Nice riding! I rode one around a parking lot today. My first emtb experience. Was impressed. But the price!!! Ouch. Pro is $2K over my $10K limit. Will wait it out for some kind of sale or very lightly used one.
Thank you! We all wish prices were lower on bikes these days😂. What I can say is the Ride build at $8,999 USD would still be a great bike and is well under your budget!
I prefer to run DD at the very least but really prefer running full downhill casing, especially on the rear. Allows you to run super low pressures and maintain ridiculous support
What do you do when you smash into rock ledges and logs with your bottom bracket chain and chain ring? Is there some kind of hack or fix since you can’t put a chain guard/bash guard on it? Does the battery and motor area, hit instead of chain and chain ring? Why this over the Shuttle LT and vice versa?
Honestly it hasn’t been an issue and I run it in the low geo setting. Pivot has placed rubber protection on the bottom bracket area, but the chainring would hit first. As far as picking AM vs LT. For myself, I like the Bosch system feel in the AM a bit more and the bike feels like my Switchblade. The LT would be my choice if I was simply riding uphill to smash some downhills. Since trail riding is my jam, the AM felt like the better choice. Hope this helps!
Nice, but this Rattle Sound from the Dropperpost Problem is very bad, it would stress me extreme… Sounds like Riding a very old cheap Bike… For this heavy Price a very big dealbreaker
It’s unfortunate that a small easily fixable issue becomes a dealbreaker for you. This video is a “first ride” once I finished the ride I was able to add a small amount of foam over the cable housing and the rattle is gone. I can assure you, the ride this bike provides was not effected by any cable rattle. 😁
@@K1ngJame5-mtbright on. Not sure I experiencing that noise. I’ve changed the dropper and the only rattle noise I’m hearing is from the Shimano brake pads.
Nice ! Thanks again for the ebike demos this weekend we all had a blast !

Would it be a good rock and root garden bike? Or do the cranks and pedals smash into it all?
Are exo+ tires tough enough, or are the DD/double down needed? Thank you.

Did PIVOT fix the rattle?
No response means no
I’m the same height as you and am buying a medium. What length of dropper do you recommend, stock 175 or 200?
I run a high saddle height and use a 170 AXS. I could run a 200. I measure from the top of the pedal spindle to the top of the saddle at 91cm
How tall are you? (Apologies if I missed it)
5’9”
What trail are you riding?
RAMBA in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

The Rattle is from the Fox Dropperpost, Pivot say official this is the Problem
The Bosch motor clunking/rattle while coasting over chatter is a deal breaker for me

Fast but too clunky for my taste, nice trails
