I think people thought they were tuning in for some drama. Honestly, I was one of them, but after watching the whole video; I left feeling inspired and encouraged to be more patient with others and more gracious.
It was a beautiful thing to see. And it looked like Marcus wanted to learn more..and Corey with the Holy Spirit..Give him Love. And I’m Glad you saw that too. Be safe Sister 🙏🏾
I enjoy drama, it’s my fleshly nature lol, and I’ve determined drama is my primary motivator for consuming discernment content. So that’s what I was looking for, But Corey did a great job & Marcus sounds markedly different than the last time i checked in. ❤
That's what being a Follower of HaMashiach, Yahusha (Christ Jesus) is about. Christianity has hindered us from being compassionate towards others. If we say we love Him, then it should be expressed in how we love each other. HalleluYah May the Father keep you, strengthen you, and prosper you and your family. In Jesus Mighty Name. HalleluYah
The grace that you extended to Marcus the other day was very admirable! He even said that he just needed for someone to show him some grace because he's so use to people just attacking him. Rather he was genuine or not, that's between him and God; you're only responsible for your own behavior, thoughts and motives.
@@TallGlass-fh8qf He could be faking it, idk 100%. Only him and God truly know. I pray though that he is being genuine and we do see some change in him. Only time will tell! Peace and Blessings!
People desire messiness that they forget that we need to handle disagreements like Corey did. Both men were respectful to each other rather than acting on emotion.
Spot on Corey regarding how we treat our brothers and sisters and from a place of restoration and reconciliation. Maybe this scandalizes some of us because it's granting grace and getting out of the way so people see and experience what it means to be like Jesus. You've said some convicting things but especially about how we treat one another. You are so right about the clown or spectacle show. Nobody wins in that instance, and it's not a good witness. Thank you for modeling another way...the heart of a shepherd leading people through truth. Even Marcus himself said, that he appreciated that you treated him with kindness and grace versus some of the other interactions he's had. That is so telling for us as men and women of God. May we check ourselves before we wreck ourselves. Lord, have mercy on us.
The discussion you had with Marcus will make it easier for you to correct him. He has great respect for you, and I am sure he would not mind if you pull him aside for a chat. It paves the way for you guys to even have a debate on topics you disagree on.
Corey, the thing that concerns me is that you signed off on Marcus without proving him completely. You said "I'm not sure if he is a brother but I'm going to treat him like a brother." That's risky. You're not dealing with a recent convert, but a pastor who doesn't have a good reputation, nor is he apt to teach. Treating him like a babe in his position doesn't seem proper.
Compromising GOD'S WORD, For The Sake of Being Liked by Individuals or A Group Is Never The Right Thing To Do. One reason why I Unsubscribed from his Channel A While Ago.
If you tell me you believe that Jesus is God and you have repented of your sins, and then after that I still tell you , I cannot call you a sister ,at that point you have done all you can…
🚩James 3:1, 12, 14-15 1 Brothers and sisters, not many of you should become teachers. You know that we who teach will be judged more severely. 12My brothers and sisters, can a fig tree produce olives? Can a grapevine produce figs? In the same way, a pool of salt water can’t produce fresh water. 14But if you are bitterly jealous and filled with self-centered ambition, don’t brag. Don’t say that you are wise when it isn’t true. That kind of wisdom doesn’t come from above. It belongs to this world. It is self-centered and demonic. 1 Corinthians 5:10-13 I didn’t tell you that you could not have any contact with unbelievers who commit sexual sins, are greedy, are dishonest, or worship false gods. If that were the case, you would have to leave this world. Now, what I meant was that you should not associate with people who call themselves brothers or sisters in the Christian faith but live in sexual sin, are greedy, worship false gods, use abusive language, get drunk, or are dishonest. Don’t eat with such people. After all, do I have any business judging those who are outside ⌞the Christian faith⌟? Isn’t it your business to judge those who are inside? God will judge those who are outside. Remove that wicked man from among you. Jude 1:4,12-13 For there are certain men crept in, which were before of old ordained to this condemnation: ungodly men they are, which turn the grace of our God into wantonness(playful, extravagant, corrupt), and deny God the only Lord, and our Lord Jesus Christ. 12 These people are a disgrace at the special meals you share with other believers. They eat with you and don’t feel ashamed. They are shepherds who care ⌞only⌟ for themselves. They are dry clouds blown around by the winds. They are withered, uprooted trees without any fruit. As a result, they have died twice. Their shame is like the foam on the wild waves of the sea. They are wandering stars for whom gloomy darkness is kept forever. Luke 13:6-9 Then Jesus used this illustration: “A man had a fig tree growing in his vineyard. He went to look for fruit on the tree but didn’t find any. He said to the gardener, ‘For the last three years I’ve come to look for figs on this fig tree but haven’t found any. Cut it down! Why should it use up ⌞good⌟ soil?’ Maybe next year it’ll have figs. But if not, then cut it down.’ ” “The gardener replied, ‘Sir, let it stand for one more year. I’ll dig around it and fertilize it. Hebrews 6:4-8 Some people once had God’s light. They experienced the heavenly gift and shared in the Holy Spirit. They experienced the goodness of God’s word and the powers of the world to come. Yet, they have deserted ⌞Christ⌟. They are crucifying the Son of God again and publicly disgracing him. Therefore, they cannot be led a second time to God. God blesses the earth. So rain often falls on it, and it produces useful crops for farmers. However, if the earth produces thorns and thistles, it is worthless and in danger of being cursed. In the end it will be burned.
