will the white indicator light come on if you attach to a car battery even if it doesnt need to be boosted? the reason im asking is bc we recently had -40 degree weather and it killed my car, i purchased this but never seen after the weather warmed up if my car would start; so i just automatically boosted it without checking first. So I am curious about that if you would know?

No its not a charger as such or battery reconditioner. Its a boost pack to transfering voltage to get you going for emergency use.
