You could argue it’s overpriced or overrated, but they’re not comparable imo to gambling. Because being an online content creator is a gruelling non-stop job of trying to satisfy algorithms and trends and being a charismatic entertainer, which not everyone can do. These markets are also incredibly flooded with creators ranging from completely amateur zero viewers to full on high budget productions. It's very possible to make some money doing this stuff, but making enough to live off will take a lot more time and effort than just having a regular ass job.
