The thing is, Jimmy has a bad habit of making foolish decisions without having the skills or charisma to get himself out of trouble, like Scar. In Third Life he burned Dogwarts banner in front of Ren and Martyn, forcing Scott and him to go to the Sand People for allies. In Last Life, he broke the trust exercise of the Southlanders and ended up exiled. Tango is a chaos loving risk taker who will seek revenge if angered, like in Last Life when Bdubs killed him after he gave Bdubs a life. Both of them haven't really thought about acquiring allies, although the Warden incident did give Tango a lot of "Don't mess with the crazy man" points that did get Scar to try to restore peace between them (which also got them killed).
Yeah, Scar has like Speech 100 and no other person on Life SMP or Hermitcraft comes even close. This guy can push you into lava, get away with it and even sell you a block of dirt after all of this.
@@Nakaska I think part of it is that Scar is very good at playing the fool to the point where nobody can ever be quite sure what's foolishness and what's genuine strategy. Add that to him dying a lot (which he himself put down to typically not really paying much attention to danger but trying more in the life series which does kinda check out) and you've got someone who seems much more harmless than he is and who can get away with a lot due to not being seen as a danger.
To be fair, they weren't so much defending Grian and Scar as "turning Grian and Scar into collateral damage" since the Cake Fort boys were never supposed to be the target in that attack. If our Ranching friends had not gone over to get some enchanted stuff, it's likely that the attack by Joel and Etho would've happened in the ranch instead. With all those flaming arrows, we'd probably be looking at Ranch Mk 3 for this episode.
Those two are unfortunately an accident waiting to happen, they're risk takers trying to be tougher than they actually are. It's the schemers who survive, having a good grasp on where they stand with others and whether they should be playing nice or not. Grian and Scott especially are good schemers, being generally nice on the surface, but also creating discord when they have the opportunity, before resuming their nice act. Hence why they are dangerous, and why they are the past winners.
I feel like this just adds to the comedic patheticness of them. It's literally their personality at this point if it were a tv show so I actually love this.
Despite all the contradictions and shenanigans, it really comes down to the actions. Team Ranch is sure to be against SmolEtho now, they killed them last episode! Right? Right…? I have a feeling this will age like milk.

I didn't even think about that much, but you are absolutely right. And the inconsistency is a big part of why they are so fun to watch, I think. They both have no idea what's going on at any given time, Tango wants wardens everywhere and Jimmy is just Jimmy. They are broke, they don't have a clue who they are allied with, no logic, just chaos. They don't make a lot of sense, but they are such a fun duo
They are like a firework at this point, very deadly at close quarters, aesthetic from afar, and very quick to the end with how they’re making enemies and friends with everyone PFFT
I love the chaos. Team ranchers and the Boat Boys are my favorite ones to watch heheh. I'm very excited for tomorrow's episode to see how the situations they've gotten themselves into play out.
My thoughts on winning chances: 7. Scott would have a chance at another victory if he wasn't paired with Pearl- I think she would jump off a cliff just to spite him at this point 6. Tango and Solidarity don't have good enough relations with the others, and neither of them are particularly good at PvP or negotiation 5. Cleo and Martin are more stable than Scott and Pearl, and both players are pretty good, but ultimately their separation decreases their chances of winning 4. Scar and Grian have done the best so far, but as we've seen in other life series, that means they're probably the next targets for the redlifes on the server- they still have a chance though 3. Ren and BigB have a very convoluted relationship, but I do think that when they're in trouble, they'll work together. The fact that they ruined the pool party makes them unlikely to make teammates though 2. Impulse and Bdubs have a great relationship with each other, but because of their conning of the other server members they have a target on their backs 1. Joel and Etho probably have the best chances! Both are quite skilled, and they haven't done anything to tick off other members. They are on red though, so they only have one chance

tbf, team ranchers have the same exact energy as scar does but scar inexplicably dodges responsibility and tango doesn't fully understand how bullying will take any route to jimmy.

They are the best duo by miles, but they have used up all of their impulse control on stopping tango from burning the pandas right after the ranch burnt down. I dont expect them to win but I am begging them to just not be last place.

Tango was elsewhere desperately eating and holding his shield up like it would somehow help 😭 tango had what jimmy needed but they were too far apart

XD I do love everyone’s pov’s and think all the team couples are awesome not trying to cause a war with what couple team is better just saying I love desert duo cause they make me laugh. 😎 👏

Scar has more charisma than the two of them combined (unfortunately) and he’s very slippery. It’s a chaotic tactic I think only scar can utilize fully
