In this video, I'm going to review my trip with Singapore Airlines, SQ286 from Auckland to Singapore with 777-312ER. The aircraft registration number is 9V-SNA. I'm so excited because this is my first time boarding 9V-SN#'s aircraft. It's still considered as a new aircraft with 4-class cabin onboard e.g. First, Business, Premium Economy and Economy classes. Cabin crew were very attentive and friendly. It was a smooth flight. Special note to one of the SIA ground staff, Miss Anna for being so helpful and friendly. She has a very cheerful and friendly disposition.
From the security check to boarding gate, it requires a long walk. But you can enjoy plane spotting along the way to your gate. Singapore Airlines' B777-312ER economy class has only 9 seats in a row instead of 10 which is commonly found on all other airlines nowadays. All passengers received an amenity bag and other amenities are probably available upon request and availability. SQ's signature hot towel services is indeed a wonderful service and they also provide a menu card in the economy class. After the meal service, cabin crew set up a snack bar in the galley. Cabin crews also go round the cabin almost every 20 minutes, proving water, juice and snack which I do really appreciate it. Do you love Singapore Sling?

Definitely worth the dollar. Singapore Airlines cabin crew are friendly and helpful. My trip with Singapore Airlines is always a memorable one.

Fantastic trip report
Singapore Airlines is definitely my first option unless it doesn't fly to the place that I wanted to go. Hopefully I can in their first class soon once the pandemic is over. Great video.

@@Dragflyer9669 LAX, and yes, the A350 flies nonstop to SIN. The flight to Tokyo continuing to SIN is also here. I'm debating where to go next, probably domestic for now and maybe in June or July.
I loved the color scheme of the Economy Class cabin onboard SQ's B777-300ER. It has a warm and welcoming feel to it. :)

A nice review of SIA's Boeing 777-300ER my friend! I have never been to New Zealand and it is high up on my list of countries to visit.
You must visit New Zealand if you happen to plan for a trip. And indeed SIA uses A350 to Wellington (via Melbourne) and Christchurch. I will return to NZ again but to the South Island.

I always choose Singapore Airlines, more often. Cause it is the best, try getting a picture with the cabin crew, cause it is not only awesome, but they are nice even as a supporter of this airline.

New rules which i wasnt aware of means if you fly onward to europe on SQ like AKL-SIN-FRA then they seize your liquor in Changi if purchased & sealed at auckland airport.
I am doing HKT-SIN-CPH & SQ made me aware of this...
If you buy a souvenir bottle then it sounds annoying.
Yet they still allow it in checked luggage.

Worth it? hell ya! Every dime and every penny wow 🥰 Singapore airline is definitely the best time and again for a great reason :)
Indeed. Sometimes I don't mind to pay that extra penny just to board the SIA flight. Unless if the fare difference is too huge.

Exactly. Those are premium economy. And premium economy passengers have 3-option meals and enjoy free flow of champagne too. (If I'm not mistaken)
Singapore Airlines is the best.
And they kept the 3-3-3 seating in Economy Class unlike other airlines that have the cramped 3-4-3 layout in the B777-300.
Totally agree. Not many airlines retain 3-3-3 seating configurations in Economy class these days.

You should have taken a window seat and recorded the take off, landing and the views.
I will always go for window seat if I have a travel companion for flight above 4 hours. Else I opt for aisle seat (travel alone) so that I don't need to bother my neighbour all the time if I want to use the lavatories or just walk around and see if there is anything I can film. Maybe next time I should change seat with strangers before landing.

Singaporean here, in my opinion, SIA service getting downgrade these recent years. Expensive and overrated. Legroom used to be so big but now they added seats in aircraft. Not my fav anymore.
I do agree with you in terms of the legroom and airfare. When I boarded EVA Air this March, I was surprised to find out that they have very roomy legroom. Hopefully SQ can consider slash its price a bit lower. Thank you for dropping by Junki.
