Golgar can be used to add back already used/dead fiendish chains or call of the haunted's. You can also overlay it with seraphnite after you use it's popping ability and seraphnite's double normal effect. It's not used in meta but it's definitely not a bad card. #rogue4life
i really did prefer yugioh back when synchro's were the new thing because the game wasn't as broke as it is now, like if any of you saw the deck i play with against my friends im pretty sure you'd laugh at me because it is extremely un-meta. but i like the idea of making my own deck and being a bit more creative
my buddy recently got me back into the game after like.. 10 years and he still uses the same decks he used that long ago. Right away I was able to build somewhat meta decks but he would still beat me sometimes because of the cards he ran (some of which are banned) but those decks for the most part are obsolete and boring to play once you've gotten used to the meta game.
+Erik Ramirez If you're building current format meta decks and getting beat by 10 year old rogue decks... you have not made a current format meta deck or you just don't know how to play the deck. Or he's cheating... or you suck.
+Jordan Gilbert well when you're running cards like monster reborn, harpys feather duster, pot of greed, change of heart, magic cylinder, and draining shield.. also note how I said SOMEWHAT meta, I run Lunalights and Spellbooks and this decks are trash compared to decks like Nekroz, qliphorts, Kozmos, etc.
+Erik Ramirez That's my bad then. I assumed you meant decks like Monarchs, Kaiju/Graydle, PK Fire, Dracopals, Nekroz, Shaddoll, Kozmo, BA (bit old, and nerfed, but still good). Because with those decks, even against Monster Reborn, Change Of Heart, Giant Trunade, Heavy Storm, Harpie's Feather Duster, Pot of Greed, etc... you should still be kicking their ass.
I don't think Cosmic Fortress Gol'Gar deserves to be on this list. Considering a lot of Alien spells and traps can be useless either once a-counters run out or if you just dispose of the monsters they steal via xyz summoning or synchro summoning or tributing. Gol'Gar is extremely useful in an Alien deck, despite the deck being bad itself.
Gol'gar gives you reusable fiendish chains, free pops with safe zone, adjustable prohibitions, and it turns Swords of Concealing Light from an overlooked crowd-control card into something immensely useful. But most importantly, he gives you a Vanity's Emptiness that only affects your opponent, as well as any super stun cards that might seem detrimental to yourself. And the fact that you don't have to neg yourself to make him means he's a safe play. Definitely not in the bottom 10 synchros in the entire game.
In our defense we kinda missed the "bouncing your own cards" part. However, his material restriction really hinders his use and makes him far to difficult to use.
You only need a very small alien engine to spam him continuously, which also means the deck is a rank 4 spam and a lvl 5 synchro spam deck too, which gives you strong options. Forget all the terrible, slow A-counter cards and weak alien support like Grey, and "Gol'gar spam" (not aliens) is a pretty legit rogue deck.
The normies for rabbit and the rest is rank 4 spam for King of the Feral Imps. It's up to you whether you want to include Oshaleon or 1 or 2 other lvl 4 Aliens. It's not a high tier deck for sure, but it functions!
Cosmic Fortress Gol'gar is on the list? FALLICY I SAY! Summon Alien Ammonite, 1 card Gol'gar. Activate Swords of revealing light/concealing light/call of the haunted, use Gol'gar to reset them and stack counters on himself to blow up stuff, never lose Swords to turns, re-use the call on Gol'gar when they deal with it.... It's not meta but I'll be damned if it's bad.
Even better, play shock trooper and ammonite in a pendulum deck and use gol'gar to bounce your own pendulum scales and spent brilliant fusions. The combos it enables are fantastic.
