is my personal favorite, and in general I prefer the later, more rock n roll records.)
@@brianfergus839 No I didn't. I wasn't including J5 records, which would bring the MJ studio albums to 25, making my statement wrong, since than he would have recorded more albums that the Beatles as a single entity, as some MJ fans draw no distinction between the two, for some reason.

White album 11. Please please me 12. Let it be 13. Yellow submarine Thanks Pete
I can't rate these albums in any order, but I will say that the "mop top" Beatles are my favorite era. Talk about "good time music!" The early Beatles are very John dominate, as far as how many vocal tracks he sung leads on, and is my favorite era for him as a singer and front man. His vocals had the young man's angst and defiance to it. There is no question who was the leader of the band, at this point. This band is impossible to pigeonhole, because they changed so often and and invented so many different sounds that no one ever had heard before. Beatles music is just Beatles music. They were as incomparable as any entity that this earth has ever seen. Or ever will. The Fab Four came in like a comet and exploded into a starburst whose still burning embers continue to shine just as brightly as the years roll on and people, of all ages, continue to discover their music and fall under it's hypnotic and intoxicating spell...
Keep up the great work Pete. It's such a nice diversion from the news of today. Your opinions are fun to listen to and bring back great memories! Thanks!
I'm glad you talked about this vid in your livestream, because I did not get a notification for this one. I've gotten notifications for everything else, as far as I can tell. Weird - especially considering that The Beatles are my NUMBER ONE favorite band OAT.
@@111usul In my opinion, I find Sgt Pepper to be a little bit overrated. I can understand the significant impact it had on music history, but I found Abbey Road to be a much better album since there were much more passion and effort put into it. Plus, it has "Something" and "I Want You (She's So Heavy)", the former actually being my favourite song by the band as a whole. I guess it because there was much more passion put into Abbey Road, plus there was a raw organic feel to it that made me relate to this album more than I did to Sgt Pepper. The case for why everybody appears to love Sgt Pepper is because of its significant impact on Pop, Rock, etc, but I always felt that The White Album accomplished what Sgt Pepper attempted when it comes to pushing the boundaries of what The Beatles could do, thus making Sgt Pepper look safer in comparison (Not to say that it's a bad album of course, as I do enjoy listening to it sometimes). Plus, I can find myself relating more to the rawness and irony of songs like Helter Skelter, Dear Prudence, and Glass Onion than I do to the polished psychedelia of Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds. And with regards to Revolver, I think Tomorrow Never Knows will always be a better song than A Day in The Life. I know I will get a lot of hate in the comment section for this, but for me, Sgt Pepper is only one of the many remarkable achievements The Beatles made. If I could rank the later period Beatles albums, here would be my ranking 1. Abbey Road 2. White Album 3. Revolver 4. Sgt Pepper 5. Let It Be
@@thevfxmancolorizationvfxex4051 I love Sgt. Pepper and I think it's a great record. A Day in the Life is my favorite Beatles song. Just have a really strong personal connection to it. Abbey Road is also a great record. Not really sure how you can say 1 has more effort or passion over the other unless you were there during the recording sessions.
We love you too Pete! What a great idea to talk about The Beatles and P. M and The Wings these days. Just the type of music one needs to cheer up. They have always helped me in the past along with Jethro Tull. Thank you so much for this and your positive outlook in these difficult times. Cheers!
12 - Please Please Me. Great debut album but, in my opinion, that's where it stops. I don't think there's a lot that makes this album really great, though I enjoy it. 11 - Beatles For Sale. It definitely has a bunch of filler but some songs are nostalgic, like Eight Days A Week and I'm A Loser. I like the album. 10 - With The Beatles. It's kinda uninteresting overall but there are some great gems like Till There Was You. It's also pretty nostalgic. 9 - Let It Be. Definitely a very raw sounding album, but I hate the tracklisting on this album, and I really feel like it should've ended on The Long And Winding Road. It does have some of my favorite songs like Let It Be, Across The Universe, and For You Blue, so it certainly isn't bad in my opinion. 8 - White Album. Just gonna get this out of the way, I really don't like the tracklisting here, and there is a lot of filler. That said, the non-filler songs are some of their best ever. This is probably their only album that doesn't have a specific feel which actually is interesting. I don't not like it because it's a double album however, I just feel that every side could've taken away one song. 7 - Help! Among the best of their pop albums, and you can hear a seed of songwriting that would sprout with Rubber Soul. Yesterday, in my opinion, is the song that put them on that path, and it's a beautiful song. I only have a problem with the tracklisting, like how Dizzy Miss Lizzy comes right after Yesterday. 6 - Magical Mystery Tour. I love this album a lot but it kinda feels like a wannabe Sgt. Peppers in some parts. It's not the the extent of King Crimson's In The Wake Of Poseidon trying to be In The Court Of The Crimson King, but it certainly gives off the vibe. What's cool about this album is they kinda revisited their early pop sound with their newfound musicality (look at Hello, Goodbye). 5 - A Hard Day's Night. For me it ranks high because personally it just has a lot of nostalgia. But what's great is that this is probably their best pop album, musically. They had a plethora of dramatic sounding bridges and some dark sounding songs. They definitely grew with this album. 4 - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Great album, though I do think there is a lot of filler. Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields should've been on it. 3 - Abbey Road. Absolute classic! The medley on side 2 goes through so many different moods, from a gloomy to a jammy to an immensely powerful ending. I do think songs like Maxwell's Silver Hammer and Octopus's Garden kinda kill the seriousness of the album (but I'll just stop there because I don't wanna get killed). 2 - Revolver. Definitely their transitional album. Songs like Eleanor Rigby, I'm Only Sleeping, She Said She Said, and Tomorrow Never Knows are probably the pioneers of the sound to Sgt. Peppers. 1 - Rubber Soul. I had a hard time choosing between this and Revolver, but I love the songwriting here more. This album is just packed with masterpieces, and it serves as a change of pace for their direction.
Let it be is my special Beatles album got it for Christmas. A great memory of listening to it on Christmas morning with my parents who are gone now. Every time I play it I think of them. Thanks Pete

