Well said Elli. Nothing beats the Mobius C2 for form factor and image quality. Not talking about image size or frame rate, just how good it looks.

Looks like a fair bit of rocking. I think I'd put a Zohd flight controller in it and use self-leveling for photography. Great video as always.

Just ordered one of these as my first wing! Been flying fpv miniquads for years, but want to add to my fleet. Hoping it flies as smooth as it looks! Thanks for the great video and review.
I too am transitioning some gear from a quad to this wing. Have you flown it yet?
@@2strokeme64 I have... It ummm... didn't go well. XD Being unfamiliar with fixed wings, I accidentally setup the autopilot system in the FC backwards, and so when I threw it with launch assist on it just rolled over inverted and took a nose dive. I'm working on repairing it, but without ever having flown a wing before, the launch assist mode is awesome as long as you set it up right. Wings are tricky to learn how to fly though.
@@RimmyTimfpv ouch, well I hope I get it right. I'm pretty familiar with betaflight but never used inav. I'll have to do some homework
@@2strokeme64 The one i came with had its own proprietary ZOHD flight controller with a little control joystick thing, no USB for BF or iNav. So if yours comes with that you could just try that out. I'm sure a more complete FC will give you extra things like OSD and RTH arrow in the screen. Either way, if you've never flown a wing before, double triple quadruple check that your control surfaces move in the right direction with your roll and pitch stick, and also that your control surfaces move the right way when in autolevel mode to compensate for being tossed around... I had the first one right, but I had the second one wrong.
@@RimmyTimfpv I'm putting the matek f-722 wing FC in it, gps etc. I should be ok with flying it, flew fixed wing glow powered planes for years before hitting hooked on fpv quad copters. Although I have hooked ailerons up backwards before and piled a brand new plane into a heap of toothpicks...lol

Beautiful pics Andrew ! See any whales out there ?? Nice seeing that big Wedgy going over the top. We get a nice look at them hovering on the sharp edges at Smiths beach Pi. They can be so still in the air on the Cliff like a kite and then bank off at 60 knots down the line. Wonderful stuff.
No whales, a few "poly waffles" maybe. Water treatment plant nearby
Nice looking wing, unusual being swept forward, in the real world they had problems making them strong enough for aerobatic flying, and prone to flapping at higher speeds,

I get visited very regularly by eagles, Hawks, and Owls?? they come, they look, as soon as they figure they cant eat the model, they just do laps as they soar away no longer interested, on one occasion I had a dozen hawks? raptor types anyway, all circling 3 meters above me
(I didn't know they flocked? but they did!) checking my models as the models sat on the ground,
there is a bird sanctuary not too far from the field where I fly and a Lake, so the hawks/eagles can get food, rabbits, nesting birds lakeside and Snakes! Not to mention Pellicons, seagulls Crows, Magpies, Ibis,
I believe the Big Eagles come from the Otway's a few K's away.
First time I have seen a wedge tail here, so impressive
Such a great plane! I fly with a 4S 5,200 mAh multistar and get over 40 minute flight times and incredible range!

@@AndrewNewton Wow, I figured you watched BonafidePirate's vids. That's were I learned about the plane and the battery from. Also on the RC Groups forum for the plane there are people flying it with Ginormous Lithium Ion batteries and getting 2 hour plus flight times.

Yes would be fine. Would need a stopper to prevent prop folding over the mid line while at rest

I'm not aware of the 2024 version. But you could fit 3 Caddx Vistas side by side in the nose

Rentap FPV , hope it doesn’t take a month or more from them, like my radiomaster tx16s, more than a month after I ordered it on preorder it it’s only recently been sent, but it’s still supposedly stuck at the same international departure point after about 4 days, no new updates as yet.

Hey Andrew, You fly lots of planes but what is your goto plane? One that you fly all the time - if you have one.
Ranger 1600 is my favourite all rounder. Tigermoth for scale flying. Phoenix Evolution for thermals. Phoenix 1600 for sloping.

How do you compare the dart xle with the rambler?
Very similar flight. Dart XL is a bit tougher, Rambler has more internal space.

Hello Andrew I have gotten a second kopilot and it must be something I am doing wrong because when I switch to stability mode I have almost no controll. It takes forever to make a turn or to climb. I was hoping you could steer me in the right direction. I watch all your videos,especially the zohd ones.
Need to increase your throws so that Manual flies well on 50% rates, then use 100% rates for Stabilised
You have to set it to fly good in manual mode first, then set up stability mode. I think it was painless 360 that has a really good video on how to do it. Look for his latest video on how to set it up, because his previous video was confusing some people. In his newer one he breaks it down much more simply.

How does this compare to the talon gt?
Similar but the Talon GT is faster and a bit more efficient but less stable (compared to the V1 Dart XL)