I agree with most of this list but #4. You usually bounce your Fiendish Chains or COTH/Oasis of the Dragon Souls (which aliens usually run). Overall still good list.
i feel like you havent looked a lot through the list otherwise you would have seen some way better candidates here is a short list i found -malefic paradox dragon -easy to kill and very conditional effect(ur opponent must play synchros) -beelzeus the ultimate diabolic dragon -why would you play this? harder to summon then beelze but only slightly better -majestic red dragon -hard to summon, first effect is simply red dragon archfiend 2nd effect is pretty decent, but goes back to the extra deck in the end phase -majestic star dragon last point from majestic red dragon -vylon alpha decent effect but its statline makes it too easy to run over in battle -infernity doom dragon too many restictions for a mediocre effect -the 3 unicorns are obviously bad i agree -dark end dragon lose 500 attack to simpoly remove 1 monster from the field? too much cost for that result and it targets -dark highlander too situational unless you play against nobleknights -lightning warrior mediocre burn effect -7 swords warrior i agree with -archfiend zombie skull too hard to summon for that effect
***** scrap dragon is good the upgradesare not great and dark end dragon it simply is not worth it for that effect because 1: you must have no cards in your hand 2: its not generic making it quite a bit worse then other level 8 synchros 3: you have to pay 500 attack points above all this which is losing 500 attack points permanent making it a meagre 2100 attack level 8 synchro and 2600 is already average for a level 8 synchro
***** i mixed it up with infernity doom dragon still its bad pretty costly in my opinion i stated my reasoning that should be enough also many more cards that werent that amazing in my list
and because you actually have to follow cards effects *cough* original YuGiOh *cough* but seriously, the original yugioh gave effects to normal monsters
And because anime duelist don't have Solemn and stuff that negates everything so they can do their plays just fine, also the duels are scripted so in a random duel in the anime most of the main characters would lose because they have specific cards for specific scenarios, specially in ZEXAL and ArcV where Yuma and Yuya uses that convenient effect 1-duel-only cards.
The only reason these cards seemed impressive in the anime is because the duels were rigged with once in a lifetime occurrences. A lot of these cards are painfully impractical
Davinator1212 I do agree but here's the thing you can use T.G. Halberd Cannon and Quasar in any T.G. deck's to have great negation if you agree and also Halberd Cannon has the same summoning condition as Quasar and sifr even Cosmic Blazar dragon And I really think Halberd Cannon should really do well with Quasar, Sifr, and Cosmic Blazar Dragon if you agree and Halberd Cannon can come in handy in any T.G. decks and even T.G. Meta's even in Synchron deck's or Synchron Meta. however I disagree that Halberd Cannon is NOT the best card in any good T.G. build including pure T.G. deck's and even Synchron deck's so yeah I know Halberd Cannon and Blade Blaster will both come in handy in any T.G. deck or even Synchron Deck's. and one more thing Halberd Cannon is a Delta Accel Synchro and Quasar is a Limit Over Accel Synchro and T.G. Blade Blaster and Shooting Star Dragon are both Accel Synchros if you believe in the heart of the cards if you agree.
Davinator1212 that's true that people including me should Summon Quasar, Sifr, and Cosmic Blazar Dragon and why wont Halberd Cannon come in handy as well with all of the other T.G. decks
Davinator1212 I just know alot of people summon Halberd Cannon on the field and their opponent's next turn when they try to summon a monster on the field Halberd Cannon negated the summon of their opponent's monster
first off all, he's generic lol... second off all, he will just obliteriate all your defensive stuff no matter how meta they may be,simple as that... third of all, he's a 3000 beastick, that's all XD
VixXstazosJOB He only destroys defense position monsters, and destruction immunity is still a thing. If it said "send all Defense Position" then he'd be okay, every send effect is pretty competent. But how often are you going to see a big bad in defense position? Also, he destroys your own monsters that didn't attack, which is pretty shit. Unless you want to go for that MLG End Phase Book of Moon. Being generic doesn't really matter if you aren't useful or good. You can get far better monsters and even beatsticks in other decks anyway. So if you're still standing by "generic beatstick" when there's clearly much better monsters out there you can use, that's not exactly an amazing case.
I love my Naturias. All of them. So, when he said at the beginning there wouldn't be any Normal Synchros, I was really happy knowing it probably wouldn't be here before Leodrake flew onto the screen.
So everything is on this list just because there are better ones out there😔. This is literally your main reason for every bad card on your lists it is getting annoying that you keep doing it
+Big shap To be fair, there are always going to be better cards than the ones on the list. It applies to all bad cards. In Yu-Gi-Oh, there are no useless cards, but there are always better ones to use depending on your general play style.
