This answer does not constitute legal advice and you should contact an attorney to confirm or research further any statements made in this answer. Any statements of fact or law I have made in this answer pertain solely to Federal law as construed within the EEOC or the laws of New York State and should not be relied upon in any way in any other jurisdiction.
Winning a discrimination case can be very profitable. Winning a retaliation charge can be a game changer because attorney fees most times are awarded in a retaliation win.
Thank you for all of your legal advice through this channel! Question? Have you ever tried seamoss for your cough? Also, it may be a side effect from certain meds such as blood pressure meds. I hope that it subsides for you because I know it's irritating. Again, thank you for what you provide to those who need it. #WeAreFarmers👑
I am always here I love the information
Good evening thanks for your videos very helpful I have a question I think you might can answer I have a active eeoc claim after the job was served with eeoc letter I was suspended 2days after and ongoing now has lead to termination I’m under protected activity but my biggest question is have you ever heard of the employer hiring a 3rd party investigator to cover them but they actually lied to protect the employer or can you speak on 3rd party investigators that hire there own investigator to make a decision on the employee who has the eeoc claim on them
Hello, I’ve been listening to your channel for a while now and I appreciate all your advice. I have a couple of claims including retaliation. Looks like you’re in NY so I’ll be calling you soon.
Thank you,
@@ProSePlaintiff why are you listening to his channel if he’s not one of the good ones? I’m just about to begin my search so please elaborate.
@@ProSePlaintiff so? Obviously he passed the bar?
Thank you for responding, I really appreciate it.
Its my user name. I have no one to hide from. Its fine@ProSePlaintiff
He used my UA-cam name. It's perfectly fine
A colleague of mine provided over 200 plus docs in case of discrimination, is that excessive?
Can you do a video on ADA FAILURE TO ACCOMMODATE
the Executive Vice President of Strategic Client Service Operations came to my deposition. The apex doctrine usual provides protection for high-level executives from deposition, could you explain why they would come to sit in on my deposition? This person started working there 2 years after i was fired. Also other side Attorney stated that their client was pissed they had no idea that every single one of my phone calls were recorded in and out of my cell phone, and now that changes the settlement number. Is this a good thing. Yes i caught the racism on tape 3 seperate times. Which they needed to stop being cheap and Supply me with telecommunication devices or pay for my cell. They did neither. I live on Long Island and I work for an insurance company.
I would think that arguing an executive emissary doctrine pierces the shield of the apex doctrine when it can be established that you contacted a high level executive directly and that the executive’s emissary replied to you.
@carolmosher7745 I definitely agree. I'm actually wondering what would have made him appear in the 1st place? Normall the Executives of multi million Dollar corporations never show up & hide behind the Apex doctrine. Just to be clear. I did not contact him however when I walked in to To give my deposition he was there
Hey Vincent? What kind of number should I be asking for in mediation or in general for a FMLA case?
Vince has done a few videos on calculating damages. They are very hrlpful and have good insight. Look them up.
@@MyOtherChannel-zy3tf Much as I appreciate Vince and the helpful info he shares, when it comes to damages he is clearly biased in favor of the employer.
@carolmosher7745 he may be more realistic since some claimants want millions when their case is not worth that amount.
To make a long story short..our district manager cut my PT hours from 29 to 8..approximately..hours go up and down...its never consistent any more..what can be done..i told both managers..store and district..in may that i want full time...well they bypassed me and just hired a new employee..now were overstaffed..and my hours are reduced again....What action can i take??