He is flawed just like anyone else. If you had a platform and your faults were exposed to everyone then how would your reputation be viewed? Your tag is pillar of grace yet you don't show it with this comment.
I’m one of Roger’s biggest critic in his comments. This the first time I’ve seen Marcus being real and not talking so much jibberish. Just like all of us he has some work to do. It’s just that his responsibility is held to a higher standard he needs to understand hopefully he takes your advice Cory.
Corey, my brother just my take on your one on one! The conversation you had with Marcus was wonderful in terms of grace and brotherhood! But you've been antagonistic towards Marcus for quite a while and built a hard-nosed foundation of rebuke towards Marcus for his position on several biblical issues! Then you finally sit him down and act like his biggest fan and that's fine too but I think you should have dialed back your onslaught of rebuke and people wouldn't be so critical of your demeanor in such a great conversation! This whole journey you embarked on to get Marcus on your channel feels more like a Dr. Jeckle and Mr. Hyde sort of ride!
Despite the best intentions, these "influencer Christians" often get caught up in the "showtime" aspect of things. Remember, ALL of us have some level of hypocrisy...🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Brother, I listened to the first hour of your video with Marcus and I think you dropped the ball. Just saying. I hear your heart and I hear Macus too but I think you were too lenient.
And you let Michael Brown get away with his yelling fire and false prophecies at Pensacola and Brownsville and act like those false prophecies never happened. Corey didn't do anything you didn't do. Hypocritical sir. It's just one conversation.
In what way do you feel so? What should I have said while still maintaining the ability to speak into those areas that need correcting? I didn't drop the ball, it's still in my hands. What will the outcome be? Who knows. But I know what the outcome would be if I excoriated him on the livestream.
Corey, I follow you because I like your teachings, your verification, and your interactions with your followers. You are never going to please everyone.
I am so grateful that God is the righteous judge and not any of us. A lot of people are going to be surprised to see people in Heaven that they thought would never make it.
I’m very proud of you. I appreciate the grace and the correction you gave. I hope that you guys are able to build a relationship because faithful all the wounds of a friend, may the Lord grant you friendship.
I don't think you compromised. You showed concern for the body of Christ. You voiced that opinion. He was man enough to speak to you. Y'all had a great dialogue. He was receptive and so were you. Y'all gotta stop hating Marcus. This isn't Jerry Springer. Big ups to Marcus, and Corey for being a good example on how grown men should work out the differences.
Calling out the obvious abuses & wrongs that Marcus has done : Falsely portraying himself a Pastor, using God & a false sense of Righteousness in order to exploit the vulnerable for money, the desperate looking for guidance & answers to why their lives are so difficult isn't hating Marcus, it's calling out what he is - a false teacher & a wof in sheep's clothing whose only motivation is wealth & comfort at the expense of those who serve the Faith.
It amazes me how so many people believe that they have it “RIGHT”. We as a body of Believers need to stop our “I’m Right, You’re Wrong” mentality/spirituality. The dialogue was by far one of the better ones I’ve listened to. Thanks Pastors for the dialogue without demeaning
Corey did handle the meeting cordially. But he didn’t really correct Marcus. He pacified Him. By the looks of Marcus expression he looked frustrated and ready to defend himself. Being corrected isn’t one of Marcus strong suit.
To everything the Apostle Paul wrote in his espistles I say Amen and Amen again. I don't have a problem trying to have a healthy discussion about objective points of view when dealing with the Scripture. But I'll also leave you with something the Apostle John says," if there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, recieve hin not into your house, neither bid him GOD speed."
I think most wanted a drama show, but when you extended a olive branch they came at you but one thing all those people can't say is that you never go to the scriptures.Thank you for all you do and how you handle yourself.
