@@Jsfilmz I have the MoCap Pro Studio Glove on order ($2,745), but I REALLY want to try the reality ($700) gloves. All the hand mocapping I am currently doing is with the Valve Index controllers, and while it is pretty good, this looks WAY better.
hahaha yea i saw that but then again peeps been using mocap in games for awhile i got respect for that mocap artists are under appreciated man they legit give their body up for games
Now the thing I think most people would want to know. How would you use something like this to have a character pick something up without it looking bad?
Man these prices for gloves are crazy. When Perception Neuron first introduced gloves like in 2015 they were $100 per hand. Mind you they were three fingered sensors and then guesstimated the other two fingers (ring and pinky) in software. The fight for this market has resulted in overpriced gouging. Where are the cheap glove innovators?
JSFilmz again thanks for the video. I'm getting close to getting some mocap gear for myself and will be purchasing a helmet from you soon. Was curious if you have tried using the Cascadeur animation program at all yet? Any thoughts on it?
I’m interested in purchasing studio gloves for use in unreal engine. I understand that the gloves give live finger data. Do the gloves also give positional data for the location of the hands, or is it only fingers? If it’s just fingers, what more would I need in order to track the position of the hands.
Is retopology still necessary for custom models being used for metahuman animator? I wasn't sure if UE had a unique way of rendering meshes with tons of geometry
Hi JS! What mocap suit would you recommend for capturing laying down movement and rapid action scene movement on a budget? Do you think Mocopi is good for this or would need something like awinda? Thanks!
No more dead hands for now!
My vision is getting closer! 👍
Oh nice! I have some gloves on order: really hope they arrive soon! Thanks for the tips
which one did you buy?

@@Megasteakman cool man yea i think they are sending me the $700 which is far as i know same as $2700 just different output software options
What an incredible way to give UE the fingers! 😉 Really awesome tech.
hahahaha
Informative as always! Thank you for the vid and little gaming fact, The Bauldur's Gate 3 director said they Mo Capped every NPC in their game. Crazy!

Very promising. Be interested to see your test in a few weeks of the 'entry level' indie gloves too.
Been waiting for gloves this nice. Guess I’m going to have to put some money aside 😂
i think they are sending me the $750 to test also so you wont have to maybe spend $7K lol
