- Just checking out the Voigtlander 50 1.5 VM Leica mount lens and wow is it GORGEOUS. This video is sort of screwed up as i used a go pro and I was too close to the lens so focus is off but it still shows the lens, the build, the hood and has my thoughts on it.
The lens is beautiful and now my main 50 for my M 240.

That gem was aesthetically beautiful. Not something I usually care about lenses, but that classic old canon was special.
The people at Cosina are putting out some amazing stuff lately. Aside from the super wides this is the most tempting thing yet from CV in M mount. I don't think I would regret the extra $250 for chrome. Lifetime lens!
Just got one of these (in black) very nice.
Seriously, that lense looks amazing!
A chrome lens hood might cause light reflections into the lens
I think there's sample photos with this lens on the xe1 on his review idk
How much does this one cost?
...question is, this lens, or old B/85% user grade Leica Summilux 50? That is the more likely choice rather than this vs new 50/1.4 ASPH Summi don't you think - style and $-wise? Would love to see you compare this lens to one of those old&used options.
is the aperture is this lens clickless? it seems that way from the video
The images in this video have serious distortion, what camera are you using to record?
Not if, like every other company in the world, they put black velvet on the inside of the hood. I don't think a chromed hood is too much to ask for, especially since the chrome model is already $200 more than the black.
how does it compare to the 50 lux asph ? :)
its not camera related but please do a review of some KRK KNS headphones please, they really took me by surprise especially without a decent amp
go pro? why? you have so much good cameras:)
Sadly the video itself is focus on the Leica M in the background....
Nice
The video is good,
The aim is good,
The leica is good,
the focus of your video camera is not good.
thanks for sharing,
Canon 50s from the 50s xD