You gotta keep goin brother Corey 🙌🏾 with all I’ve seen in how you conduct yourself, this is how we’ve been instructed to do it! You don’t just give up and write people off. I’m proud of you man
The people that had a problem with you and Marcus conversation needs to check their heart posture and question their relationship with Jesus.. Marcus seemed so humble and teachable and Corey was a great mentor filled with grace and ❤️
Check your bible - Marcus is not qualified to be a pastor being that he has married and divorced multiple women. His supposed 'humility' here is neither here nor there; he has no business leading God's people according to the Bible.
He is teachable somewhere... I do not care for him honestly... Would keep him at arms length BUT... I do agree, he is different than he was two years ago.
@@theleastofthese5369I'm right there with you. I first started watching Marcus when he was new to Facebook and it didn't take me long to figure out that his doctrine was trash, and it only got worse after that. However, maybe this can be a new beginning for Marcus, that would be great. We need more solid teachers in the world, more Tony Evans's teaching Truth 😊
@matthewalston1226 Tony Evans position on women in ministry is NOT Biblical so NO ONE is perfect but Jesus so be careful to put NO ONE on a pedestal and work out your OWN salvation with fear and trembling! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
@@CCD_106 and what do you think Tony Evans position of women in church is? Keep in mind that he has absolutely No control over his grown adult daughter Maria Shrier.
@@matthewalston1226 I listen to a few great ones, Amir Tsarfati, Dr Andy Woods, JD Farag... It's been about a year since I found Corey's channel and it is so awesome to find sound teachers today... They are becoming quite rare even in the Churches.
I stand with Corey. In conversations you must be willing to accept someone's answers even if they are wrong because it is THEIR answers to YOUR questions. Then if their answers seem wrong you need to make sure that you flush out if it is because YOU asked the question in a way that THEY actually understand by asking more questions or restating or asking more probing questions. If you find out that they fully understood you correctly but their answer may still be wrong, you know what areas they need help with. Condemnation against a person's understanding will never lead to truth.
To add to what I said, Jesus told us also to go out to them. Not only that to enter their homes if they will have us, and eat with them. If they reject you, THEN you shake off the dirt. The key is THEN. If you're not willing to converse with people you disagree with irrespective of outcome, irrespective of whether you get the answers you want, irrespective of if you change their minds in the first, second, or fiftieth conversation so long as they are still willing to speak and converse with them, how could anyone ever believe that you would actually go into their homes and eat a meal with them as the Lord says.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 ESV [4] Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant [5] or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; [6] it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. [7] Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things
I didn’t know what to expect when I tuned in but I was so happy it went the way it did. I saw a different side of Marcus and we don’t know what God is doing in his heart so the response from the body should be to pray for Marcus. I thank God for brother Corey so much and I pray the Lord continue to use him mightily for His kingdom.
I never comment but I just have to say Cory you did an Amazing job being kind loving and Christ like , yet bringing truth to him . If you were mean he would have put up walls and not listened to you. Beautiful Job Cory !
Honestly, I get the impression that Mr. Minor gives the same energy he receives. Rogers gave respect and gained respect. He wasn't confrontational, and it was an opportunity to get Rogers to hear instead of being in defense mode and hearing nothing, which would be pointless. I AM DEFINITELY NOT A FAN OR FOLLOWER OR SUPPORTER OF ROGERS, and I believe Corey handled this as God would have had him to.
It's sad to see people these days full of so much pride and arrogant God anit please with that sad to see where is the love and grace for others it seems like it doesn't exist nowadays God Bless you my brother keep doing what the Lord's word said God bless
Cory it was a awesome conversation and praying it opens up the door for you to disciple Marcus. And pour out into him and teach him . He seemed very respectful to you and willing to learn. He needs some good elder men of God. Who have sound doctrine. Holy Spirit Will do the work through the Word! Grace and Peace praise the Triune Godhead Father Son Spirit ✝️ Jesus is YHWH
Corey I think your convo with Marcus might have brought up some questions regarding our treatment of what the Bible (and then us) call false teachers. You as we have seen shown in scripture that says we are to mark and avoid these false teachers. If we are called to do that which you and I have done, when then do we get into a situation like this where we no longer mark and avoid but now talking and trying to correct them? We had by trying to teach and correct them but ultimately decided to avoid them. Where is that line or scripture that says ok now we no longer avoid them but are communing with them? At what point is the avoidance? I hope you can respond to my questions. Quick edit: I believe that there should be a public repentance and they must step down from ministry. I hope you can answer my questions 🙏
@@JR01015 hello and thank you for your question. No I have not emailed Corey or offered to come on camera. I came up with my questions after the live feed was over and I don't think my question needs to be on camera. I don't think it's a big deal, it was just a thought I had after everything was over? I do think the answer could help those that feel or have the same question. I'm answering your question here at 2 in the morning because my day is filled with taking care of my wife who has cancer and needs my full time attention. Sometimes I'm unavailable or unable to spend time with the whole show, and Corey is aware of my family situation. If I had his email I might send him my questions but I have heard him ask people to put on questions in the comments after the live feed has ended. Thank you though for your comment as I take it with a good heart and not wanting drama. God Bless.
