OH that moonshine one is amazing, I had to go back and reread that one. Given in some schools the science teacher does have a coaching position at some levels that makes it extra hilarious to me.
Also the noodle incident. Will we ever know what started it. I want more sports games to have this sort of humor in the weekly wrap up shows, and just be fun overall honestly. The dev has a talent for writing fun comedic lines, though has anyone pointed out Cox Sports exists and that may need changing up?
Sim stats were low because your sim quarter settings were prolly 5 minutes. It’s in settings.
in legend bowl you could simulate a season and your qb could throw 3 tds the whole year.
You have to set Sim quarter length double your actual quarter length.
This college football game is going to be my life after it releases. This... is a moment in history.

I have a stupid idea. Drew, you should play College Football 25 with a 'NTE All-Star Roster'. Basically, take the greatest players from all of your teams and play with them. The dominance would be epic as all your icons gel together

Thanks for covering this game, NTE. It definitely needed a signal boost from much larger influencers.
And don't let the handful of superfans dissuade you, constructive criticism is far more useful than blind praise. If something didn't gel with you, then absolutely call it out. A solo dev probably benefits more from different perspectives, instead of just the same few.
It's possible for something to be implemented poorly, and reworking it into a better version isn't impossible.
also i agree, the only kinda meh thing about this game is passing vision being rough and the spamming to break blocks
In settings I think you can tweak passing vision to be more lenient - as for blocking.... yea just gotta spam
The dynasty mentioned buying facilities to help recruiting. Its pretty easy to recruit once the facilities are built up a little.

I just wanted to mention that the pop-up in scouting was asking how you wanted to appeal to those players. And you were supposed to select the option that was your highest or appealed to them the most. That was why Prestige was highlighted, because you were maxed out on it.
Just wanted to say something in case you revisited the game at some point.

In the next UGF Dynasty you should include maybe one or even two original UGF players family members either offspring or like related like Erick Tyson’s little brother Von Tyson that plays running back that’s a Derrick Henry type guy like 6’4” 225lbs but fast if you aren’t gonna bring back the originals that could be alternative

Also that's the issues I've seen with the top down classic style football games. The up thr middle runs can get congested and hard to deal with

Will you recreate UGF in College Football 25?
Would be cool if he did the pandas as they would be in 2025 so like 6 years after the series ended. Perhaps they’ve fallen into disrepair after Tony Romo went to coach in the NFL. He could create himself as the coach and then bring them back

To be fair, this was all made by one developer. I’m not entirely sure what you’re referring to, but he deserve some slack. He has been putting updates out like crazy already, so I’m sure things will change. He’s done a fantastic job with this game as a solo dev

Console ports are in the plans eventually. I know he said PS5/Xbox are for sure. I'm sure he would love to get it on the switch as well.

I would have purchased the game if it wasn’t for the DEV throwing a tantrum on twitter over how excited everyone was for EA College Football
The dev still cool , he’s just passionate I bet.
I don’t see a problem with this. There’s no room for a greedy company like EA. They don’t deserve the love they’re getting. It’s all his opinion regardless. If your opinion doesn’t match his, so be it. We all love football though, so why not support someone who could be future competition for EA? It only makes both games better.

They just aren’t typically releasing products that are reviewed en mass like video games are with every little couch officer throwing their two cents in even though they don’t actually know what goes on inside of a company because they don’t work there or know anyone who does.
They’ve all “heard” things or they look at the state of madden and assume they now know everything there is to know about EA
It’s like any company You have some real rich assholes you have some nice rich people You have some lower level assholes You have some lower level nice people That’s just life No company is perfect And they ALL want money
Hating on EA is fine. But hating on fans, especially when showing obvious frustration that your game isn't getting the same attention, isn't cool.
You can be passionate without being a salty ass. And in that moment, Javo was definitely the latter.
