CORRECTION to Mountain Thane numbers - in this video I say Mountain Thane is 6.6% ahead in AoE, but that's the amount of AoE Thane gains from these buffs. Mountain Thane should be at least 10% ahead of Slayer on consistent AoE after these changes.

The Thunderous Roar and Odyn's Fury target cap nerfs, Overwhelmed debuff nerf, and Raging Blow + Bloodthirst buffs are missing from these notes, so they might still be delayed until the anniversary patch?

I pray they are cooking a rework and are hoping to just reveal it for season 2....maybe...i don't freaking know. Nerfing Arms indirectly because of Slayer tells me they literally forgot that they share Slayer with Fury. Colossus changes are so freaking small it's laughable.
Why would you anyway? Fury is far simpler to play and performs better. You don't have to play around janksplitter, mutliple gcd locked abilities and low uptime on aoe. Yeah single target might be a little better but there's so much AoE in the game Fury just shines more.

Mountain Thane, for me at least, is WAY more fun than slayer, anyway. We'll see how it ends up

If Slayer Fury's burst AoE is too strong, why are they nerfing random Slayer talents (that also hit arms) instead of just hitting Fury's Bladestorm damage? Like if they just nerfed BS by 10% and then buffed our other stuff to compensate on ST, wouldn't that solve the whole problem?
they have butchered fury and arms and now they begin to nerf prot, the just want to delete the class
With these tunes, I don't know about fury or arms, but prot is going in shine in damage meter as a tank. But don't like a reduction in rage generation as we are quite tight in rage now.
Colossus should see some bigger buffs to make up for this. Mountain of Muscles and Scars should go to 7.5% more damage dealt up from 5%, damage taken reduced by 3% up from 2.5% oh and also size increased by 10% up from 5% that's the most important part I almost forgot about. Demolish no longer slows your movement speed, has a 15 yard range and deals 20% more damage. I think those buffs would feel amazing. Because I have died too many times casting Demolish lol.
Because remember, Prot also has Colossus but it feels sooo much worse than MT.
Okay which one of you warriors took a massive dump on blizzards table? Might've been a funny move but we're all suffering over here.
I don't even play my fury anymore. Moved on. Waiting for blizz to get all their adjustments in.
Blizzard sucks at balancing its been said for years now that they have 0 idea what theyre doing... idk why theyre nerfing a fury, a class thats overall not even the best at its niche thing and it's i believe the worst melee st currently. So we're not even the best AoE class even on brood(behind Unh, Frost, Enh and theres even aff/destro/dh above the #1 parse) in mythic... this is just outrageous

You fail on brood because damage on small adds is mostly ignored in the parses

Question: Is the nature damage done by Mountain Thane affected by Versatility? If so, will it make Versatility more desirable than say, Critical strike?
You said these changes are for the PTR, i thought they were coming to live on weekly reset?
I just wish they buffed Colossus. For arms its so much fun to play imo, but it just plain sucks vs Slayer.