I was very satisfied with your teaching, you gave lots of context, your maturity lead the podcast gracefully. Never once did I feel you were an attack. Marcus was very respectful and all though there are some differences you didn’t speak based on feeling but based on text. Good job brother.
It is almost like people wanted you to be angry and mad at Marcus and for the both of you to be going back and forth in a negative way. People like drama and because you both were respectful and able to have a decent conversation (even on things you both disagree on). People didn't like the interview and thought you were soft and backing down on some of your views. You have been consistent from day one with your beliefs and teaching on the bible no matter who you were talking to. We are always suppose to carry ourselves in a way that is pleasing to God and you handled the interview perfectly. We should be able to talk to people we disagree with and maybe that is an opportunity to help that person see the light and change. Some people just want to find a reason to come at you. If you lose some people, so what, they had a problem with Jesus and he was perfect and so they are going to have a problem with you too no matter what you do. Corey, don't let these folks bother you, as long as God knows your heart and what you stand for, that is all that matters!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Damon(the guy who called in) is too busy talking to listen to what Corey is saying. He appears as if he is pretending to understand Corey, but not receptive at all.
Brother Corey, I appreciate how you dissected the scriptures concerning tongues. BUT, are you going to apologize to any person that comes on your UA-cam channel that you may have been aggressive in your reproach to their false teaching? Is Mike Todd, Jamal Bryant or anybody else that you talked about, going to receive an apology if they were to come on your show? Why talk about them on your videos, then apologize when they meet you face to face on your show? Or, maybe you could call out their false teachings without saying anything you need to apologize for. That’s the one thing that stood out to me. Great conversation and I appreciate you!
Brother Corey, I think you did a great thing. I think maybe you opened his eyes on some things. Bottom line, GOD loves him. I believe you treated him with love and respect. I do believe Marcus has some flawed doctrin, but I also believe he's searching, and maybe the LORD was using you to reach him. I believe he's saved, and so I will treat him like a brother as well. I love you in the LORD bro Corey. Keep up the work your doing.
Most "Church people" are illiterate when it comes to Scriptures so these kind of discussions baffle them and make them disturbed and angry. I enjoyed the dialogue.
You shouldn't have to explain you had a real conversation with him you didn't compromise anything that you've ever spoken about. In my opinion he still believes in false doctrine his ears were closed with certain topics and he was being passive aggressive. He wanted to seem humble and was trying to exonerate himself from all of the criticism he's been receiving. He has a brand that he's trying to keep alive. At the same time I believe he wants to be saved and he really doesn't want to be a deceiver but he needs to learn more about scripture before he preaches to others.
I commend you brother Corey, and you really don't owe any of us an explanation about this, however it's understood when you have people questioning, and you need to give an answer, because Marcus is a hot topic, and many upon many are against his doctrine such as myself, but by the time the video was over I was so happy that you two came together, and I believe it was a divine appt by God, it didn't change how I fell about Marcus doctrine, but it changed the way I feel about him. Marcus was so calm, and at ease, and was eager to listen to you so many want to see a dispute over doctrine, and disorder, but you two were not together to debate about doctrine, and his false teaching, but rather that he sought you out, and you were there to help him. He smiled so much, and laughed, and that was so amazing to see. I love what many of your guest said especially Scortchearth and when he mentioned so many won't even confront their own pastors about what they do, but all up on UA-cam trying to correct everyone else was on point! Over the years I commented on so many of Marcus's videos that I believe he has hidden me from others seeing my comment on his videos, but that's ok, because ain't no one mad, but the devi, loll. People should not of expected you to question Marcus about his false doctrine, and to get into his world, because it just wasn't suppose to be like that on today, because God had something different planned out, and this is why we should first always be lead of God, and don't expect everyone to be like those who are looking to argue, because sooner, or later someone has got to come in, and put the fire out. I love what you did, and pray you two stay connected, and I have so much compassion for Marcus right now I haven't changed my views on his doctrine lest it changes, but I am pulling for him, and you both to engage with one another. I forgot to mention I did feel funny when you called him brother, because how can two walk together lest be be agreed. I am leaving the scripture below, because of what one your guest said something about how can Marcus be trusted, and even be called a brother. God called Ananias to minister to Paul after he was blinded for three days when he was met on the road to Damascus by the LORD, and a similar question was asked by Ananias to the LORD... Acts 9:13-14 Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem: 14And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name. 15But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: 16For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake. 17And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost. 18And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized. Even though Paul was not a fan favorite the LORD said he called Paul, so he sent Ananias to minister to him, so let's put Corey, and Marcus name in the places of Paul, and Ananias. God bless, and to God be the glory.
