I know why they have the views they have. What I show is super accurate & detailed and a lot of people might prefer simpler ways.... but I stay true to my standards and I know the few people that watch will benefit :)
I can't tell you how many videos I watched before I landed on yours and finally found what I was looking for. Not only one way but 3 ways! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I am going to watch the advertising so that you can buy your sewing notions. This will have to be my Patreon/kofi for now. Hoping to have nice clothes for work next year.👍
Karina, I watch every video…that’s how much I respect you. You are so valued by your followers for these tech talks. I noticed I like the bling too. Can’t wait to see what you made with the gold metallic linen.
This video is exactly what I needed today before I sew a hood to my softshell jacket….I have never done that before and now I know how to do it. Thanks a lot. I will look in to your other videos another day, looking forward to that 😊
exactly what I've been searching for, thank you so much! I made a first version of the Mile End hoodie by Closet Core, but I really wasn't happy with how it's (not) finished on the inside. I looked at the ready-to-wear hoodies I have and noticed they have that binding at the seam inside the hoodie and to connect to the body, but I wasn't sure how to recreate that, so I'm very glad I found your video! ☺
Dear Karina, I have struggled to understand how to finish a hoodie with twill tape and now thanks to your wonderfully detailed, close up tutorial, I finally get it! Thank you so much, I get you made this one over a year ago and probably won't see the comment, but I am positive you helped me and will help countless others who need this visual demonstration. Thank you so much!
I absolutely loved this video. Many channels show a quick way to do something and don't point out the problems - I have made things which didn't hold up. Your channel is so educational and inspiring. Who knows, perhaps someone will be more confident after watching. Thank you, Thank you.
Karina, I appreciate you so much for doing these videos. I have been sewing for over 50 yrs and love that you share so much with us. I am always ready to learn. I will try the alternate method many times in my sewing life. Keep it up!! 😍😊😍
Perfect timing of this video. I was sewing exactly that a hooded top. I did just like you said and my project came out amazing. All I have to finish is sleeve band and bottom waist band. My pattern didn't have a zipper. I have a different hooded pattern that will have a zipper and now I'm confident I will sew jacket perfectly.👍😊
I LOVE your videos! I have auditory processing issues, which can cause issues with adverbs, but I break out my hearing aids for yours ❤ I did want to suggest chapters! In these videos with multiple steps/types/tips, bring able to click on specific chapters is really useful
I feel like you're keeping me company while I"m sewing. Sometimes I'm not paying strict attention, but I know that there will be a time when I need to use this technique and I'll be so grateful to go through it step-by-step,. Thank you so much!
As always beautiful work i i just did my first sweat shirt and put a pice of fabric ove the neck area cause I didn’t have twill tape it came out pretty nice for my first try 👍 thank you Karina for all the amazing tips
Love this video with all the different ways to approach a hoodie. Definitely one I’ll watch numerous times. I usually use a silk tie to bind my edge for a pop of color. Thanks Karina for your instructions and attention to detail. You and Whitney at Tomkat Stitchery are my go to gals for my kind of sewing and looks. 💕💕
Can I just say that you are an inspiration ❤️. I have learned so much and have become a much better sewist thanks to your videos. I used to follow a channel where person isn't even really bothered if things don't look perfect but following you now I can see how important it is. I am very particular about how I want things to look and you have made that possible for me. Thank you so much.
Karina, this video was timed perfectly for me. I just started making the kids hoodie by Love Notions for my grandson for Christmas. Your ideas of using the burrito method to attach the hood are so helpful. Thank you!
Thank you!!!! 💐Awesome visuals and explanation! 👍 P.S. I have sewn hoods before (long ago) but for some reason I got...."brain fart" and for the life of me, I just couldn't figure out how to attach/sew in lined hood to the rest of the garment (also lined). 😖😵💫😊
I don’t know why these videos aren’t popular; they are fabulous. Thank you ❤

This video is so exciting to me!! I never thought to use the burrito method on a hood (or hem band). And I totally will do it all the time now!
It’s actually super fun and so much faster and easier :)
Thanks!
Thank you so much!
How do i remove the hood and then make a collar
It’s not something I can explain in a comment here. The change is too big. I’d look for a pattern with no hood if that’s what you really want.
I'm here becoz all the other hood makers talked too much...