Always found it amazing that all of these albums came out within 7 years, they crammed an entire varied experimental genre bending world dominating, journeyed musical career into less that a Decade, those who say they’re overrated have no idea what they’re talking about.. ps love the videos Pete keep up the good work 🤘
I've always thought Let It Be is underrated. It's raw and rockin. It's in my top 5
It’s in my top 3!
The early and touring years 1962-65
Experimental studio years 1966-68
Final back to the roots years 68-70
So, depending on my own mood depends on what my favorite.
But, as you mentioned the different albums, the more I wanted to jump into those albums right away. As always, great list and great subject.
Thanks, Pete
SAME BRO! i'm nearly 20 and recently found out how legendary they were, i mean they still legends
Frank will bring us all together.
I remember back in the day our radio station would have Stones vs The Beatles nights where listeners would call in there fav Stones or Beatles songs. It was a blast to listen to.
Hey, come on! :-) It's Ginger, no contest. Ginger was hot!
@@shanewright2772 Mary Ann for me ...
Maybe Pete should rank all of Zappa's albums.... or maybe not, since he put out over 60 albums during his lifetime!
Thank you Pete for your program. I enjoy it all the time. May you and your family also be safe! Thanks!
Fave guy.
It would probably be 5 for me and that would be Zeppelin, Beatles, the Who, Pink Floyd, and Steely Dan. ELO definitely in my top 10 and Rush probably as well.
Great job on this one, Pete. I agree about the Beatles being able to give us a lift!
And.....It all depends on how I feel at any time which is my favourite. Whatever my mood or what's going on in my life, there is a Beatles album that fits what I need.
@@jimandlizhudson2501 with this horrible virus gripping the entire world,i am playing back to back Beatles all day today, ending with Come Together, because one day, that huge party will take place and I'll play The Beatles all day THAT day too.
By tonight I'll be fully charged and happy with my lot.