So y’all wanted him to act unruly? If that’s so you should fall on your knees and ask God what is in my heart that I seek such. Standing on Truth and giving grace which I will learn from my brother Corey does not have to be nasty and distasteful. When you enter with respect and love you are heard even if it is not accepted. But when you come with a prideful heart it does not matter what truth you speak it will not be heard Amen brother Corey thank you I learned so much from this I am preparing myself to go out unto the streets a lift up my voice like a trumpet this right here will help me along the way God bless you all.
Corey I’m actually proud of how you handled yourself with Marcus. You were open to understand what he actually believes rather than just going off what social media portrays. I, myself, definitely felt he was a heretic and false prophet. I’m still not sure of him yet but I was glad that he appeared to open to reproach and you did it gracefully with the actual word.
I wish so called brothers and sisters would stop looking at people’s past and look at what they need at the moment. Time to pray and time to stop criticizing. Amen?
My Lord big brother C,that chat became like a big fight is gonna happen at 3:15 after school everybody want a piece of DAT person soo where is the love from those who support to know scriptures & following this smart christian channel you are moving in love of all men's,you always saying let see what the scriptures man what they not seeing & hearing God brought this Lil brother Marcus to the smart christian channel and watch others gonna follow how has been miss learn, those people in dat chat has become defenses against a save person are a loss person that ain't the ❤ of Christ Jesus being God the head of it all...what they for got God...love a MR and others like Marcus big brother C,I..know u will challenge anyone in that chat when the time permit itself brother stay as you are because God put this together amen... love you big brother ✝️☝️✝️✝️
Folks are so accustomed to drama and fighting. Aren't yall tired of seeing "Christian's" go for the juggler on YT? Corey demonstrated maturity with Marcus and now has the opportunity to speak truth and help him to rightfully divide the Word. If the man is a heretic, Corey will be able to put an end to that question in due time.
First thing I like to say is you’re the most humble person on most of these Christian channels. Most people want to see arguing and bickering back-and-forth about the holy scriptures. But not you. I watch the video on you and Marcus, and I am the most honest person I know & I try to be. Carefully after watching, I seen nothing that you have done wrong in that discussion with Marcus. If anything, it seem to me like he was dodging questions and in some cases, not paying any attention to what you was saying. He was more concerned about the comments on the live on what people were saying about him. Am not trying to bash this brother. Am just telling how my eyes witness it. Marcus if you see this am not trying to attack you in no shape or form. I think you & Marcus should do another video Corey. God bless🙏
I think it was a move in the right direction. You did a wonderful job in conversing with Marcus. I want to believe that the people who are in disagreement were expecting a showdown of you scolding him. It was a very cordial discussion, and our first reaction is to entreat him as a brother if he holds true to what is required for salvation. Keep up the good work Corey
Keep loving the people! God has built you for this. Most people in the comments have not and do not shepherd people or wounded, strong-willed Men. Many scriptures come to mind, but the one below is the one I'm choosing to post. Ezekiel 3:8-9 Look, I have made your face as hard as their faces and your forehead as hard as their foreheads. 9 I have made your forehead like a diamond, harder than flint. Don't be afraid of them or discouraged by the look on their faces, though they are a rebellious house."
There's a lot of pharisee like spirits in the comments. There's a lot of individuals who may need to truly be saved. We should want the best for everyone. Alot of us are more worldly than we think. May the Father Yahuah keep us all. In Yahusha Ha'Mashiach Name. HalleluYah
Let me ask a serious question. What is it that Marcus preaches that you guys don’t agree with to the point where you don’t believe he’s a brother. I saw a couple of times that he said that y’all don’t agree with him because he doesn’t agree with the word Trinity. I’m truly wondering if that is what this is all about. I’ve seen plenty of times that he said that he believes that Jesus is God, the Holy Spirit is God, and the Father is God. Is this really all about him not agreeing or believing or using the word Trinity? I’m not trying to be argumentative I’m just truly trying to understand what is going on.
Brother Corey! KJV - 2 Corinthians 2 : 10 “To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ;”
Someone mentioned Paul... It is a great example. Im sure it took believers TIME to accept Paul... But as his fruit manifest I'm sure they settled in. the fear of the Lord...is the beginning of wisdom. Humility has to take place for this to come... I saw that in Marcus. He is headed in that direction... Keep an arm out but two ears open
Watching it... Is one thing, COMMENTING is another Btw, there are times we should listen to our wives and times we should not. (husbands)... Adam should have abstained... Abraham should have abstained... Pilates wife... Should have listened to her.