I used to run a Hero equip deck with Seven Swords Warrior in it, and it made for some absolutely wonderful combos. It was was extremely situational though, so I get why it's here.
the trick to golgar is to bounce your own cards. People typically use it in lockdown decks. Bounce your own floodgates, play them again in main phase 2, and only your opponent is affected by them. there are a lot of cards that you can abuse
Cosmic Fortress Gol'gar isn't as bad as it seems since bouncing your own stuff is quite beneficial. It's an weird gimmick, but using Masoluem of White allows you to dump the normal alien monster in the grave, then extra normal summon the alien tuner to SS the alien you just dumped, giving you easy access to Gol'gar. Once you add in pendulum scales like Monkeyboard into the mix, then that easily gives you 2 cards to bounce back (Mausoleum of White and Monkeyboard), which then gives you A-counter to destroy a card while protecting your hand advantage.
I finally get what I don't like about this guy! 3 things: his sass, his cockyness and his lack of word variety. He's all about thinking the meta is the only thing worth playing cause everything else is a waste of time. Instead of being articulate and using words he just says "bleah" like it meant something. That proves my point: meta players are dumb as hell because they can't win using anything else. This guy's attitude demonstrates it further.
Chaos Goddess Level 8 1 Light Tuner + 2 or more DARK non-Tuner monsters. Once per turn: you can discard 1 Light monster; special Summon 1 Level 5 or higher DARK monster from your Graveyard. This thing's Summon condition and Effect run counter to one another.
How does this guy keep putting out videos? Most of his vids have almost an even split on likes/dislikes. Plus a lot of the stuff he says is rather cringy and obnoxious. Guess someone else just has to corner the gap in the Yugioh 'top X cards' market. Waiting for the day, to be honest.
psykopyro I like the way he talks in his videos, it feels like he's actually talking to you. A majority of the time we all naturally say "cringey" things, but because we're saying it and not really listening to ourselves we never notice it.
psykopyro I like the way he talks in his videos, it feels like he's actually talking to you. A majority of the time we all naturally say "cringey" things, but because we're saying it and not really listening to ourselves we never notice it.
Everytime you cut from going bleeeehh meeeeh gllllllleh back to talking i imagined you doing that for over five minutes until you realised what you were actually doing again.
Some choices are strange. Phychic lifetranser is great in phychic decks because it both banishes monsters and gives quite a lifepoint boost right away. You need life points for psychic and free banishing is great for them. A better level 7 would be X-saber Urbellum which really has no use. Also out of the 3 Aisir monsters Odin is the best one. That's so strange you picked him rather than Loki. Thor has the weakest effect but he is the easiest to summon.
About sea dragon lord gishilnodon, red resonator can play it. It's a lvl 2 tuner with the effect of: when this card is normal summoned special summon a level 1-4 monster from your hand. Also if red resonator Is special summoned it has the effect of: target one monster on the field, gain life points equal to that monsters attack. So you would play red resonator, special summon a lvl 3, summon sea dragon lord gishilnodon and summon synchron resonator which has the effect of special summoning itself when there's a synchro monster on the field. You can then either synchro summon Goyo guardian or a lvl 6 or you could destroy synchron resonator and make sea lord dragon 3000 atk, regardless, when synchron resonator goes to the grave you get to special summon a resonator from the grave (red) gain 2800 life points from goyo guardian or 3000 from sea lord dragon and then if you have goyo you can synchro summon to bring out a lvl 8 or if you have sea lord dragon a lvl 7
With Zeman you can change the monster you lose so if the card they attack is shutting down their deck (El Shadoll Winda or something else like that) you can tribute a card that benefits from being in the grave and stop your good monster from being destroyed.
