- A wild lynx got an earful from a farmer in British Columbia after it attacked a chicken coop on Feb. 21.
Chris Paulson managed to grab the lynx by the scruff of its neck when it refused to leave the henhouse.
B.C. officials are reminding people that those kind of interactions with wildlife are dangerous and illegal.

The Lynx being held like a disgraced domestic cat must be humiliating...
He was begging for the shotgun by the end of it. Shame worse than death
LOL humiliating. The lynx doesn't give a sh** of what happened. His instincts will bring him back without a doubt, but with more damages next time. When they find a pantry full of food, they ALWAYS come back.

I bet it won’t attack again after that lol
poor cat is just hungry it's just going of instincts
Is the Lynx tranquilized ?.. I don’t get it
I read the article, here's what basically happened:
He found the lynx inside the henhouse, it was backed into a corner. He grabbed it and decided to record himself and post the video on Facebook. It ended up going viral. He then put it in a dog carrier, drove a few miles away and released it into the woods.
There's more to the story, but I tried to condensed it for brevity.
Thanks!
Thanks. Since he was Canadian I figured as much. 🇨🇦👍
Thank you! I was seriously wondering what happened.

How can you be mad at the animal for practicing survival?

I read the Lynx line in Khajiit voice :D
"I will eat another!"
Yes
Farmer: *BANG* No, you wont.
Lynx as a khajiit: "This one will eat a few more."
The grumbling in response to his banter is so priceless.

For those who are curious - the farmer dint press any charges and the Lynx walked away free.

@@randomguy-dy3uy you got the right idea it's more of a trance than actual paralyzation since theyre not actually frozen they just instinctually stay still. As they get older they are less inclined to being held that way though so maybe this is a younger cat?

That cat is sooo in trouble! So grounded!
He's carrying a lynx around by the scruff? Seriously? I am afraid of this guy.
I don't know if it's true but grown up cats behave when they're grabbed by the collar or scruff if they were raised properly by their mother. Having their scruffs gripped tightly reminds them of their mother holding them.

this doode got the no shits attitude xD
@@aeoncalcos7830 has nothing to do with how cats are raised. its a natural reflex pretty much all cats have, so they dont move or make a big fuzz when mom grabs them by the scruffs. even works with cats that didnt grow up with a mother and were entirely raised by humans. its evolutionary built in reflex :)