Is there anyway to contact you? Do you have conversations with people who have questions concerning the faith? Love your channel really want to reach out
Corey, you were very humble and considered with Marcus, but you should have told him that he's WRONG on SALVATION,he teaches that you have to be baptized according to Acts 2:38, and you are NOT saved unless you speak in Tongues, you should have been MORE out spoken about the subject.
Yes, MR was humble, yes he showed a desire to learn and yes it was a nice discussion....... however, are we all forgetting that MR being married & divorced multiple times and his lack of theological knowledge means he has absolutely no business being a pastor in the first place. Added to that he continues to consort with Vlad Savchuk one of the 'demon slayers' who he mentioned numerous times during the discussion. Even on him being the husband of multiple successive women alone disqualifies him from being a pastor. 😑😑
@hayeschrist1you fail to understand that Marcus is indeed disqualified from being a pastor and that is a fact 💁 And it has absolutely nothing to do with him being forgiven,if Marcus repents he is forgiven... but he's still disqualified and needs to sit down and learn.
I agree. It was a good, civil conversation, but as you've stated. Marcus is disqualified from pastorship if he divorced his wives due to unbiblical reasons. However, Christians continue to ignore 1 Corinthians 7 mandates concerning divorce and remarriage.
@hayeschrist1Ad hominem. Don't follow him or any 'man of God' blindly. It's God's Word to us that is above all and God has made it clear the qualifications of those who should pastor.
Phew. . . What has been revealed to me fully after this, is millions are believing in and because of safe spaces (smooth talk and flattery). Not in God or because of God.
I thank God Ananias and the other Believers didn’t act this way with Paul 😢 that man was killing followers and preachers of Christ. I don’t know how Marcus heart is… only God does. But I think that he respectfully listened to Corey, although he had rebuttals, and I will pray that the seed Corey sowed God gives a harvest. Who knows, this conversation may have won a soul for the kingdom. Not just ourselves are worthy… quite frankly none of us are. But THANKS BE TO GOD. Let us remember Jonah family.
Corey, you have lived long enough to know that you will never get everyone to agree or that they will even understand. This is why we must please God and do what we do unto God, for His glory. That’s the focus. Those who want to receive and grow will stay focused on substance, and not the negative stuff. Unfortunately, we’ve been programmed by the world to please the flesh and not the spirit. Keep letting God lead you Corey, not man.
It almost seems like people don’t want Marcus to change instead they want to condemn him Corey was giving him an opportunity to change his stance which is absolutely what we should do as Christians.
I'm glad you exposing the hearts of ignorant Christians. You were full of grace and truth Cory. It was a great evangelistic approach in that you were filling in the gaps in love . I love how respectful you were. I'm an evangelist my self and I can agree with your approach 💯 😊
You treat them like a brother because its right before God. If he turns out to be a liar then Corey treated him with love either way just as God commands. Corey also did not affirm any of Marcus beliefs he simply asked Marcus questions that line up with what the bible teaches.
Corey you stood on what you believe, you did good. I know that you are a teacher and I’m not, because some of those comments I would put a dent stamp on it❤
So, is Marcus a heretic And a brother??? ..... You can be saved, and not know bible doctrines, ( but one sure better learned).... A lot of times we don't want to humble ourselves and learn...... Also: you made a statement, that no one can fully explain the Holy Trinity...... That's your opinion, which is not true....... Trinity explained: One God, who manifests Himself into 3, they are the same in substance, they are equal in power and Glory, ( equal in every divine aspect), but still ( one God )!!!! Note: But you won't receive that from me.....
@hayeschrist1 listen my brother carefully, I made a true statement: that a Christian can be (saved), and not know bible doctrines.... However, it is very important ( if one desires to teach), it is of Paramount importance, that one learns Bible doctrines.... Don't twist my comment.....
@hayeschrist1 That question is for Pastor Corey, who had a chance to speak with pastor Marcus in private and in public..... However, I already have my own observations concerning Pastor Marcus.....
@@matthewalston1226 I can appreciate your ( humor)!!😂...... And your observation about Marcus.... But as for me , ( for the most part), speaking in general, giving a person respect, is very important to me.... Truth be told: He is a pastor, to HIS' wife, children, family, friends, UA-cam followers, and the brothers and sisters, who set up under him at the church........
@@jonathanmcclinton8730 IS your comment about Marcus, or are you speaking in general, about those who are not called to preach or teach, or operating outside of their calling???
Mann Christians love beef.. beef sales! Proverbs 17: 19-20 Whoever loves to argue loves to sin. Whoever brags a lot is asking for trouble. A person with an evil heart will find no success, and the person whose words are evil will get into trouble.
in the parable of the prodigal son, who wasted all his father's money, most of the negative comments by people here, reflect the situation of the elder brother who instead of rejoicing became angry and complained.