i actually get alot of mileage out of chaos king archfiend in the current meta, there are tons of boss monsters with defenses under 500 that he can just run over, like that blue eyes ritual monster is one example, hes great tech in a synchro based deck
I've found that Lightsworns actually can make alright use of Blackfeather Darkrage Dragon, because there's occasionally a time where your opponent can disrupt plays and such (obviously). If you went into a really good Lvl 8 synchro, your opponent would usually use their answer like Strike or Warning on it, but if you go into one they think is meh, (especially because you can often further extend your plays) then they let it go through. Then it gives your field a weird safety net, because your opponent is going to be much less willing to attack into a lumina you left on board if it means you mill 5 cards, which could be things like Wulf or Felis. I was using this deck a few weeks ago and did just that; Summoned this thing, and no response. Summoned Lumina, no response. Activated Lumina's eff, no response, used it to Summon Raiden. Raiden's eff, chained Strike. Had to go to EP cause there wasn't much else I could do. Next turn my opponent did some shenanigans with their Dark Magician deck, wasted their Circle banish eff on my bait backrow, then swung in at my Lumina, killing it but I chained Darkrage's eff, milled 5: Wulf, Wulf, Dawn Knight, Glow-Up Bulb, Minerva. Used Dawn Knight to put a Felis on top of my deck, and Minerva then milled the Felis giving me 4 monsters on board, 2 with 2100ATK, one with 2000DEF, and one with 4800ATK. My opponent had to end with a Dark Magician and some back row. I glow-up bulb'd and made Trish, getting rid of their Magician, and other stuff, did a bit more shenanigans and then OTK'd, and it was all Darkrage Dragon's doing. So yeah the card IS trash in like 99% of decks including the deck it was made for, it does have some niche uses
to the alien boss: it worked (long ago :P) with permanent stuff on your side... you bounce your own stuff (min 2) and then use the counter to kill off something. i found it kinda neat, but most good permanents used there were stall cards like lightswords :D
Blackfeather Darkrage Dragon is actually really good in lightsworns though. Since you're gonna be running trickclown, this allows you to mill 5 cards the moment you take the 1000 damage.
To this day, I’m still disappointed by the like/dislike ratio. Your content has gotten way better, but your old videos like this were still very good and I believe this list was very well explained and picked.
Golgar bouncing your own stuff can be great with cards like royal decree, anti spell fragrance, Code A ancient ruins, prohibition, messenger of peace, swords of revealing light. You really have not thought of the posabiities that golgar presents you. I have crushed many a duelist in todays meta using golgar control loops
Cosmic Fortress is specific for a reason. Lockdown decks won't be able to hold against them. And if people played A-counters right, you can have ultimate field control. Never had a problem taking on meta with a properly tweaked Alien deck when I used to play.
was just checking halberd cannon's effect it says target a t.g. monster when it is sent to the graveyard but it never reads except this card so i'm assuming after its sent there it can just be resummoned again over and over infinitely unless its banished of course i'm assuming im right
The one thing to say about Hydro Genex is that it gains more LP than most other LP gain effects. In the event that it ever matters to do so, it might be worth playing casually. TThe other thing that Genex has going for it as a whole is Unexpected Dai...which is a really solid way to go for tuners...and Controller works for it.
The Alien boss boss monster lets you bounce your own S/T cards (which combos with fiendish chain and continuous spell that do something on activation)So it's not terrible. However having to stuff in bits of the Alien Engine makes it not great unless you can get a level 4 alien into the graveyard without damaging your decks game plan.
HEY HEY HEY DAVINATOR1212.... do you think some of these cards on the list can be good pocket picks or even viable in the near future with the new supports and shift in the ever changing meta > > was just wondering (P.S. love your content dude favorite yugituber man, kaitlyn is the better duelist, and i hope your holidays and life is going great)
I wish Gol'gar wasn't on the list but I understand why. Needing one specific tuner is a huge issue and having a sub-par backrow removal effect just doesn't quite cut it.
I'm pretty sure the point of Gol'gar at the time of its release (Besides bouncing other continuous cards, I mean) was to bounce the alien control cards like Brainwashing Beam and Mass Hypnosis which would prevent them from being destroyed when the monster you're controlling runs out of A-counters or the end of the turn, respectively. At the same time you could distribute new A-Counters to destroy cards with Gol'gar, take control of new targets with Mass Hypnosis or take control of one target for longer with Brainwashing Beam. Is Gol'gar a good card in general? I don't think so, but it is a very good "Alien" card that synergizes well with the deck it was made for. I'd have put Flamvell Uruquiza. He has 2100 Atk, a piercing effect and a slow attack gain (+300 every time it inflicts battle damage) and with 400 defense he can't even be rekindled, which is the primary Flamvell playmaker. Loki, Lord of the Aesir is another contender for placement on the list, and I think either all of the Nordic Gods or simply Loki should've made the Honorable mentions, if not the list. Loki is the smallest of the Nordic Gods at a 3300 Atk, which is just ok-ish for a level 10 Synchro Beatstick. Alfars are probably the worst set of the Nordic Sub-Archetypes and with all the back-row removal running around recycling traps is the worst of the resurrection effects IMO (though Thor's 800 effect damage is a close second).
