      Wait a minute he changed his stance bro Corey this was not the same take he had first bro it was pure modalism, now I'm not saying that it is a bad thing at all now... but this was not the view at first..

      Marcus is not a Pastor. He does not have any real training or ordination. He may try to portray himself as a Pastor but in Truth It's all about wealth.
      He won't hesitate to lie or manipulate people & there's no shortage of schemes or claims to get what he wants. He doesn't love God, he uses God to exploit people for gain while thinking only of himself & these are the worst kind of people to listen to or follow.

      @@michealtrotter2942 I don't think so, I think he's just not good at explaining these things. Many people that even state open agreement with the Trinity end up unintentionally explaining it like a modalist.
      This was a time when Corey could ask very specific questions and he answered them in a way that doesn't include modalism or turn Jesus into a creation.

    The comments of surprise about Marcus’ demeanor shows that many only know what they heard about him. I’ve seen him behave the same way in conversations with others who don’t agree with him. In his content he’s passionate and riled up but many times I’ve seen him be meek, respectful and humble when engaging face to face with others

    Marcus loves the Lord and I feel like so many people put so much pressure on him to almost be perfect. He’s not. I can only speak for myself, when I was still living in the world but I wanted to know the Lord I would watch Marcus. He had so much passion and love for the Lord and his videos/ teachings didn’t make me feel like the way I was living was ok. The Holy Spirit convicted me through him. I have now been walking faithfully with the Lord for 3 years and haven’t looked back. So I thank you Marcus for being obedient to the Lords call on your life.

      He loves money & himself more. He only portrays false Righteousness to justify not God, but himself.

    • @jesusoursavior
      @jesusoursavior 8 місяців тому

      @@ALone-wc2oh hey, have you ever met him? I mean from my own experience I was led to the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth. I mean we truly will never know 100% because we don’t know his heart but God does and I believe from the fruits of his life he wants to lead people out of darkness. I guess all we can do is pray for him just like anyone else.

    • @ALone-wc2oh
      @ALone-wc2oh 8 місяців тому +2

      @@jesusoursavior A man is measured by their words, behavior & actions upon which he is held accountable to his peers. In the case of a Pastor, he MUST be willing to hold to a standard & be held accountable by the Community they serve. Naturally if they are doing something they aren't supposed to be doing, it's going to get called out every single time.
      It isn't hate or the devil. A Pastor should never base his sermons based on perceived slights or "hate based on what others say, that's a path to selfishness & conceit. A sign of immaturity.
      A Pastor also cannot just create gossip & outrage just to point the finger at it in an attempt to prove what they claim & say is true. That's not what Pastors do. They also should not be profiting off of anything from the Word.
      Their task is to preach the Gospel as written & exemplify Jesus Christ in thoughts, actions & behavior. They are Servants to the People, not themselves.
      If anyone who aspires to be a Pastor & is not willing to do anything of what it is required of them as written, they cannot be one. These rules are in place in order to protect You & all others from those who attempt to exploit the vulnerable for money & gain. His mind is not in the right place & he has never grown psychologically into a man. His mind is focused on ego & wealth alone not suitable to teach or lead.
      How can a man who has so much lapse in character & heart teach when he refuses to humble himself & learn?

      I always see people hating online and know automatically that person is not listening to the Holy Spirit when they're doing that. Yet it happens so often in the comment sections. So it's great to finally see someone admit they were wrong.

This video here sure did help me "leaps & bounds" help me. It's rough when 37 yrs you live in and for the world and Jesus turns everything around on its head. Sucks that it takes a long time to rewire all the messed up things in my head. But I'm committed to Jesus for the long haul whatever it takes.... Amen

If Corey would’ve come on and lambasted him, he would’ve just hung up or they would’ve started arguing and the seeds would never get planted. This is the way to do things when they actually want to defend their position. Excellent job.

    I think what Marcus is saying regarding speaking in tongues to edify himself is like worship, you put on some gospel music you worship, you exalt his name, anyone ever worship and feel refreshed? like times of refreshing comes from the presence of the lord? When you are worshipping in your home, no one is there, but it builds you up. You feel great, same as speaking tongues by yourself. It builds you up, same effect coffee has on some of us, in this moment I just feel good. Now, to say every believer must, I do not agree. Like yesterday, I was at work, and after listening to this channel before work, I was reminded of God love for me and that I was chosen. I felt wonderful I open my mouth to give him thanks and I started speaking in tongues, it did nothing for no one but, I felt great, was lovey dovey all day long, you couldn't annoy me even if you tried.

