Great job, it looks beautiful! A tip about the stitching, make sure your needle doesn't go through the thread that's already in the hole when you push it through, since splitting the thread weakens it. Other than that, keep on and have fun!
Thanks Irene! I really appreciate it! I didn’t notice I had gone through the thread until I was editing the video unfortunately 😅 definitely need to pay closer attention next time
Great vid, with nice pacing too. I’ve enjoyed following along on Insta watching the process and was great to see the final result here. Home win for Wolves. 👌👌
Really appreciate that mate! Was concerned by the video length because it’s just me having a go but hopefully it can inspire others 😊 I’m well chuffed with the results
Thanks James! I’ve been really pleased with the K40. Had great results cutting wood and plastics. I thought leather would be the same… unfortunately not haha
I think I will have a go at this but it will the mighty THFC I’m afraid. If you are going to do more leather work Harry Rogers is a good channel to check out.
Thanks Andy! I love Harrys Channel 👌 Think I’m going to have to invest in some more leather working bits and bobs haha I can’t approve of your team selection though 😂
id like to see this with only two pieces of leather in the lighter color one and just glu the sides and logo the top of the backside of the wood but its an awesome wallet not trying to knock the awesome wallet you made
So just have the one pocket? That could look really nice, would allow for much more of the coloured leather to be seen. Thanks Caleb! Always really helpful to get different ideas and points of view, will have a play around with it 😊
Great video joe Amazing card wallet for your first attempt mate I think you might need to go into production with those it came out amazing well done buddy Brad What make is your printer I’m after a cheap one just for engraving on wood
Thanks mate! Really appreciate it 🙏 Always funning having a go at something new. Definitely making some for friends and see if anyone else wants some custom designs. The laser I have is known as a K40 CO2 laser. The brand is a bit ambiguous though as they seem to change constantly😅 I bought mine from Amazon to give myself a bit more protection
@@AverageJoesJoinery Hi mate I’m after getting one that will take router/engraving bits and you can change to laser engraving as well Do you have any pointers? Thanks brad
Ahh I see mate. It’s a cnc machine you want then. I’ve only used an X-Carve and a Trend Smartbench myself personally so I’m not well versed in other options. Definitely worth doing some research and watching some reviews. There are a lot of cheap small machines knocking about. Might even find some second hand if you’re lucky too
Thus is why I follow your channel, always something different and something most people can have a cracking at, looks stunning
Thats very kind of you to say Neil, thank you 🙏 ❤️ I always enjoy giving new ideas a go and hopefully inspiring others to have a go too 😊
It's called a stitching pony Joe, nice job!!
Thats it! The name completely lost me haha Cheers mate! 🙏❤️

If you dont try, you dont know, turned out really nice. 👍
So true! I’d always sooner try and fail then not try at all 😊

@@AverageJoesJoinery great. Take care
😳 wolves!! Great job …….. boing boing 👍😂😂😂😂
hello if you can put some masking tape over your leather where it will be cut you can stop the scortching:)
Thats a great tip Mark! I’ll have to give it a try 😊 was surprised how it struggled to cut through