About dark Gaia, I can agree that in this meta, it's pretty bad, but in the right deck it can easely destroy decks, it was my ace card in my first deck and I won when I got it on the field
gogars spose to bounce your own cards, call of the haunted, vanitys emtynessetc to keep flooding the opponent, then locking them out gogars amazing theirs a reason trunades band.
love yu-gi-oh. loved synchro and xyz monsters. hate hate hate pendulums. they broke the game. the game can literally be over in 2 turns or 1 turn if you have the right cards and draw the right hand to start off. just hate them and hate the fact that now the game is too short.
My mouth dropped when you said gol'gar because I'm building them rn. But anyways its actually really useful to bounce floodgates so they don't restrict you during your turn like Lose 1 Turn and Anti-Spell Fragrance. You can also keep Vanity's alive from combo pieces you want to do be returning it. Plus you can abuse certain cards like Code A Ancient Ruins for double monster reborn and Big Bang Shot for banishing things which is godlike in this meta. You can bounce your opponent's floodgates and counter them with your own which you reflip on their turn. Lastly you can recycle dead Fiendish Chains and Call of the Haunteds. Love the vid though, and this comment brings no hate. :P
I want to know what you have against 2 card combos seeing as by default that is the smallest number of cards you need to make a combo so it's the most likely to occur.
Thunder Lord can make a lot of combos with Divine Wind and his Mist Valley buddies. (And yeah, copy paste, but Gol'gar is actually good. You can recycle your call of the hanteds, fiendish chains, or even the alien traps like their two mind control traps.)
Burning abyss can't make generic synchros with rubic, it has to be a BA synchro (even if skill drain is active, cuz it's a condition). They'd just make acid golem anyway if they wanted a 3000 atk monster.
It's funny, zeman the ape king was the boss monster of one of the antagonists of the dark signers arc in the 5ds anime. The unicorns were also used by a character in one of the last arcs. And Odin was featured with 2 other synchros representing Loki and Thor. The trio who used them were like the last guys to beat before the final bosses of the series. There monsters were made out to be enormous terrifying creatures on par with the Egyptian Gods. And now you're writing one of them off on a list of the worst synchros. These cards' power could be for a couple of reasons. One, they were the focus of the deck. 2, they were built up for the anime and given OP effects to make the duels more interesting.
I play dark rage in my Zombies. I summon it, then use brilliant fusion/foolish/jewels of the valiant to send trick clown, summon trick clown by 'taking' 1000, then triggers dark rage to mill 5. Pretty meh, but works really well.
thunder unicorn + rekindling could work quite interestingly..... i guess.. if you really tried for example wild nature'r release makes it 4k then if you manage to summon 1 monster of 1800 attack and 200 deference like idk fire king avatar barong you could double activate spiritual fire art - kurenai and deal the full 8k (provieded the monster targeted by the skill is 2500 or under) in one turn not to mention you'd all ready have done some damage setting up.... just an idea
Gol'gar is by far the best level 5 Synchro, ignoring summoning conditions. I used to play Aliens back when they weren't so bad (still bad but Gol'gar was fun to combo with chicken game), and there was almost never a scenario where you wanted to make a different level 5 synchro. Virtually free spot destruction, plus re-using your face-up spells, plus 2600 on a Level 5 is very strong.
I put Seven Swords Warrior in a deck made of all Warriors and Equip cards and it's actually pretty good in it. Half my decks could never stand a chance competitively and those that would have banned cards so can't really use them either.
Alien Boss you dont bounce all, you select which (your own call of hauntings, fiendish chains, sword of concealing lights, etc.) The generic vanillas are good for infernoids
Seadragonlord gishiwhatever can actually be summoned with only one card deep-sea diva. So its basically a better junk warrior, as summoning a level 3 from the deck is way better than summoning a level two from the grave with j-synchron

yeah for good reason... :P
I told you guys that Alien Synchro would be the Dark Gaia of this list lol
If i was given the choice between running Gol'gar or Vulcan the Divine it would be no contest.
