This one really got to me Dr Doug. Hope Jersey finds comfort in your adjustments. You certainly worked hard on him, TY for all that you do for these beautiful creatures. He really trusted in you too.
I volunteer for a equine therapy group, and I am practicing your method on our horses that are donated to us for helping people with life struggles. Most of my patients had a stellar career and are at the twilight of their careers, everyone of them have issues that I've been trying to ease their suffering. A lot seem to have right hind leg/hip, left front leg and neck pain. Thank you for helping me help them, to help people who are less fortunate in life.

Thanks for what you do for these people and their animals! The lady, Erin, at the start(clip) & the end almost had me in tears!😊 What caring & compassionate people! Jersey was Cool!
Absolutely, horses communicate non-verbal so I try to learn their language so that I can better work with them. It was a very intense session with much emotions. Thanks for sharing Big Red.
Verbal = only from human side, but communication goes both ways. That said, new research has just found that when elephants rumble, they are addressing eachother. They seem to be calling eachother by names, the way humans do. Was published on the 10th, in Nature. First author Pardo. U of Colorado, I think it said.
Wonderful to see how much everyone loves Jersey and wants to provide the best care for him. And thank you to Dr Doug for the gift of your time and expertise

@@AnimalCrackerDrDougWillen I think this Jersey horse had a hock problem(which is common with Standardbred horses) on his left hind which would throw him off diagonally upfront plus he'd put more weight on the right hind so you might want to look into angles of the feet Etc..... they will wear their feet peculiarly due to the pain they are feeling elsewhere..... and it may have all started with the hock I learned that from working with a cold laser

He really needed it!. What a sweet boy. He really trusted you. I think he was feeling the relief as you moved along. Got some blood flow going for him. Amazing job!! I love seeing how work Dr. Doug, even as you are showing us how the pieces fit together in your diagnosis rather rapidly, you are allowing Jersey to set the pace. I can hear in your voice, the bright eager "let me help you!" but you never push the animal or person patient to go faster than they feel comfortable. That's so lovely, allowing their state to dictate the pace of healing.
Your patience and LOVE for these beautiful animals and just wanting them to be out of pain or even just feel better, is SO evident to not only us but more importantly to them!!! Thank you for sharing all your magnificent handiwork doc... you're the best!!!! 👍👏👏👏💪❤
Love the new intro. Thanks Dr Doug for helping Jersey . You really made a difference in his life. Hope to see you again Jersey. Thanks Dr Doug for all you do.
Thank you for helping him 💙 I work with and own many standardbreds , I feel like they hold so much more stress or tension in there pole and necks and rear end like hips and stifles, then other breeds I've been around or owned , have you ever noticed that ? Beautiful Standardbred so glad hes safe and happy
I need to work on more different breeds to give you an answer. Generally almost every horse has much stress and tension behind or at their poll. Although the poll area is relatively small compared to some of the horse’s other muscles, it is key to his freedom and ease of movement. Thanks for sharing Kristi.
What I've noticed with the Standardbred breed is they breed them with longer backs ( so they don't hit) which is more conducive to back trouble their vertebrae are out of alignment Etc it's like a set of Christmas tree lights when one light's out the rest of them don't work....
@@AnimalCrackerDrDougWillen I've got a filly that is 21 years old this year that had a wreck going over a pipe fence landed on her head as a yearling and her heads been on Crooked ever since and twice now she has had like an epileptic fit when she hit something on her head! Either I'm not strong enough or I haven't got the right action to get it back in in alignment..... when this fit happened the first time I thought she'd hit her head on a tree limb this last time was about a week ago and it was total mud when I was feeding her I think she hit her head on the ring on the feed tub and she did the same thing and she fell in the mud and I thought she was going to go through the fence but when she got up this time she took off running like a bat out of hell screaming her head off I guess it scared her but I couldn't find anything wrong but our main was flipped over on the proper right side this time but her heads still on crooked and now it's flipped over on the left side.... she is sixteen two hands and weighs about 1,100 pounds so it's not exactly safe when she does this....
I've worked with standardbred's & thoroughbreds and I feel the Standardbred Horseman are much better and more knowledgeable than the thoroughbred people it's almost like they don't "ever" look at their feet.... they know nothing about their backs and they breed them with white feet, white legs, white eyes.... three things that will not possibly make them a good racing animal the only thing bad with the standardbreds is they have such long backs so you've got to be a chiropractor to keep them in line and Train BUT at least they do train them they don't just take them one time around the racetrack and put them back in the stall.....
I really felt for the horse as I have similar issues plus a slew of autoimmune and neurological disorders. Happy to see him doing better. I can see the pain in his body language. To see him relax after his treatment was lovely.😊

