I once had an exchange student from a culture where people don't usually have pets. He was intrigued by how Americans treat pets like friends and family, and he took an interest in our office cat. Eventually he started to race her to his dorm, which was only about 30 yards from the office. She wasn't fast like this cat, so he pretend raced her like you would a small child. It was extraordinary to watch an adult bond with an animal for the first time.
@@IllusionQueen4Eva In many counties, especially poor countries, everything has a function. Animals are food or they are workers (dogs for protection, cats for ratting, donkeys for transport). It doesn't mean that the people are cruel or unfeeling. It's just logistics. Having a pet for the sheer pleasure of its companionship is usually a luxury of wealthy cultures.
She is so beautiful especially when she was sitting on top of the boulder. And man she run super fast, on slowmo you can really see how far she’s jumping from point a to point b😁 You both are so lucky to have found each other❤️🥰
5.8 over 60 meters is already faster than Usain Bolt. I think if Usain in his prime could maybe outrun her with a flying start-like in a relay-over 100 meters but not the 200. Those four paws make a lot of difference.
@@danielcobbins8861 true! For legged creatures that run, are effectively airborne most of the time. Its like cougars. Those cats are fast sprinters but when they chase down prey, they make huge leaps in quick succesion to cover the distance.

She's such a beautiful cat with such spirit. She's enjoying life to the fullest. Thank you for being an amazing cat dad and giving her a beautiful life 💖
She has such an intelligence about her - something very special. Very nice to see a well cared for cat that is obviously appreciative of the life she has with her people. Well done.
Animals and humans age differently. An older cat is not the same as an older human. Just because they live about 20 years doesn't mean that a 14 year old cat is equivalent to a human senior citizen.
I am from North Europe and from the countryside and we always had cats run around on the farm since i was a toddler. As well as dogs etc... The oldest one that i can remember reached 17 years that my mother was really fond of. She named him "Donut"... Big brawly white and black male tomcat that was the "king of the tribe" so to speak. His territory was also vast. He did not even accept diplomats... I remember those midnight "meetings"... on the field with him and some other cats from across the road... Imagine getting sleep... Haha. ANyway, God bless them and, i will say this, If a cat is over 20 years in human years without any prominent medical attention, its really an amazing feat.
She is definetely living her best life. It's obvious that she loves her outdoor escapades. She reminds me of my late Norwegian Forest cat who loved going for walks. When he got older I bought a stroller for him to ride in. He loved it. ❤️
It is such a joy to watch Fluffy, and see her running. She looks like my adorable Bunny Hug ,who is the twin brother of my beautiful Huggy Bunny, the magnificent, the awesome king.
Wow , I’m shocked her fur doesn’t slow her down. I think it makes her faster. So freaking cute, absolutely sweet and so enlightening to see what a strong bond you have with her. Gorgeous beautiful cat, what a sweetheart! Give her love and cuddles for us viewers!!
I've had Maine Coon mixes, a Ragdoll, and a Turkish Angora mix. The fur definitely hasn't slowed mine down at all. My Ragdoll was definitely not built for sports. Unless cuddling or eating were sports. Lol. But my Maine Coon mixes have all been extremely athletic. My Amour will turn 15 this month and he still runs and plays and climbs. And my 3 year old Turkish Angora mix, Marina-Bunny, runs through the home like a crazy-kitten still. The fur can get mats and it can cause hairballs. But aside from that, it definitely doesn't slow them down. 💖🐾💖🐾
So true. My cat hates outside. Wants nothing to do with it. She was a sick, starving feral rescue at a year old from a cold, damp forest, so I think that's why. At 13 years old she's still quite content inside the safety of home on her plush beds looking outside. :)
@@alexapuerta Most of my cats I had growing up were rescued ferals and they were the same way! They loved to look out the window but were TERRIFIED to go back outside!

