Well actually most films are coming out of WM Gold Coast studios Australia. I believe true talent is Ireland - they have every talent force in their little country.
First one was really good... it's a slow burn but keeps you interested entire time! To be honest, I have never been a fan of Eric Bana (he did however do a great job in Blackhawk Down), but he was excellent in The Dry. Looking forward to this one!!!
The first film was a pretty good small town police detective drama, nothing groundbreaking or anything. I like that Eric Bana's Falk wasn't the usual bad ass police officer which stood out the most and was flawed at his job. This one was released in Australia nearly two months ago. Has a decent score on IMDB. Always great to see Anna Torv in anything and it looks like she has a decent sized role in this one.
This plot is similar to the real life story about the missing girl on the yoga retreat. Her friends all came back except her and they did not cooperate with/the authorities.
The Dry was a very good movie, but it did not establish Aaron Falk as that good of a detective. Also: the forest doesn't look very dry? So I'm a bit confused about the branding.
It was a hit in Australia. Pretty good small town detective story. Eric Bana was very good in it. Seems like the films will be based around his character.
This, was basically my childhood, in Idyllwild CA. I wrote the true crime thriller, and it’s coming to the big screen. Idyllwild - Under Tahquitz’s Spirit
Chaos! Millions of dollars are spent on crap like this, when they could actually create learning institutions for skill development for underprivileged children. The lack of logic is surreal!
What are you on about? The film industry has nothing to do with any of that. Thats government crap. Stop being a political nutter and go away. Plus there spending 10 million to make more money, which can be put towards schools, which it wont because this is the bloody film industry, not the government
If Australia had 007, this guy would be him..
Brilliant actor..
Kinda sad his star faded so fast.
Prince hector has reborn, just in a different time, love eric bana
I see Anna Torv, I click.
agreed !!
I seebushmen, I click.
They really are making some really good stuff out in Australia at the moment.

Misses took me to goldclass to see this movie, thank god i could drink because it was boring asf.
I heard "out there" far too much...more bad script writing....the achilles heel of australian film.
Chaos! Millions of dollars are spent on crap like this, when they could actually create learning institutions for skill development for underprivileged children. The lack of logic is surreal!
Brother what. This was an incredibly low budget movie. It costed just $10millon. Wtf are you doing for underprivileged kids besides crying online.
10 million??? Wow, that's 10 schools!
@@lloydrobert6182 no, no it’s not schools cost way more than that