Watching these adjustments be made on such a large animal makes me marvel at how physically strong you must be. I am glad there are people out there who care for the well being of the joints and nerves of animals. They must feel so much better in the end!
What an amazing difference I can see in Jersey after you treated him! His whole demeanour changed from walking being a chore to walking being a revelation with far less pain. What a fabulous example of just how much an adjustment can help manage a horses pain 🎖💜

Wow that‘s really awesome thank you for sharing Krazy.
This one really got to me Dr Doug. Hope Jersey finds comfort in your adjustments. You certainly worked hard on him, TY for all that you do for these beautiful creatures. He really trusted in you too.
Aww thank you Alexis for the kind words.
Your touch is reassuring to them, your heart is in your touch. So thankful for any relief they can get.
Blessings to you, Doc.
Oh yeah, Merry Christmas
Thank you for all you do 💗
I assume this comes from the direction they run on a track?
@@aliciaohara8794 ah, no. They were in lots of other types of competition but a race horse with a disabled person would be a disaster forsure.
That‘s absolutely awesome! So glad for that. Thank you Flipp.
Great work, Dr. Doug! Animals sense when they're safe around a human, and you give them the space to absorb the change and feel comfortable with it.
I do think so too!
So much work on this beauty. Well done, Dr Doug. I love watching you work with animals.
Thank you so much so glad you love it!
Jersey gave Dr Doug a workout, he's going to need an adjustment himself! You could see the difference in the way he was walking at the end. If he wasn't liking those adjustments he wouldn't have let you keep doing all that. I hope you get to go back. Thank you Dr Doug. Merry Christmas to everyone 🎄🎅🎄⛄
I Hope that too Barb. Indeed I would need an adjustment!
That was lovely to watch. Thanks for helping Jersey get some relief!
Nice new intro too, Doc.
🎀 Merry Christmas 🎀
Thank you Boo, new year, new intro! Merry Christmas to you. 🎄🙏🏻☺️
Thank you for helping rescue farms with adjustments on their animals, especially the horses. ❤
Thank you SOOOO MUCH BCHR for rescuing these horses from that disgusting killpen! Jersey is such a gorgeous horse! You have done so much for him! Thank you also for cracking him back to health! The gentleness you approach these animals with is amazing!❤❤❤
You’re amazing doc Doug and your gentle and intuitive nature is gorgeous for Jersey ❤
Awww thank you Kim.
Love this place!! Thank you for rescuing Jersey and all the others!! ❤
If only you could be like Dr Doolittle! Yeah be able to have a verbal conversation with animals! But in a way you can, just non-verbally! My faves growing up were of course that show and Mr Ed!
Check out videos on Animal Communicators. Telepathic work and research. Lydia Hiby for one ..
@@carolsaia7401 ok
Verbal = only from human side, but communication goes both ways.
That said, new research has just found that when elephants rumble, they are addressing eachother. They seem to be calling eachother by names, the way humans do. Was published on the 10th, in Nature. First author Pardo. U of Colorado, I think it said.
Wonderful to see how much everyone loves Jersey and wants to provide the best care for him. And thank you to Dr Doug for the gift of your time and expertise
Horses have a very special place in my heart and life as well.
Truly, you are gifted communicator and healer.
Brilliant!
I love that you guys include energy work in your practice. Animals are so emotional and that extra help moving those energies are such a big deal for the animals emotional and physical well being. Brings tears of joy to my eyes seeing an innocent animal being given a second chance at enjoying life. I appreciate you guys for being who you are much love.
Awww such a nice encouraging And motivating comments, thanks for your words Nicholas, so grateful for the support.🙏🏻
Such trust, this beautiful animal is giving you. Incredible.
Your work with all of these animals to relieve pain and improve function is just inspiring! You’re a mensch.
Awww thanks for the nice words TheNavadoc.
