I cannot tell you the excitement I felt when my husband got back from deployment. It was like midnight and I was holding myself back as they did their little ceremony being back(like an official welcome home) and as soon as he was released, coming down the row between chairs, I absolutely LAUNCHED myself at him. I was latched like a leech!
Also, cute note, when his unit had a meeting the next day one of his NCO's was doing a speech with his twin girls latched to his legs, even walking back and forth. It was the cutest thing ever.

Hey, I’m not in the heterosexual dating scene so I cannot speak from experience, and I absolutely do not think that paying for someone (for anything) entitles people to sex!
I do wish to question you when you said “turns out he only cares about sex” cause I just wonder if that is actually true. Is it possible that for some (at least some men and maybe women too) sex might be associated with other feelings/emotions? Could it be possible that some men might want intimacy and have been taught to associate sex with intimacy (I don’t think it’s unfair to say that men aren’t (or haven’t been) generally taught to be emotionally intimate). Also, even if the statement was true, I might suggest looking to the social/structural factors which enable that sort of view/perspective on sex and dating (especially in consumer cultures). I believe it is extremely difficult to make change without understanding first (and I would like to see that expectation changed)

guys that expect sex in exchange for a meal ..are a real walking red flag.. you go on dates to know whom you are getting close to.. if you just wanted to "hit it" then there's people that can help you with that, it's not a woman's duty.. OMG real, coz just last Saturday night, a guy I would like to call a friend called me to invite me and my friends coz he wanted to hung out and drink, mind you this not the first time he asked me out but I had been turning him down coz I didn't feel safe alone with him. Now we drink dance and I decided to go back home with my friends. He wouldn't let me go he wanted me to stay and go back home with him ,I rejected he kept calling coz I think he thought I would sleep with him as appreciation. He even popped up at my hostel room last night saying how disappointed he was that left and tried to be too touchy and giving hints, I told him no. He left

The first one reminds me of hair school. One of the girls cut her hair short. It looked so good. Her and I had a similar face shape so she inspired me to cut my hair. I was always so scared it wouldn’t look good. She caught me looking at pics of short hair and asked if I was copying her. I thought she was joking. She wasn’t. She spread rumours about me to my classmates which isolated me, and started bullying me online. People need to grow up. Nothing is original.
Funniest part is that she SUPER regrets having short hair and I still love my short hair so much.

Well, she was dating a classmate that I was friends with and she spread rumors around High School that I was trying to "Steal" her man. Yeah, that didn't last long.

I don't like my job, I've only ever tolerated them to get me the things I need to literally survive. I'm aware that my job can and will screw me over at a moments notice if it saves term a single dollar. If I'm dating someone, I like them. I trust them and I don't want to hurt them. If I stop liking them, why.... would I stay with them? I don't gain anything from a loveless relationship.

I've never been in a relationship yet but it is my firm belief that cheating should never be tolerated. If you feel inclined or start to have feelings for another while in a committed relationship, break up with your current one because they deserve better. @@FukaiKokoroI’m not in the heterosexual dating scene so I cannot speak from experience (and I absolutely do not agree with the idea that anyone is owed sex) but I might suggest looking at the “DELULU” systems/structures which enable those types of expectations to be perpetuated instead of just blaming some guys. For example, does a consumeristic culture in any way affect how people view dating (are dates seen as transactional maybe)? Also, I wonder if these sorts of issues occur in homosexual dating (either at all or at similar rates), I haven’t been able to find anything that says but there could just be a lack of data/research

Also, gross to assume a dinner = sex. Specially on a first date.

Also most of the time I discuss going Dutch BEFORE the date and you would be astounded at the amount of men who get offended, because I think it takes that transactional leverage away and they are still hoping to get laid for a dinner. Sigh

One thing about this is that I always pay for myself. When I let you pay, that says A LOT. I do not ever let other people do something for me if I do not like them. Sometimes, even if I do like them, I don't let them pay for me or make myself owe them something. I have too much trust issues.

If you want to wear press-on nails and you're scared of them popping off, get some gel basecoat and a UV light and use the basecoat as glue. Just coat your nail like normal in the basecoat (but a thin layer) and press the nail in place, wipe away any basecoat that squeezes out, and while holding the nail in place, set it with the UV light. Nail glue is very brittle because it's porous, but gel basecoat is strong as hell.
And if you get a good gel topcoat to put on top, they won't wear down as fast and the polish will stay fresh looking longer.
NO. THIS IS A HORRIBLE IDEA. Gel cannot cure fully under a nail that’s already been painted on due to the UV light not being able to fully go through the color. Please do not suggest this to people. Leaving uncured gel can lead you to some NASTY problems.
Yes, seconding the other comment. This works for clear, unpainted nails that you are going to paint after attaching with the gel polish. But it often doesn't work with nails that have already painted. Also, good nail glue applied the eight way lasts for at least a week, I often get a minimum of two weeks with the glue I get from Sally's Beauty Supply. Any more than two weeks, and the nails are usually starting to break down and need to be taken off any way.
But the gel top coat over the already painted nails is a fantastic tip, and something I have been doing for a very long time.
