How to Make Frijoles Charros

- Hello my beautiful fam welcome back to my kitchen, today I’m going to share with you my family’s recipe for frijoles charros! frijoles charros is a traditional pinto bean stew. We use this recipe for all of our family gatherings, it’s easy and delicious! Ingredients: 15-20 servings ( tip: if you don’t want your beans to be a little spicy, add less chile de árbol)
4lbs pinto beans
1 tbsp oregano
Salt to your taste
2 garlic cloves
2 small white onion
4 Roma tomatoes
1 chile jalapeño
1 bunch of cilantro
6 chile árbol
6 oz pork skin (chicharrón)
1 tube pork chorizo( I use beef because I don’t like pork ☝🏽)
1 package of wieners
12 oz bacon
Serve with tostadas or tortillas 😉

Everything u had on to ur hair,make up,it was beautiful, great recipe, we use the chicharrones they sell close to the carniceria at the store with the strechy film cover on it that comes with a little valentina packet lol,what part of Mexico are u n ur family from ? Were from Guerrero!!

I make mine like yours but I've never put chicharones, I'll have to try it next time I make them.

I’m self taught and I’ve learned that you always have to put the water first to boil and then add the beans with garlic and onion and the last thing you add is the salt because the salt tends to make the beans slower to cook

My sister-in-law is from Veracruz and she cooks her beans the same way.. except for the chicharrones
It's a different way to cook beans. Living in a Spanish community I've never seen beans cooked this way. Looks good

Everyone cooks their beans differently 🤷🏻♀️ I had it with it and it was soggy lol so I opt it out
my mom makes it with arroz blanco, is that common ?? because I’ve yet to see recipes that added rice and I’ve always had it like that but it’s nice to see the different ways people make it !
edit : nvm, i asked my mom if people normally put rice in frijoles charros and she said no that people eat it without the rice, but she said she just added rice because she felt like it would taste good and it does !

Love watching you 😋❤️ yo uso pinto beans, tocino, salchicha, jamon, y chorizo en esa orden, Pero guido todo por separado. Aparte guido tsmbien jitomate, cebolla, y cilantro. I add una lata de chiles Chipotle's y Chile's arbol y ovio sal al gusto y pollo en polvo. Kedan rikisimosss😋 pero con tostadas de las bolsa verde, roja, y amarilla las k estan triangulos.

my family is from Guerrero and the frijoles puercos we make are ticker consistency with cheese, olives and serrano peppers. what part of mexico is your family from. I find it so interesting that we know food by different names.

I never knew it had chicaronnes and wieners🤔🙄😬😒🤢. I am new to your channel due to ok a shout out from a youtubers trying your recipe. So far I have been binge watching all night and look forward to trying some of them. Not gonna lie I cook pero too much of like gringo comida 🤦♀️😂😂. So wanting to make more comida Mexicana you know what I mean.🤷♀️ I mean I do make some Mexican foods like enchiladas, menudo ..you know cosas facil jiji.

I made your recipe today, but I cooked it a little longer and added stew meat instead of hot dogs to make it more native America style. (Indian Tacos) I just wanna say this is the best beans my family and I have ever tasted!
I cqlled them burracho beans when I was growing up. My tia Martha made them at birthday parties, at the parks for East Sunday, church gatherings, etc. I loved them. I always told her I need her to show me how to make them. She doesnt add the chicharron, and Im not sure about chorizo. Hers also has a kick but I dont think she uses red peppers. I think she adds pickled jalapeno with juice. Not sure. But I bet these are yummy.
Girl first of all are you superwoman or what lol , there are a few videos I've already sern where you touch the hot pot/pan like nothing lol. Now on to the beans lol, I'm from San Antonio Tx and we (my family and I) call them beans borachos but they are made a bit like yours minus the winnies, chorizo , oregano and chicharones and we add beer . As they cook the alcohol content cooks off but they are super delicious too
