    After a stressful afternoon this was so relaxing to listen to while I stitched with you! I will definitely be looking for more of your videos!

    I absolutely love stitching with you Teresa. This peace you are doing now is going to be beautiful, I am looking forward to seeing that done in the future. It is lovely to listen to your voice, accent and your manner of speaking. Obviously, you haven't been lucky with your "socket runners", and I really feel for you. I hope things don't break anymore. 💖

    LOL! You made me smile today. I to, told someone I heard a noise - AND was mocked! This happened to us back in March 2018. My Dad was able to fix it. Best wishes with your new computer.

    Girl- I'm a CONTRACTOR, as in I have a construction degree and have been out in the field and in the industry for over 15 years now (I've even been working as an electrical subcontractor for the last almost 7 years now), and guys STILL don't believe me, even when I speak the jargon. Not to be crude, but sometimes it's because we have chesticles and not testicles. smh. Shame really.

    Teresa, .love your podcast. You have such interesting stories to tell. I sat here chuckling away as anybody who has been married for awhile can chuckle. Loved the I told you so moment. What a comedy of errors.💖😄😏

    Loved stitching along with you! Your story about the noise in the utility room was great. You’re right, we spend a lit of time in our laundry rooms so we do know if something is making a funny sound. Hope you got it fixed and it wasn’t too expensive.

    I love when the I told you so comes about. They never think we know anything.Sorry about your monitor fiasco. That is so crazy especially for that little bit of price difference that you even sad you would pay for. Geeze. Thanks for the fun video. Happy stitching and hope you have no more problems.

    Thank you for all of your floss tubes! They always make me more informed, very much inspired and in such a light mood. I thought I had caught up with all your floss tubes but somewhere along the line I missed ... why do you cut your threads on the front side? What happens to those?
    Thank you 🙏 for your time and good humor.🥰
    I feel like we are friends.

      Hi Linda thank you for your lovely message. So when I am recording, rather than keep turning the project to end threads I end on the front of the project a block or 2 away. Then as I stitch the next block that then secures the thread that is run down the back to where I left the thread hanging out on the front - basically it is do what you would do if you flipped it over and end on the back. When I cover the next block with stitches I will cut the thread on the front as it is now secure - hope that makes sense. Happy stitching!

    I just had to chuckle through your whole story, because it's so true. The Y chromosomes never want to hear what we have to say. Although when it turns that what I've said was true, I don't say I told you so. I just shake my head. See you in the next video.

    Hi Teresa, so very sorry to hear what happened about the pump - if you can afford it at all, I would pick up a spare one when you can as you never know! I use my laptop at my dining room table and if the washer/dryer is going, I lose a touch of power to it. Annoying as all get out! Hope your new monitor & computer get all sorted out & thank you for making these videos as I know it's not easy for you. :) Laura

    You sound much more relaxed today, sew glad you decided to do another stitch along☺.Can I ask where you got the fabric from please? I've been meaning to ask how your mum is? Glad you were right about the noises. Why do men think women are daft? It used to really annoy me with my ex husband lol. Isn't a shame you couldn't work from home every week? Hope all your troubles are behind you and that you can have a trouble free week. Take care

    Theresa, I love stitching with you! Got a question... when you park your threads, do you park only in the grid to the right or the one directly under, or a combination of both? I am fascinated by this method of stitching grid by grid.

    • @TeresaLittleStitcher
      @TeresaLittleStitcher  4 роки тому

      Hey Lori! As you know I love to say it.... there are no hard and fast rules on this - just personal preference. I will always park directly underneath the grid I am stitching, but if the symbol is not in the next couple of square I will look to the right - if that makes sense.

    • @TeresaLittleStitcher
      @TeresaLittleStitcher  3 роки тому +1

      I use these lenses www.amazon.co.uk/Mag-Eyes-Magnifier-Dark-Green/dp/B000WUXOEM #2 & #4 as the other lenses are no good. Then you just need the mag eye head band - I can't find a link for that right now, but you can see it in the link to the lenses

      @@TeresaLittleStitcher hiya, thank you 🙂 for coming back to me. I will go and find these. I started stitching back in 1994 and stopped due to events going on in 2009 until now. On finding your videos you have inspired me and I have my stitching bug back ☺ and I'm binge watching your videos. I thought my stitching days had been taken away from me for good. You have sparked life back into stitching for me, only issue I have discovered is my eyes aren't what they used to be, hearing you mention mageyes opened another option - thank you 💕

    Will you lose some detail if you get the Mini instead of the full version?

    • @TeresaLittleStitcher
      @TeresaLittleStitcher  4 роки тому +1

      Hi there - well I have done QS and standard and I don't see the difference - people say you lose a little of the depth detail but I am yet to see it personally.

    • @jarebjared8

    how do you do your blocks Diagonal ?

    • @TeresaLittleStitcher
      @TeresaLittleStitcher  3 роки тому

      Hey Grace! Try not to think of it as diagonal stitching. What i am doing is so much more simple than lol! All I am doing is staggering the block of 10 x 10 across the page until I get to a page finish where I finish the page, then start all over again :) I find it gives me a change in colour more frequently and easier for me to see where my 10 x 10 block is if that makes sense. So if starting a new project or page (i always start in the top left corner) I will do say block 1 move to the next block to the right and stitch that which then gives me a block look of 20 stitches across and 10 stitches down. At this point I will go stitch back underneath block 1 doing the 10 x 10 block. That will start the staggered blocks. From this point I will just go back to the top start the next block along and then move down and across to the left to stitch under that block and so on. - does that make sense?

    Husbands!!! Our water heater was leaking and I got called a plumber and am having a new one put in on Tuesday. OTHERWISE, my husband would try to fix it himself, call a friend over put a patch on it and very soon it would break anyway (probably in the middle of my shower!) and we wouldn’t have hot water for a week. Not gonna chance it. I earn my “own” money and paid for it, so we don’t fight over money too! 😡😭😳😲🙄😁