Ha and he's not slacking either you know he's not going to win but he runs as fast as he can. 2 good friends having fun. @Zone Exactly we can't assume the cats gender identity my childs dog is a girl dog but it's so territorial the neighbors think it's a boy dog so maybe the dog is lbgt? If anything my childs dog is a tomboy dog. A tomdog?
@janetduncan87 why do you refer to her as an "it"? She is a SHE. "It" refers to a thing or inanimate object. Cats are living beings and should never be referred to as "it"? Did you even comprehend the video where the owner repeatedly refers to her as SHE?
It's also a testament of why I prefer having a cat with some outdoor space for it to explore vs having a cat always locked at home/apartment because it's too dangerous for it to go outdoors... because cats, just like people, can exhibit a totally different behavior depending on (how stimulating) the environment available for them to explore.
@@englishatheart I don't refuse to take responsibility for my cat's safety, I just prefer to have my cats in the adequate (and safe) conditions for them. It's relatively safe for your cat to be locked at the apartment all the time but, from personal experience, that's not how I like to see my cats living and it's questionable if it's 'responsible' at all to have a lonely cat locked at home. I also had cats while living in places with lovely (and relatively safe) outdoor fields for them to explore and get along with other cats, and that's by far my preferable condition to have cats.
She`s fast as lightning, but no wonder - she`s most likely a siberian forest cat! They can run fast, jump high and far. Using her energy like this makes her a calm and very friendly cat. Had a Silver-Bengal/EKH mixbreed tomcat, he was like her. He wanted go out with me every day if the weather was not too wet. Playing fetch on a forest glade was his best playtime, he was so fast i couldn`t see his legs anymore. I never had any chance to run faster than this powerful boy. At home, he was a deep relaxed snugglebug and teached me how to relax, just watching time flying by. Cats are great 💓

OMG! A flying floof! She's just loving life, amazing!! 😊🐾
😆
She is honestly the most beautiful cat I’ve ever seen
@@udontevenwannaknowbruvIsn't she! I've watched this so many times, it always makes me smile. 😊
That must've been awesome for you to see xxx
I love it when people who are not cat people bond with a cat and love them after meeting their companion.
I wonder what kind of culture that is.. They're missing out.
I think these were swedish.
And man she run super fast, on slowmo you can really see how far she’s jumping from point a to point b😁
You both are so lucky to have found each other❤️🥰

She deserves an Olympic gold medal for sprints!
She may win the Boston Marathon, one day.
5.8 over 60 meters is already faster than Usain Bolt. I think if Usain in his prime could maybe outrun her with a flying start-like in a relay-over 100 meters but not the 200. Those four paws make a lot of difference.
@@GullibleTarget Plus, she does a lot of jumping, so that helps her race ahead.
@@danielcobbins8861 true! For legged creatures that run, are effectively airborne most of the time. Its like cougars. Those cats are fast sprinters but when they chase down prey, they make huge leaps in quick succesion to cover the distance.
@@GullibleTarget I'm curious about one thing. I wonder if Rackarkatten hunts. Their is a whole forest and field full of potential prey, plus, in the video, she was catching bugs.
This is one of the most beautiful and fun cats I’ve ever seen. What a great spirit and companion.
That’s why I love cats. Dogs naturally love people, but a cat’s companionship has to be earned. (Unless you’re allergic to them- in which case they seem to be very friendly. 😉)

Norwegian Forest Cat. They used to ride with the Vikings in their Longboats so they would eat the rats.
@@shelley_northwest Funny fact about the Norwegian forest cat is that it is not Native to Norway and it is not its own species. There are two types, first one short haired British cat which was brought to Norway at the very end of the viking age and than the long haired which the crusaders brought here in the middle ages

She’s 14 years old, that’s like 90 in human years! She’s damn fast and agile for a senior cat.
I think you are counting dog years not cat years
Ya I've seen cats live to be 30; although very rare.
My cat died 21. That's more like 90y.o., though not entirely
What beautiful creature. You are truly blessed to have her.

She is definetely living her best life. It's obvious that she loves her outdoor escapades. She reminds me of my late Norwegian Forest cat who loved going for walks. When he got older I bought a stroller for him to ride in. He loved it. ❤️

I have a cat just like her. We named her M. And M is fat and fast

Beautiful kitty. It takes its runs very seriously. Look on the kitty's face is the look of determination. I love how it takes long leaps. 😌

@janetduncan87 why do you refer to her as an "it"? She is a SHE. "It" refers to a thing or inanimate object. Cats are living beings and should never be referred to as "it"? Did you even comprehend the video where the owner repeatedly refers to her as SHE?
U need to write & publish a book about this sweet kitty! She might inspire more children to run too! ❤🐾🐾
The fact that she can freely explore and run to her hearts content is just a testament of y’all’s love and trust,a brave owner and a loyal pet
Only thing that would scare me in this particular case would be foxes and coyotes.
@@you2be839 So you refuse to take responsibility for your cat's safety. They should not be allowed outside off a leash.
@@englishatheart Now that there's a dogshit opinion.
The man really carved out a cool runnings track in the snow for his cat, that’s love 💕