2. White Album
3. SGT. Peppers
4. Revolver
5. Rubber Soul
6. Magical Mystery Tour
7. Let it Be
8. Help
9. A Hard Days Night
10. With the Beatles
11. Please Please Me
12. Beatles for Sale
Great job Pete. My top 3 can change because I can definitely make a case for anyone of them to be my favorite. The Beatles don’t have any weak albums.Super high quality all they way through.
EXCELLENT RANKING!!!!
Thanks Pete!!!! This was so uplifting and encouraging. I needed to hear this, this morning. I was feeling like "I'm Down". Now I'm feeling "It's getting better".
Mine is slightly different:
1 A Hard Days Night
2 Rubber Soul
3 Revolver
4 The Beatles
5 Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
6 Abbey Road
7 Magical Mystery Tour
8 Let It Be
9 Help!
10 Please, Please Me
11 With the Beatles
12 Beatles for Sale
I like all of them, but as I've gotten older I find the first 2 albums get the most play. I like the raw, live sound of 4 kids rocking out.
That 2nd LP is sadly very underrated. My favorite early LP and my 5th choice over all. A great collection of Soul, Rock and Roll and Pop. Seamless! Love Georges first great song- 'Don't bother me' and no weak tunes IMHO!
@AWelsh Celt totally agree
Pete
Thank you for your words and for the positive vibrations you send.
We need people like you to be able to pass through this crisis.

The greatest band -- musically, sociologically, culturally. Period, the end.
YES! NO QUESTIONS ASKED
The last four years Beatle's songs were awesome. Superb.
and in the end,the Beatles are still there.
Not so sure about "musically, sociologically, culturally."
But "commercial and creative at the same time". UnBeatable.
Without Beatles no Rock n Roll evolution past the early seventies.
This group.....simply mind boggling...50 years from now, people will still be talking about their importance, their impact, and the love of their music.
Pete, I went back and watched this again today. Over a year ago. Really great. Loved your advice. You're a good person. Thanks.
Thanks for a great channel and great content!
My Fav before I see what Pete has to say:
Revolver
My fave before I watch Pete has to tell, Revolver my number one.
Yes. This is the correct answer (before seeing Pete's choice)
I also choose Revolver for no 1. Not sure how I rank the rest. Rubber Soul is really good too.

hi Pete ... good one 👍🏻 ... thanks for doing extra stuff ... hopefully it will help all of us to get through these times ... 🤟🏻✌🏻🤞🏻
That’s funny I also didn’t get into the Beatle’s until my 30’s and I am 51.
@@mauharley name the filler.
One of your best shows Pete for many reasons. The Beatles rock, and your list was spot on.

Bobby Bishop Actually, the Beatles was the first progressive rock band in history

Abbey Road is the best album of all time!!!
I agree. A masterpiece.
Agree, it has everything! it's rocking, witty, heavy, somber, lovely and has 2 medleys! Just Fantastic, it was the 1st album I ever purchased with my own money and has been in the #1 spot ever since.
It's up there -- especially the medley on Side 2.
In my top five for sure.
Revolver
Pete, I like your reviews and I think you are a good person. You are a comfort in these troubling times.
Here’s my ranking from my favorite band of all time (I don’t think there’s a single bad album):
13. Yellow Submarine (again, not a bad album by any means, however half of it are Beatles songs, and the other half is the George Martin film score.)
12. With The Beatles (this is another solid album, but it’s always been my least favorite early Beatles album.)
11. Please Please Me (underrated debut album that’s really strong.)
10. Beatles For Sale (even more underrated content, but I listen to this album quite a bit.)
9. A Hard Day’s Night (such a great improvement from their first two. Also, great movie.)
8. Help! (always has been my favorite early Beatles album, great movie as well.)
7. Let It Be (I know a lot of people would say this album was disappointing, however I really like it a lot.)
6. Rubber Soul (really, in my opinion, where they got interesting. Such a great album.)
5. Magical Mystery Tour (such a great album with many favorites of mine.)
4. Revolver (literally a masterpiece from start to finish, not a bad song on here.)
3. The White Album (one of my favorite, if not, my favorite double album of all time, it goes by fast for me because it’s such a classic.)
2. Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band (the very first album I have ever listened to, and has stuck with me ever since.)
Dig channel very much this video in particular was just great this morning yes the Beatles are exactly what the WORLD needs positivity and uplifting thoughts and wonderful music. Thank you Pete!
My favorite stat about the Beatles is when they broke up they were all still in there 20s that's incredible
Yep the two oldest Ringo and John were still 29
And this is why you cannot compare them to The Rolling Stones thank you very much!