Lol exactly.

Useful in ALIENS is partly why it’s bad
Gol'gar gives you reusable fiendish chains, free pops with safe zone, adjustable prohibitions, and it turns Swords of Concealing Light from an overlooked crowd-control card into something immensely useful. But most importantly, he gives you a Vanity's Emptiness that only affects your opponent, as well as any super stun cards that might seem detrimental to yourself.
And the fact that you don't have to neg yourself to make him means he's a safe play. Definitely not in the bottom 10 synchros in the entire game.

Hmmmmmmmm.....what about running it in a Chaos MAX build? ARA can pitch the normals to the grave and Sage searches the tuner.
Cosmic Fortress Gol'gar is on the list?
FALLICY I SAY!

Also consider royal decree, anti-spell fragrence, Prohibition and other control traps and spells which affect you as well as your opponent.
the card is shitty and in a bad archetype... I mean I could just use triver and bounce everything and with solemn strike it's a bad card

I agree with most of this list but #4. You usually bounce your Fiendish Chains or COTH/Oasis of the Dragon Souls (which aliens usually run). Overall still good list.
Is it bad that I read this in your voice?
dude, u are da fucking bomb.
you guys should colab

I love that card. u can pop cards for days
the constant "its blehhh blehhhhh" thing is... really really annoying

"Its just so BLEEEEH" -Davinator 2016

Gol'gar really doesn't deserve to be on this list, and Fish OTk made good use of Gishilnodon.
Damn this just re showed up on my recommend feed. Man look how far you’ve come :D
i feel like you havent looked a lot through the list
otherwise you would have seen some way better candidates here is a short list i found
-malefic paradox dragon -easy to kill and very conditional effect(ur opponent must play synchros)
-beelzeus the ultimate diabolic dragon -why would you play this? harder to summon then beelze but only slightly better
-majestic red dragon -hard to summon, first effect is simply red dragon archfiend 2nd effect is pretty decent, but goes back to the extra deck in the end phase
-majestic star dragon last point from majestic red dragon
-vylon alpha decent effect but its statline makes it too easy to run over in battle
-infernity doom dragon too many restictions for a mediocre effect
-the 3 unicorns are obviously bad i agree
-dark end dragon lose 500 attack to simpoly remove 1 monster from the field? too much cost for that result and it targets
-dark highlander too situational unless you play against nobleknights
-lightning warrior mediocre burn effect
-7 swords warrior i agree with
-archfiend zombie skull too hard to summon for that effect
***** scrap dragon is good the upgradesare not great
and dark end dragon it simply is not worth it for that effect
because
1: you must have no cards in your hand
2: its not generic making it quite a bit worse then other level 8 synchros
3: you have to pay 500 attack points above all this which is losing 500 attack points permanent making it a meagre 2100 attack level 8 synchro and 2600 is already average for a level 8 synchro
***** i mixed it up with infernity doom dragon
still its bad pretty costly in my opinion
i stated my reasoning that should be enough
also many more cards that werent that amazing in my list
Archfiend zombie skull is excellent in shiranui
In defense of Beelzus, it went really well with Infernity for me. But I don't know what's the state of the game right now so meh.
Beelzus wrecks house in Yang Zings, and it can help you over come large monsters without you having to take damage first, unlike Beelze.
gol'gar isnt bad... check out alien zeffra
the anime makes every card look powerful, then you watch videos like this
and because you actually have to follow cards effects *cough* original YuGiOh *cough* but seriously, the original yugioh gave effects to normal monsters
yeah,that's true
godinfinite77 Then again there are also cards that seem to do jacksquat on their own in the show
And because anime duelist don't have Solemn and stuff that negates everything so they can do their plays just fine, also the duels are scripted so in a random duel in the anime most of the main characters would lose because they have specific cards for specific scenarios, specially in ZEXAL and ArcV where Yuma and Yuya uses that convenient effect 1-duel-only cards.
The only reason these cards seemed impressive in the anime is because the duels were rigged with once in a lifetime occurrences. A lot of these cards are painfully impractical
How many times did he say blaaa
top 10 worst intros, you made the list.