So the guy a the 60 min mark says that he lost interested in Marcus Rodgers because he kept saying "God this, God this, God showed me this." Then himself proceeds to say "One thing that God showed me yesterday." Like come on man. Too often people say this stuff to add credibility to whatever they are claiming. Did God really show you or was it something you worked out by your own intelligence. Because if God did really show you then you better not be wrong about it.
2 Timothy 2:22-26 - So flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart. Have nothing to do with foolish, ignorant controversies; you know that they breed quarrels. And the Lord's servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, correcting his opponents with gentleness. God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth, and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will.
Corey, how can I get your email so I can contact you? I have a few biblical questions I want to ask you. I've learned so much from your channel, and I am studying to teach people sound doctrine and bring others to Christ. I could use some guidance on some things. I was hoping you'd be willing to help out a fellow Hoosier.🙏🏾✝️🙏🏾
Here is a prime example of when judging goes wrong. Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. I see people speculating on the genuineness of Marcus Rodger’s without proof of his ungenuineness. He left, and a day later is spoken of as being not genuine. Did these individuals who have a problem with this give time to see the fruit? Cory taught Gods word which allowed Marcus to hear, change his heart, and now there are those who find different faults in him. So Cory is supposed to feel Marcus is not redeemable? God doesn’t want any to perish. We have to be careful to not come across as having no mercy, love, grace etc. which are characteristics of those who follow Christ. This is why we don’t follow man, and we follow without wavering the God who forgives, saves and sees. I want to know…if Corey doesn’t try as a man of God to clarify something’s with someone who appears to want to listen, then what do we leave him for the devil to take him? If we have faith we must do the works and not be afraid of people.
Don’t take this the wrong way but I’m just curious why wasn’t there anyone outside of your race commenting? It’s important that our brothers and sisters in Christ look different from the top to the bottom. I notice a lot of churches are segregated and it’s wrong. If the church is segregated then why would we expect any different from the world? Just an observation.
Corey you knew bringing Marcus Rogers on your show with create exactly what’s going on now seems to me you’re falling shot monetarily but I submitted you you will pay for all this nonsense that you’re doing we are hall to call out false teachers but if you wanna take the stance have at it
You can't keep ducking me, Corey. I see how you closed the live as soon as I came in. LOL. You coddling these hairy ticks...LOL. Don't run...cam up with me. LOLOL
Lets see if MR changes any of his demonic doctrine.
Well said👍🏾👍🏾
I enjoy drama, it’s my fleshly nature lol, and I’ve determined drama is my primary motivator for consuming discernment content.
HalleluYah
May the Father keep you, strengthen you, and prosper you and your family.
Amen 🙏
@@TallGlass-fh8qf He could be faking it, idk 100%. Only him and God truly know. I pray though that he is being genuine and we do see some change in him. Only time will tell!
Peace and Blessings!
Actually i think people are responding to his words and actions. Thats actually how all of this started.
I watched the replay last night while I was at work, and I enjoyed the dialog you guys had.
Me too. It was so positive. Corey asked real questions about doctrine.
Same!
If you tell me you believe that Jesus is God and you have repented of your sins, and then after that I still tell you , I cannot call you a sister ,at that point you have done all you can…
🚩James 3:1, 12, 14-15
1 Brothers and sisters, not many of you should become teachers.
1 Corinthians 5:10-13
I didn’t tell you that you could not have any contact with unbelievers who commit sexual sins, are greedy, are dishonest, or worship false gods.
Jude 1:4,12-13
For there are certain men crept in, which were before of old ordained to this condemnation: ungodly men they are, which turn the grace of our God into wantonness(playful, extravagant, corrupt), and deny God the only Lord, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
Luke 13:6-9
Then Jesus used this illustration: “A man had a fig tree growing in his vineyard.
Hebrews 6:4-8
Some people once had God’s light.

Marcus was very humble
But not humble enough to repent of his false prophecies.
That is definitely one of the areas he and I will be dealing with
@@smartchristians Good. I’m glad somebody is going to talk to him about that.
Potter's House and Fire House
Both Houses are Dangerous !
I agree with that.
Exactly the point. I'm disqualified to be a pastor and so is MR.
Brother, I listened to the first hour of your video with Marcus and I think you dropped the ball. Just saying. I hear your heart and I hear Macus too but I think you were too lenient.
About as lenient as you were with Michael Brown huh?
Just like you and Michael Brown?
And you let Michael Brown get away with his yelling fire and false prophecies at Pensacola and Brownsville and act like those false prophecies never happened. Corey didn't do anything you didn't do. Hypocritical sir. It's just one conversation.
In what way do you feel so? What should I have said while still maintaining the ability to speak into those areas that need correcting? I didn't drop the ball, it's still in my hands. What will the outcome be? Who knows. But I know what the outcome would be if I excoriated him on the livestream.
