Considering the option of a foundation with or without a basement, in the format of using foundation concrete blocks, it seems that the difference is not great. And the question of additional 2-3 rows of blocks seems not so critical against the background of the entire construction.
In this video, I schematically displayed the phased construction of the basement floor from FBS blocks and the ceiling from round-hollow slabs. Such a scheme for assembling building structures clearly displays the process of building a foundation with a basement.
I schematically displayed part of the drawings to understand the scope of design work and deliberately removed the entire text part so as not to harm, since I know that many people take such published drawings as a ready-made standard solution, but unfortunately this is not the case.
Any foundation begins with engineering and geological surveys. Based on the geological report, the foundation is calculated, in this example, a monolithic tape was assigned, the width of which was assigned from the loads of the house and the calculated soil resistance under the tape. After sampling the soil and clay to the design depth, I consider it most expedient to level and compact with large-format crushed stone no more than the size of the maximum fraction with mandatory tamping into the base. The next layer is concrete preparation, which makes it possible to apply waterproofing and install frames with formwork. Further reinforcing cages, formwork, concreting, FBS blocks, a monolithic belt, floor slabs and concrete framing of slabs.
Of course, one of the most complex technological processes is waterproofing and warming the basement of the foundation.