      THIS is the comment that needs to be pinned to the top as it is DEAD ON! Also tongues does NOT have to be a known "human" language. Marcus should have brought up the the "Wailing women" of the OT because there is spiritual power in things spoken but not in a "known" language. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

    I'm so glad that this conversation happened! The body needs to come together. Those that are seasoned in understanding, and those seasoned in popularity.. Marcus obviously has a larger fan base.. But, Corey, he's going to give you the word.. Like it or not.. The truth is what we are here for..

      lol Marcus is a C level Christian commentator. This is just facts. He’s very low level intellectually this is not debatable. Corey is great but Marcus is merely not equipped enough to be considered for anything high level
      Like a Super Bowl.

    The conversation that the Christian UA-cam space has needed for a long time. This is awesome to witness. God bless the both of these men for a mature conversation that blesses and humbles us all. Been a fan of Corey’s channel already, and this is the most humble I’ve ever seen Marcus. So much so that I will begin to look at him in a different light moving forward. Praise God

    Great discussion. I'm glad you two kept it respectful. As for asking another man "why don't I speak in tongues?" is a very unfair question. Thats between you and God why you don't. My answer is UNBELIEF though. You can't receive something you don't believe God for. Hence why The Word states "be it unto you according to your faith.
    There was a time I was frustrated I hadn't received this gift like others did and HOW they did when The Spirit filled them. I even said some things I shouldn't have to God because of it at the time. I believe some are jealous and bitter like I was at one point. I quickly repented and told God I would believe regardless. Then one day not too far from that day......BOOM He gave it to me. The experience was incredible to say the least. I pray in tongues alot in private and I have received Words from The Lord while doing so especially when i'm fasting alot. Then The Word gets confirmed usually shortly after that.
    I say that to say this. In these dark times that are only getting darker you better eagerly pursue every gift you can get or you will get slapped around by the enemy. In this season you better walk in POWER. And I mean real power. The time is now for God's Remnant to walk in all these gifts. Mighty exploits will be on display during these times among God's People. All will marvel and hopefully repent for their ignorance. Let God's Will be done in these last days. Many know ABOUT God. Few actually KNOW Him. There is a big difference. Shalom.

    This is awesome! My brothers in Christ! I'm hoping for Marcus to get out of this rejection issue because I believe that's what's hindering his spiritual growth. His heart is in the right place, quite frankly I'm surprised he agreed to come on here..we all have our own process of growth!❤
    To add to this comment, Marcus confessing his need for healing & coming on this podcast shows humility & I'm here for it!❤I definitely shed a tear or 2 near the end seeing the 2 smiling & laughing. I'm more joyous to see these 2 be able to have a dialogue with humility & respect!❤🎉🫶

    Thank you for showing believers how to resolve issues with the love of the Lord. The Bible tells us that we must go to one another if we have ought against them. The greatest thing that took place in this conversation is the humility that was shown and the compassion. When someone is broken or misunderstood, we should have a conversation to find out what is truly going on so that we can better relate to one another. This does not mean that we have to agree on everything, but that we can agree to disagree in love. Keep in mind that Marcus stated that he sought Corey out which tells me that he is sincerely looking for resolution and guidance. Should we turn our back on someone who is reaching out? God forbid. Kudos to both gentlemen for being honest, open, and transparent.

    I’ve been in a service where someone spoke out in tongues, during a hush, and the Lord put in my heart the interpretation, but I was too scared to speak out, it and then after a bit someone else gave the same interpretation that I had chickened out of giving and it was the exact same, and it was not a basic word, but a detailed word, and it was literally word for word what God had put on my heart to say.

    The groaning that the holy spirit does is beyond normal words. He is literally mourning for us he is filled with pain and compassion so he makes utterances for us with the heavenly tongue . The scripture says though we speak with tongues of men and angels. They are a distinctive statement.

    I believe that Acts 10:46-47 should clear up any confusion on what kind of tongues that Cornelius and the uncircumcised believers spoke. Peter says that they received the Holy Spirit just as we have, which is to say that they spoke in other languages (tongues) as Acts 2:11 says.
    I give thanks for both of you men, Corey and Marcus, for sitting down and having a civil and productive conversation, giving reason for the hope that lies within you, with gentleness and respect. May God bless and keep you both.
    “For they were hearing them speaking in tongues and extolling God. Then Peter declared, “Can anyone withhold water for baptizing these people, who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?””

    I'm so pleased to have witnessed this! To be honest, I wasn't pleased how Marcus was treated by many back then. ( not that I had agreed with his teachings, but I was praying for him and still do. Haven't been on his channel but I'll visit now and then to observe his growth ). Corey, I was disappointed with you how you treated him back then. However, this interview was palatable!! Thanks!
