My husband literally called me at his bachelor party, drunk out of his mind, telling me he missed me and he was going to go play videogames with his friends and that he loved me and he'd see me the next day lol. His friends had to get on the phone and tell me that they know he loves me but he has to go (jokingly) because it was no girls allowed lmao.
We also had someone ask us if he'd smash cake in my face at our wedding and I, straightfaced, said "if he does I'm annulling the marriage". He also knew this prior to the wedding even happening and he said "are you kidding me? I'm not messing up all the effort you're going to put in your hair and makeup" I love that man

Awww, you hubby sounds so sweet. Mine did go to a strip club snd didn’t mind. He kept his hands to himself and just watched. He is actually quite square so this was a lot for him. They also went to dinner and other places not strip club related since they had a limo. He came home and at a fairly reasonable time I think around 1 or 2 am…and he cuddled me, kissed me and told me how much he loves me and said he couldn’t wait to marry me.

And then there are those like my sister who told him not to smear cake in her face, and then did it to him. She, of course got her comeuppance (for which she started to throw a fit, until our mother took her aside and read her the riot act). They've just celebrated over 55 years together, last month.

    The champagne spraying:
The England cricket team sprayed each other with champagne after a victory, but before they did, they had the one Muslim player on the team take photos with them. Then, once they had done this, he stepped away. They respected his religion and made sure that he would not be put in a situation, where he would have to come into contact with alcohol.
Once he was a safe distance away, the spraying began.
The point is, that it is all about consent and respect.

My wife ( love saying that ) eloped to Italy last month. The amount of effort that she had to put in to get ready for our day, hours with hair stylist, makeup artist etc was crazy. To think that I'd then ruin that by spraying her with alcohol or doing the cake smearing over her face is wild. One, I value my life. Two, it's childish and incredibly selfish. Can we as men agree to be done with these outbursts. I love my wife and wanted her to feel beautiful for our day for the WHOLE DAY.

A coworker showed me pictures of a wedding she attended. The groom's ex showed up, uninvited. The pictures were the brides grandma and the grooms grandma chasing the ex out of the venue with a broom and a mop. Believe me when I say that those Grandma's were not holding back. After that the groom had a special dance with each grandma. The pictures of those dances were adorable. The Grandma's had the biggest smile on their faces.

On the last video where the bride forgot the ring, reminded me of a wedding where I was a bridesmaid, and just as everyone got to the front, the maid of honor turned to the bridesmaid behind her and whispered that she forgot the ring, but the ring is in her car and the keys were in her purse. That message got passed to the bridesmaid behind her and the bridesmaids behind her, telephone game style. Finally, they tell me, the last bridesmaid in the lineup. I then get the attention of a friend in the crowd and pass the message onto her. Like a good friend she ran to go look for it, only problem is, she didn’t know what the maid of honor drove nor where her purse was. 😂
While waiting for my friend to perform the impossible task of finding the purse and car, I was literally wringing my hands around my bouquet. Suddenly, I realized that I was wearing a ring (just jewelry, not a wedding ring). I slipped it off and passed it to the bridesmaid in front of me and whispered that it was just in case we didn’t find the ring. Up the line of bridesmaids, my ring and message was passed. When it came time for the bride to put the groom’s ring on, they slipped my ring on him. It barely made it past the first knuckle. 😂 The bride then held his hand in a way that no one could tell. Immediately following the ceremony, the maid of honor, retrieved the ring, and everyone had their own ring back . Despite this initial minor hiccup, the couple has been married almost 20 years, and still going strong!

In their culture the brides family must harrass the groom until he pays them off to gain the hand of the bride in marriage. It's a cultural practice in some african countries. And even though it's something of a fading tradition, the dresses are expensive so it can sometimes be more practical to have the groom there to discuss expenses and stuff, it's clearly one the bride wanted to follow. The MIL is old enough to have seen that tradition before too.

We dated for 5 months, engaged for 10 months, married for 15 years now w/ 2 kids. When you know, you know. Don't beg. If you have to do that then they are not worth it. All they are telling you is, "you aren't worth it to me." Find the one you are worth it for. My husband didn't have a 'stag night', he went to his best friends house and played Halo for several hours. I didn't have a 'hen night', I watched movies with my best friend at her house with her new baby. To me, a 'last hurrah' just tells them they aren't worth the commitment.

    • @FrankskinOrweed-ep4ij

A last hurrah via hens&stag do’s could also just mean for some ppl that it’s their last big night out not yet tied down with the soon to be duties of being a wife/husband and likely a parent of kids!!
You almost enjoy that last taste of ‘freedom’ although I don’t suggest it means you’re in anyway still ‘single’. But u are making it ‘official’, I’m sure some enjoy them as nice reflections on the past with loved ones like ur simple movie night too!

The wedding with everyone wearing white is a Nigerian party. In Nigeria, there’s usually an asoebi (fabric specifically picked for family, friends and guests); sometimes the couple could decide on a colour code for the guests.
Wearing white isn’t usually a big deal in Nigerian weddings, and you’re supposed to come in your best outfits. That’s a requirement. Makeup, hair/headgear, nails, outfit and accessories should be on point.

Edit: the tiktokker who commented that he was acting like a frat boy hit the nail on the head. It’s such immature behavior.

Charlotte… you offering to contribute to this girls wedding dress is so beautiful. You don’t even know her. I just want you to know, this is exactly why I follow you. Your kindness. You seem so genuine. I hope you keep that always. Such a blessing to get to see you make positive impacts on others. Thanks for posting.

When we got engaged we were so poor. He was just an E1 in the Navy. That’s about $350 a month. He asked me to marry him with a Princess Pride 2ct ring from the Navy Exchange. 37 years latter he replaced it with a 4.6ct Ascher cut diamond. But ya know, I still wear my little Princess Pride ring nearly every day.

In the Nigerian video were they wore white, the lady that seem disruptive is a member of their family and it's a tradition.
The man is supposed to drop money or something.
Once it was paid, you could see people telling her it was okay.
The sister of the groom went online to explain the whole situation because it causes quite a stir online in Nigeria.

I work at a wedding venue in Utah and I am shocked by the amount of wedding guests that show up to weddings wearing full white dresses! So many! It’s been to the point where I saw someone in a sparkly white dress and I was like “OMG the brides so pretty!” It was not, in fact, the bride. But at least I’ve never seen a bride upset at all by it.

If you want marriage and he loves you, you will either be engaged super quick or broken up super quick. No man who loves you and has your best interests at heart is going to string you along for years.

Not always true. My husband and I were together 5 years before he proposed and we were 29 when we met. I was getting antsy and telling him to propose or break up; I didn't know he'd already commissioned a custom ring be made.
We've been married 14 years, together for 19.
Yes, traditionally it happens in a year or two but not always longer means he doesn't want to.
But a person should never flat out beg.

19:51 Dated a guy who got upset with me because I didn’t want to have kids with him outside of marriage. He told me he didn’t believe in marriage it was just paper. I explain to him that marriage is very important to me. He told me he would get married to his soulmate. But wanted to have kids with me. 7 years later I’m happily single, no kids. I’m sure one day I’ll get married to the man of my dreams and have two kids like I’ve always wanted. Don’t settle for less you deserve all the best ♥️

@@Sunshineattacks3I was a single mom for 10 years. I will tell you, men had no problem with me having a kid but the way I have heard multiple women talk about men with kids, I would argue the complete opposite. Women don't want to deal with baby momma drama. Single women with children are more likely ( like in my case) to have a child that is completely abandoned by the other parent... no drama