Although I love a lot of today's music, it isn't uncommon for a band to go 5 years between albums now. The Beatles did what they did, had their impact on the world and music, in these 7 incredible years of their discography. They changed everything.
Absolutely. In 7 years, the Beatles essentially released 25 years of groundbreaking work.
Thanks for this, Pete. Your usual impeccable musical judgment to the fore and a reminder that there is such a thing as music for all time - and it has the power to heal and console even in the time we’re going through. Much love, and keep the faith.

Take care.
Nice story
The Beatles recorded more albums in one decade then Michael Jackson, my hero, did in nearly half a century! This fact is doubly incredible when you consider the immense quality of their output. Not a bad apple in the bunch. (Revolver is my personal favorite, and in general I prefer the later, more rock n roll records.)
Their contract with EMI was for 2 albums and 3 singles a year, unheard of these days.
Your use of “solo” is not really correct, but agree otherwise
@@brianfergus839 No I didn't. I wasn't including J5 records, which would bring the MJ studio albums to 25, making my statement wrong, since than he would have recorded more albums that the Beatles as a single entity, as some MJ fans draw no distinction between the two, for some reason.
Pete-Thank you for your great videos! I particularly enjoy your “Ranking the Albums” series. Regardless where you rank my favorites, I appreciate your thoughts and insights into why you rank each album as you do. Your love and enthusiasm for music clearly comes through in your videos and you have inspired to me to revisit artists that I have overlooked like Wishbone Ashe, Rush, UFO, King Crimson and so many others. Please keep up the good work!
My favorite Beatles era is from the very beginning of their experiments with psychedelia with Rubber Soul and Revolver, through the height of their psych/boroque pop period: Magical Mystery Tour.
Six months on. The happy mood of your videos is as important as ever. Keep up the good work!
In my younger day I preferred the newer stuff (Back in the USSR, etc.). Now I prefer the older work,
but it's all great.

Good message sir! Music is some of the best medicine we have. Please keep posting - we need it brother!
Thanks!
I can't go to work, I'm separated from family and I'm stuck at home - Hey Pete, how about doing a list of "Feel Good" songs?
I'm glad you talked about this vid in your livestream, because I did not get a notification for this one. I've gotten notifications for everything else, as far as I can tell. Weird - especially considering that The Beatles are my NUMBER ONE favorite band OAT.
1. Sgt. Pepper
2. Abbey Road
3. White album
4. Revolver
5. Rubber Soul/ Let it Be
In my case exactly in other direction haha
If I could rank the later period Beatles albums, here would be my ranking
1. Abbey Road
2. White Album
3. Revolver
4. Sgt Pepper
5. Let It Be

Let It Be is one of their worst
@@thevfxmancolorizationvfxex4051 I love Sgt. Pepper and I think it's a great record. A Day in the Life is my favorite Beatles song. Just have a really strong personal connection to it. Abbey Road is also a great record. Not really sure how you can say 1 has more effort or passion over the other unless you were there during the recording sessions.
@@IAmisMaster I disagree. I think its great.
Thanks Pete for all your videos and commentaries. Great stuff ! Hats off to all the essential services workers.
Revolver is, imo, the greatest album ever made.
Thanks Pete