Savage af
I wouldn't be talking...
Or cringe-iest
Kreeeve check them 60 views on your newest video
Kreeeve just looked at your thumbnails ...damn you're cringy kid. Grow up
awesome Video as always, btw could you make a deck profile for some Kind of hybride cuz those are always really interessting
Thunder Unicorn however has the unique effect where every time you play it, 80s synth pop starts playing
Davinator1212 T.G. Halberd Cannon can be a best card in a T.G. deck and it could really come in handy in any T.G. decks
Rocky Ford yeah T.G Deck have many strategy
Milky Tank why did he put T.G. Halberd Cannon on the worst list even though when he should have put that card on the best list?
I have a burgesstoma kaiju deck. Its pretty well but do you suggest any trap card to not get completely vulnerable first turn?
Let's be Honest with ourselves, standard Red Dragon Archfiend isn't very good.
Sam Hoots HE IS
TehAlez GR Tell me what's good about him besides using him to summon Synchro monsters that require a Dark dragon.
Shrek't
first off all, he's generic lol... second off all, he will just obliteriate all your defensive stuff no matter how meta they may be,simple as that... third of all, he's a 3000 beastick, that's all XD
So, when he said at the beginning there wouldn't be any Normal Synchros, I was really happy knowing it probably wouldn't be here before Leodrake flew onto the screen.
how the fuck do you forget deep sea diva is a thing
+Davinator1212 reese the ice mistress is something
This is the dude I expect to be at the comic shops for hours on end.
+Davinator1212 I guess.
If something is better than a card and still not played then the card is bad.
Im glad you didnt include the guy in the thumbnail because he kicked some ass in infernoids
how dare you say t.g. halberd cannon is bad, it is a bad quasar. some of us can't afford that expensive af quasar XD Jk, nice list BTW :p
quasar?? expensive?? LOL
+Palang Leonhardt it was though
These days a reprint Quasar costs like 2 bucks.
quasar is 2 dollars tho
yep.thanks to lc5ds otherwise itll still at 10
I used to run a Hero equip deck with Seven Swords Warrior in it, and it made for some absolutely wonderful combos. It was was extremely situational though, so I get why it's here.
stop saying blah, it's really annoying
the trick to golgar is to bounce your own cards. People typically use it in lockdown decks. Bounce your own floodgates, play them again in main phase 2, and only your opponent is affected by them. there are a lot of cards that you can abuse
I can't even believe the amount of dislikes this has
I can
I mean none of the cards I like are in the video
So
I can't understand
"I don't want another Dark Gaia fiasco" Whoops
It's the sounds...
***** Is this Viral?
Chaos Goddess
Level 8
1 Light Tuner + 2 or more DARK non-Tuner monsters.
Hey man, great content!
I was using this deck a few weeks ago and did just that;
Summoned this thing, and no response.
This feels like a challenge to make decks around these. I dont even actively play yu gi oh anymore and i want to
to the alien boss: it worked (long ago :P) with permanent stuff on your side... you bounce your own stuff (min 2) and then use the counter to kill off something. i found it kinda neat, but most good permanents used there were stall cards like lightswords :D
cosmic fortress bounces your own alien continuous spells to immediately chain an activation and a replay without destroying them
"Let me know in the comments what you guys think of the list.."
*cracks knuckles while laughing maniacally*
Blackfeather Darkrage Dragon is actually really good in lightsworns though. Since you're gonna be running trickclown, this allows you to mill 5 cards the moment you take the 1000 damage.
To this day, I’m still disappointed by the like/dislike ratio. Your content has gotten way better, but your old videos like this were still very good and I believe this list was very well explained and picked.
Now I want to know about those messy four card combos.
Lucifer Batt Yeah. I want to see him do a list on them.
Guy seems to be saying BLAH a lot.
I know what a noob
John Doe 2.0 He also seems to have an anti-criticism philosophy.
Whats your most favorite synchro card? Mine would be Ally of Justice Deceive Armor
was just checking halberd cannon's effect it says target a t.g. monster when it is sent to the graveyard but it never reads except this card so i'm assuming after its sent there it can just be resummoned again over and over infinitely unless its banished of course i'm assuming im right
It's the Davinator1212 Drinking Game! Take a drink every time he sticks his tongue out like a child!
