    Bro thanks for this video. I've been wanting a new pair of work boots and have been looking at these and their perry line

      These are good boots. I didn't reach out to whites and ask about a resole and was quite shocked at the price of $280. I'll probably end up taking them to a local cobbler and getting a price that way.

      Those are on sale right now for I think $275. They have a few different pairs that are 20% and 25% off, but I think the sale ends tomorrow. This is a Labor Day sale, but I’m pretty sure they do this same sale 2x a year.

    Does that style sole work well for walking around in snow & some ice patches?

    Based off where your toes are, it doesn’t look like you sized down at all. Did you order your sneaker size?

    • @MainelyEverything
      @MainelyEverything  3 місяці тому +1

      I went a half size down from sneaker size

    Thanks for the video. How did you determine your size? Using their fitting guide I’m also 9.5D. Your mention of the tight fore foot gives me some pause as I like a some wiggle room for my toes.

      I have plenty of room width wise. The only issue is that the top of the boot somewhat sits on the top of your foot/toes. Not to where you can't move them, but it does take getting used to. And I just went down a half size from my normal shoes size.

    Do they have some kind of lining or is that just the other side of the leather?

    • @MainelyEverything
      @MainelyEverything  Рік тому +1

      Other side or the leather. No lining on then all natural

      @@MainelyEverything Did you order D or EE? Would you say they fit on the wider side or more narrow?

    • @MainelyEverything

      @wyattcollins957 I got D. My feet are not that wide tho. I'd check to see what they say on their site for width.

      @@MainelyEverythingthe vamp should be leather lined. Meaning the front part of the boot.

    Great to see boots from a guy who works in them rather than the folks who buy them because it’s a fad and all their buddies wear wear boots. Having had these into their “patina” contest would have probably scared them.
