Vince thanks for the Video. This answered some of my question. My counter deadline is 3/28. I will use intuition and listening.

Hey Vince, you're are back in the office, I hope the move goes smooth. The settlement
Information gathered and intuition is very useful in understanding where settlement is headed and where it might land up.

Let’s also make sure we don’t confuse it with tree fitty.

Actually, this was very helpful! I just sent a proposal for settlement and this helps me evaluate what number will outweigh the economic and emotional cost of litigating with attorney’s fees!

It's like tennis: you don't win on the first serve. It takes at least several volleys in order win. As long they keep volleying, they're still playing. Keep your eye on the prize.

I am in the middle of a settlement, but I believe it is crap. The other side want to put a gag order on me and they are taking away my ability to be hired again by them and the other employers affiliated with them. All I would get out of this deal is a change from termination to resignation, but that doesn’t seem like it is enough of a settlement for me, especially not worth the $4000 I paid a lawyer concerning case. Need some advice asa please.

WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO BE REHIRED BY THEM?!?!😂 Idiot

    • @JustWanderingBy

I’m not a legal expert, but I have an MPP. If you’re out the $4,000 if you settle and get nothing out of it to cover your costs, it’s not worth it from a cost-benefit analysis. They want to put a gag order on you for a reason. Check the defamation and harassment statutes in your state. If it’s only a change to resign and they can legally get away with talking about you and you wouldn’t be able to talk about them, I don’t see the benefit. But, if you don’t sign or allow it to go to court where documents are public….and someone tips off the media or clients (very strategically so they can’t come after you). And it costs them money in having to deal with public relations matters…Well, then…
As a comedian once wisely said: “It doesn’t matter if you can swim, it matters if they think you can swim”.

This was very helpful. Can you provide the steps for a pro se plaintiff to file their complaint in federal court if they are issued a right to sue?

I work for a large hospital conglomerate. I have a pinched nerve with excessive pain. I am a therapist in a mental health clinic. I have asked for remote work with me purchasing an ergonomic chair that will enable me to work. If they refuse remote work what options do I have?

Audio on the office computer is clean as can be. You may want to investigate external factors at the farm, such as electrical noise, old building wiring and wall outlets.

Vincent I was hoping you might be able to post a video about being an applicant for a human rights discrimination for housing at a condo Please. I have made it to the tribunal court however get the option to Mediate up to one week prior to the tribunal court. And that's only 15days away.

In my case, I havent received a settlement offer from the defense, they cancelled my deposition last year and havent rescheduled even after their IME, the time window for a Deposition ends APR 14th...I asked my lawyer why this is but I have never recieved an answer which makes me suspicious of my own representation....i was ignored for the third time when finally i asked today and didnt receive an answer until I demanded one...then my attorney asked would I be available in less than a week in order to be within the time frame which will be done virtually...any thoughts on what I am up against...i am so confused but I have all kinds of evidence to prove my case to include the Defense IME results....I took an MMPI-2 test in which I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety but their Psych deliberately left out the other score used that would confirm a diagnosis of PTSD...But I figured it out how the scoring module works and sent it to my lawyer office with references...my case is DBA OWCP

The only thing that makes you a little wrong, is how many other lawsuits would follow if they lost. If you have 1000 employees that can file the exact same case, because they discriminate to a certain group, they would be more willing to negotiate. Does not matter what your value would be, if you are willing to go the distance and go to court. Jmho

It’s ridiculous if you live in Oklahoma and get your attorney from EEOC the law is different here in Oklahoma the way you can sue if somebody harass you or racist you have to call the police first I had to hire Attorney to tell me that he told me that within 24 hours I had my paperwork in my witnesses paperwork at the EEOC attorney
He let my paperwork sit on his desk for a whole year, and all he said I’m a send you a letter to Sue. Wow.

I think the EEOC attorneys should tell a person upfront I cannot help you, but I know they can’t get paid if they do that because they probably have to have about three or four sellers so get paid taxpayers, money, yearly I think that’s what it is