Cosmic Fortress Gol'Gar's effect to bounce face up spells and traps is to combo with Code A Ancient Ruins.
The only thing I liked about using Golgar was bouncing back Swords of Revealing Light and stuff to reset that timer.
If you play The Black Wing Dragon in Lightsworn and use Michael does it work? 🤔
HEY HEY HEY DAVINATOR1212....
do you think some of these cards on the list can be good pocket picks or even viable in the near future with the new supports and shift in the ever changing meta > > was just wondering
(P.S. love your content dude favorite yugituber man, kaitlyn is the better duelist, and i hope your holidays and life is going great)
lol meaning the ther 9 are complete shit XD good to know
About hydro genex... Joan the guardian angel (who I can special summon with valhalla) does the same thing, but has 2800 atk...
I just realized mist valley thunder lord is holding a ripped in half ally of Justice catastor... HOW?!
love yu-gi-oh. loved synchro and xyz monsters. hate hate hate pendulums. they broke the game. the game can literally be over in 2 turns or 1 turn if you have the right cards and draw the right hand to start off. just hate them and hate the fact that now the game is too short.
Reasons why I will stay with fusions, scyro, and xys.
What's your build like pal?
+TheHadomaster x1 rescue rabbit

This is all stipulation though, I haven't been home to play test it yet.
suprisingly with the new tuner which I have no clue if it was out or not before the vid, graydles make gishilindon
Cosmic fortress plus swords was great back in the day lol
I usually run a copy of Bicorn in my Lightsworn decks since it's a great miller. I also run it in troll burn.
I want to know what you have against 2 card combos seeing as by default that is the smallest number of cards you need to make a combo so it's the most likely to occur.
Ok, now you have to do top 10 best synchros but with Omega being number 1. Looking forward to it.
running the Solemn package, i might run Blackfeather in lightsworn as a 1 of until i get around to getting my hands on an omega
Chaos King Archfiend is really good against decks like Monarchs, which have high attacks, but low defense
I would love to see top 10 flip effect monsters if that isn't already a thing
I play dark rage in my Zombies. I summon it, then use brilliant fusion/foolish/jewels of the valiant to send trick clown, summon trick clown by 'taking' 1000, then triggers dark rage to mill 5. Pretty meh, but works really well.
thunder unicorn + rekindling could work quite interestingly..... i guess.. if you really tried
for example wild nature'r release makes it 4k then if you manage to summon 1 monster of 1800 attack and 200 deference like idk fire king avatar barong you could double activate spiritual fire art - kurenai and deal the full 8k (provieded the monster targeted by the skill is 2500 or under) in one turn not to mention you'd all ready have done some damage setting up.... just an idea
also if you run with bicorn you could stack your graveyard fairly well for rekindling fuel.
Davinator1212 what do you think of Catapult Warrior
Gol'gar is by far the best level 5 Synchro, ignoring summoning conditions. I used to play Aliens back when they weren't so bad (still bad but Gol'gar was fun to combo with chicken game), and there was almost never a scenario where you wanted to make a different level 5 synchro. Virtually free spot destruction, plus re-using your face-up spells, plus 2600 on a Level 5 is very strong.
“Ignoring Summoning Conditions”
This argument is over
I put Seven Swords Warrior in a deck made of all Warriors and Equip cards and it's actually pretty good in it. Half my decks could never stand a chance competitively and those that would have banned cards so can't really use them either.
Alien Boss you dont bounce all, you select which (your own call of hauntings, fiendish chains, sword of concealing lights, etc.)
The generic vanillas are good for infernoids
Can't you bounce your own continuous traps like fiendish chain? I think Aliens also have quite a few continuous spells/traps
the fortress can bounce own spells and there is a pretty consitant deck to go into quasar
I often run black feather dragon in lightsworn in combination with the solemn brigade
the only deck I could think to use darkrage dragon is DDD's because you can activate the effect to the contracts
Seadragonlord gishiwhatever can actually be summoned with only one card deep-sea diva. So its basically a better junk warrior, as summoning a level 3 from the deck is way better than summoning a level two from the grave with j-synchron
