One of the best Samurai movies ever made!! It’s on prime
小学校の時は戦闘シーンと歌がカッコ良すぎて何十回も見た。
ビデオに親父の達筆で激突って書いてあるのを、テープにカビが生えるまで見てたなぁ
This is an epic rollercoaster samurai & ninja film. Highly Recommended!
I love the old japanese 🇯🇵 samurai movies.
Even Akira Kurosawa and Toshiro Mifune inspired me to watch their old classic movies,
such as SEVEN SAMURAI, RASHOMON,
HIDDEN FORTRESS and YOJIMBO.
And this 1980's movie looks so awesome,
I definitely must see it 😺👍.
A big retrospective like 👍 from
Vantaa, Finland 🇫🇮.
It is over the top, with some unrealistic moves, but this is Japanese production so it must be better than so many Chinese, or to be more precise Hong Kong-made marshal art movies, cheap and almost laughable from the same time period.
If Bruce Lee was "the Fred Astaire of martial arts," Sonny Chiba was the genre's Clint Eastwood!
I'm here because I can't get enuff of FX Shogun...can't wait to watch this flick!

I have seen this in my childhood. It has a precious place in my heart. Of course The Alfee soundtrack made this more popular.
数年前に公式がUA-camに全編公開してましたが、公開期間が終わってしまったようです。
当時は時代劇が最も衰退していた時期に時代劇復活を期して制作されましたが、それが成らず興行成績も伸びなかった。今だったら大ヒット間違いなし、海外でも公開されている事でしょう。それだけに惜しい。綺麗に修正して再公開出来ないのかな
今は亡き緒形拳、千葉真一、丹波哲郎等、すごい俳優さんばかりですね。観たかった映画の一つです。

めちゃめちゃ面白い映画です。京本政樹さんの悪役よかったですね
Cool action scenes, but the upbeat music here 2:05 coupled with the murder and chaos of war feels pretty weird XD
