- Walter Hill is one of my favorite directors ever, so when Imprint decided they were going to put some of his best and under-watched movies in one box set, I had to get it. Check out this unboxing of the Directed By... Walter Hill (1975-2006) Blu-Ray Box Set!
Walter Hill has been directing films for almost 50 years and has established himself a reputation of delivering thrilling, gritty, and highly stylized films.
This special edition set collects five films and one landmark miniseries from one of the most important and influential filmmakers of modern cinema.

Streets of Fire and Southern Comfort are my two favourites by Hill.
I love that this set uses the original theatrical poster art for each movie.
The Driver is superb.
Johnny Handsome is underrated.
I would love to get that Walter Hill set.
Might have to check the secondary market or some stores like DiabolikDVD, I think Imprint sold out of their stock over the weekend.
This looks great. Unfortunately, I already have Hard Times, The Long Riders & Extreme Prejudice on Blu-ray and Broken Trail on DVD.
Yeah, not really worth the upgrade if you already have most of these movies.

I just got this set at JB hi-fi sale in Australia 20% off $180aud
Not a big fan of the flip trays - they break easily. I'd prefer they have a disc space on both inside covers like Europe and the US

LOL Definitely gonna have to buy this box set, I wonder if they'll include The Warriors in the next one.
Do the discs play on American Blu Ray players? Or do you have to play it on a region-free Blu Ray player?
On of my favorite movies from on of my favorite directors( Walter Hill)Hard Times is called Streetfighter in Europe.Even his lesser movies are still entertaining ( Last Man Standing or Bulllet to the Head, Johnny Handsome)Hill also wrote The Getaway and produced Alien
Hill and David Giler were the uncredited writers of Alien.
Living in the UK for me this is not worth the price. Hard Times has a better edition on Eureka, The Driver and Extreme Prejudice are also readily available. I would like The Long Riders and Johnny Handsome though. The Long Riders is probably his best in my opinion but have not seen JH or Broken Trail.
That makes sense, I’m gonna check out Broken Trail soon.
@@HunterBoldingVideo Broken Trail which I've heard is good, I don't know why but I just don't fancy that. I think it would of been a better set with Southern Comfort. Anyway I'm currently trying to quit collecting so please ignore my negativety.
