I kept diaries pretty consistently througout my life. Wrote almost daily In a diary from ages 5 till 13 . Then started again at 15 till the end of highshool. Stopped . Then from 21 onward I've kept a multiple journals I write in everyday and it's so reliveing . Journals and diaries are amazing. It's a very good habit to form
I want your confidence. I would never have the confidence to read my diary out loud, much less recording a video doing it, and uploading it to the internet, where thousands of people could see it.
The things we write as children shows how melodramatic we were and thought the whole world was irksome. I got a diary for Christmas, it had my name monogrammed on the front, I had asked for it at 9 and my sister WAS annoying, because she hid it hours after I got it and hadn't even written in it. Yeah, we don't speak anymore and never got on. I remember writing I wanted to be the leader of the country and save all the animals.
At the back of one of my diaries from when I was 12-13 ish there was a page dedicated to my crush but every time I got a new crush I would just cross out that heart with the name and put the new one 😅 the page got full very very quickly 😂😂
i can imagine my older self reading my current diary full of venting abt being bullied haha.. oh wait what if im not even alive in the future.... life sucks, im sick of it

I started a diary when I was 13 then when I was 14 I ended it for awhile then I found it again as a 16yr old and shredded it cuz I said some stuff that I could NEVER tell anyone else soooooo ya now it’s long gone
