Pivot Shuttle LT test ride!

- I've had the itch lately to buy an e-bike, and Pivot just launched their new Shuttle LT (and SL). The factory is only about 20 minutes down the road from me so I decided to take one out for a spin. Pime Canyon fire road to Mormon, to National, up to the parking lot.

Class 2 name brand e mountain bikes are legit and should be allowed. I'm 64 and my bad knee made it painful to ride my Trance so after 25 years of riding went to a Trek Fuel EX e.....life changing for me.
Wow, that was great to see my favorite routes on South Mountain again. An amazing bike, and only one Bar used for all that riding…Sold!!

The climbing has me sold. Seems kind of rinky dink on the way down though
Anything but rinky dink. It’s basically a Firebird with a battery and motor, and that bike is no joke.
Can you comment on sizing? I thought you said you are 6’1” and have an XL Megatower? Both same for me, and I’m not sure between L and XL on the Pivot. Which size did you demo? I ride an XL Mega, and definitely feel the L Mega would be too small for my style/terrain. But the XL Pivot feels longer than my XL Mega.
This was a large Shuttle LT. It did feel like a good fit for me. If Phoenix had less of the sharp turns in areas I like to ride, then I *might* get the XL.
