- Tangerine Dream at their best. If you have the opportunity to see them...GO, they are currently on tour in the UK. I mainly filmed the 10.10PM session featuring Nick Beggs....my poor hand!
I was a night to remember for life, fantastic night, there so so creative, masters of electronic music, and wonderful people, just love this group.
Couldn't agree more!
I’m an old time fan, first seeing TD in 1980/1 … I saw them once again this November in Bexhill. I enjoyed the gig very much and would like to congratulate and thank Thorsten, Hoshiko, Paul and all the team involved. You gave us all a very wonderful evening. 🙏🙏😂
The music of Tangewrine Dream are magnificent musicals creations and historic
Great show, tremendous.. well worth waiting 50 years to finally see them live
@sofexchange2230 I thought it a bit off alright.. if Edgar was still around he’d probably launch a towel at him like he did to Jerome once.. thanks for putting video up it means a lot
TD took it all in their stride.@sofexchange2230
I was pleased getting near the front for a change, just wished I had known Mr Beggs would "play" for 50 minutes @sofexchange2230
Yes I hope they come back next year.
I went seeing them in Manchester Friday evening, and what a stunning performance from them all! No 'guest' appearances for us though, but by the sounds of it, I think i'm glad of that tbh 😀
I do hope they come back next year like Thorsten said, i'll definitely be there again for my fourth time seeing them!!
Thanks for this video, it's amazing quality!!
This legendary band somehow, inadvertently and unexpectedly changed the criteria for evaluating all types of contemporary musicians of their time, cleaned up the then world sound iconostasis, to force these same musicians to measure their talents and irreversibly their ability to surprise their environment 🌀🧙♂🧚🧞
100% TD and the best line up in many, many years
Om 🙏🎹🌟🎹🪐👍
we need timestamps! Did they play any GTA music?
Session with Nick Beggs begins at "12:00"
i am a dedicated TD fan, for more than 40 years. I love both Baumann and Schmoelling periods and, even Haslinger years had more substance, than this. With all due respect to Mr. Queschning's commitment to TD for almost 20 years but this looks mostly as reinterpretations of older TD well-known pieces, nothing more. Even the largely appreciated "Raum" album, 2 years ago, was largely based on Edgar Froese (RIP) ideas. So, i consider this TD incarnation just keeping the TD name alive for commercial reasons, only. No artistical unforgettable actions, no fresh sounds or ideas, sorry... . If, 10 or 15 years from now. i will remember, and appreciate any (original) TD composition of the present line-up, I will rest my case... In my humble opinion, when Chris Franke left the band, in 1987, the substance and strength of TD were lost. This TD version sounds more and more as Picture Palace Music - Part II. Better listen to Loom albums, instead
Non sono più i veri Tangerine Dream sopravvivono di rendita ma nell' anonimato puro...!😖😖😖
Sorry these are no more TD. I saw them in 1981, with the 2nd best lineup (1st= Froese Franke Baumann, 2nd= Froese Franke Schmoelling), they lost the way in mid '80 and these are only a mere shadow of what they were. Sorry.
In other words, you're too busy needlessly comparing things to give other things a fair chance.
Pity the sound is so bad.
one of my fasv albums is logos live at the dominion i have the lp for me the last of the best of TD its good to see Thorsten and the rest keep the music of TD in the stratoshpear of ppls minds
Part of Logos was used in a movie called The Keep. Fit so well.