Way to go my brother. God be praised. Thanks again for the sound teaching. Riding with you as you imitate Christ
Some people come here for the channel’s intended purpose, some come here because they’re looking for Day of Our Lives.🤷🏾♀️
Corey, I follow you because I like your teachings, your verification, and your interactions with your followers. You are never going to please everyone.
Cory, you're a real brother. Don't listen to all the fake gospel gangsters bro. Continue to do things GOD'S way, brother. Much love and respect.
I am so grateful that God is the righteous judge and not any of us. A lot of people are going to be surprised to see people in Heaven that they thought would never make it.
I really appreciate the way the conversation was done actually.
Think you handled the conversation gracefully. And I was surprised that Marcus seemed to humbly accept the task to reconsider his positions.
All I’m saying you criticized Allen Parr for the same approach back then. But overall the convo was good
That's why we should not put ANY of these UA-cam folks on a pedestal because we ALL have some level of hypocrisy...🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
That was the best video from yesterday... Marcus was very humble, and you were gracious 🙏
"You can be saved, and be stupid" lol
Took me 30 years (at age 40) to land it right
I have been saved and stupid for a long time, but I finally started to wise up in my 40's. God Bless you!
You have love Corey. You are commited
@@ifeifesi He's qualified.

The dialogue was civil and uplifting. Very respectful toward each other.
We must listen to people's beliefs so we can correct them. I appreciate your patience and kindness 🙏🙏🙏

Have either of you emailed Corey and offered to come on camera publicly to discuss your disagreement in scriptural interpretation?
@@JR01015 hello and thank you for your question. No I have not emailed Corey or offered to come on camera. I do think the answer could help those that feel or have the same question.
I love this channel! Bless You Brother Corey! Well done!
My prayers are that MR was and stays humble and that the Lord works in his heart as he is well decieved
Acts 9:13-14
Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem: 14And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name.
“It’s almost like folks watch the channel and don’t pay attention.” 😂
Amen?
Corey acted in accordance (pun intended😂) with Galatians 6:1. Commendable on his part
Did anyone hear when Marcus ask Corey for his learning app ? The brother is trying to learn !
I used to judge Marcus on what I heard from others but listening to him I think he's growing thank you brother

Corey, are you going to have Rick Caldwell on your show about this issue?
Corey you are back backpedaling again
Someone mentioned Paul... It is a great example. Im sure it took believers TIME to accept Paul... But as his fruit manifest I'm sure they settled in. the fear of the Lord...is the beginning of wisdom. Humility has to take place for this to come... I saw that in Marcus. He is headed in that direction... Keep an arm out but two ears open
Watching it... Is one thing, COMMENTING is another
Btw, there are times we should listen to our wives and times we should not. (husbands)... Adam should have abstained... Abraham should have abstained... Pilates wife... Should have listened to her.
Marcus is easy to read... He wears his heart on his sleeve
Is there anyway to contact you? Do you have conversations with people who have questions concerning the faith? Love your channel really want to reach out
Love this.. ❤ I think he will appreciate it
Corey, you were very humble and considered with Marcus, but you should have told him that he's WRONG on SALVATION,he teaches that you have to be baptized according to Acts 2:38, and you are NOT saved unless you speak in Tongues, you should have been MORE out spoken about the subject.
@hayeschrist1you fail to understand that Marcus is indeed disqualified from being a pastor and that is a fact 💁
And it has absolutely nothing to do with him being forgiven,if Marcus repents he is forgiven... but he's still disqualified and needs to sit down and learn.
Corey what Bible software do you use
I thank God Ananias and the other Believers didn’t act this way with Paul 😢 that man was killing followers and preachers of Christ. I don’t know how Marcus heart is… only God does. But I think that he respectfully listened to Corey, although he had rebuttals, and I will pray that the seed Corey sowed God gives a harvest. Who knows, this conversation may have won a soul for the kingdom. Not just ourselves are worthy… quite frankly none of us are. But THANKS BE TO GOD. Let us remember Jonah family.
Cory consider this. Why not invite one of these commentators in your chat the opportunity to a live discussion to present their point.
I did
Corey, you have lived long enough to know that you will never get everyone to agree or that they will even understand.
I emailed you and still haven't received a response sir.
I learned so much from this video and the other one.
I know that you are a teacher and I’m not, because some of those comments I would put a dent stamp on it❤
What happen to just Bible study
@@emileharrisI agree with your comments.... except the part where you call Marcus a pastor 😂
Great job. You tried. Prayerfully Marcus will sincerely think about sound doctrine
Can't please everybody. Ppl stay in their feelings, if they don't like someone they expect you to not like them too, so ridiculous.
Spot on brother 👏
LOLOL
Not hairy ticks?!!!! haha. I don't think that is ever leaving my memory!