I know how much relief I have felt after an adjustment. I could hear his cracks when you made your adjustments. Lots of licks & shakes! I am glad he got more time for adjustments. He really needed it!. What a sweet boy. He really trusted you. I think he was feeling the relief as you moved along. Got some blood flow going for him. Amazing job!! Horse plus humane society in TN sure could use a visit from you doc!
Thank you Kristen he did need all the adjustments, that was a good session hope to go back there soon. Grateful for your support Kristen.
So heartwarming to see all of you happy to see this cutie feeling better 💕 thank you all 💕
That was one lovely patient horse [@Jersey].
You did a great job with him Dr, Doug.
Merry Christams to you, your team and 'patients'/owners/carers and a Happy New Year too.
Awww thank you Anglo, Merry Christmas and happy new year to you.
I'm in tears. I could see and feel Jersey pain. I love everything about you Doc. Your compassion for not only this horse but all the animals you work with. Your an amazing guy with your wonderful gift of a true healer. I hope someday and way I could have the pleasure of having an appointment with you. If you can help an animal such as a horse I'm positive you would perform a miracle with this old beat up body.lol many blessing for the 2023 year Doc.
Awww thank you so much Ann, such nice words. It touches me.
Thank you for the thoughtful comment everlastingscribe.
Your patience and LOVE for these beautiful animals and just wanting them to be out of pain or even just feel better, is SO evident to not only us but more importantly to them!!!
Thank you for sharing all your magnificent handiwork doc... you're the best!!!! 👍👏👏👏💪❤
Awww I’m so pleased to see your support, thank you so much Shawn.
GREAT JOB, DOC! This beauty is feeling SO much better!
Thank you Vickie.
Love the new intro. Thanks Dr Doug for helping Jersey . You really made a difference in his life. Hope to see you again Jersey. Thanks Dr Doug for all you do.
Thank you Beth, glad you love the new intro, I hope to see Jersey soon again. Thanks for being here Beth.
What a sweet horse.
Thank you for taking so much time with him and making him feel better. Great video!!!
My pleasure. Thanks for watching Deette.
12:17 Love how just after you said "there's no flies around!" a fly immediately flew in front of the camera 😂
Haha! 🦟🐝🐞🪰
Absolutely! Thank you Sharon.
Fantastic work with Jersey! Sore psoas are no fun! That will ease his back pain a lot. He should be able to just relax now.
Hey bcgrote, nice to see you here tonight, he benefited from the session hope I can go back there soon and carry on with the treatment.
I will always love this channel. My hip popped out of empathy while I watched this. Also accidently experienced some unintentional asmr, which hasn't happened since my mom used to trace her finger on my face to make me sleep as a kid. This man has real MEDICINE in his soul. It translated through the that sweet animal, out here to me and I know several others. Bless your work Sir, and the grateful animals and their families that you meet.
Awww thank you so much for the kind words Cantara.
What a special video 🥰 Jersey was very sweet and thought long and hard between each adjustment. How amazing to see the relief in his gaze! He is silent but incredibly expressive. He is also obviously very loved by his amazing caretakers 🥰 I do hope we will see more of him!
Thank you so much!
Watching these adjustments be made on such a large animal makes me marvel at how physically strong you must be. I am glad there are people out there who care for the well being of the joints and nerves of animals. They must feel so much better in the end!
I‘m quite strong yes, and have a good stamina, so glad for the nice comment Valerie. Thank you
Totally appreciate directing conversation to the horse and asking the horse that is awesome
Thank you J A
you fill my heart with so much peace when you are able to feel their pain and help them...
Thank you so much.
You help them when I wish I could.
Awww thank you Aimee! So nice of you.
You worked your magic again Dr Doug , amazing how much you can do in a session . Would be great to see another follow up video .
I‘ll try my best to do another one.
What an amazing difference I can see in Jersey after you treated him! His whole demeanour changed from walking being a chore to walking being a revelation with far less pain. What a fabulous example of just how much an adjustment can help manage a horses pain 🎖💜
Glad he digested well all these adjustments.
Thank you so much, Doc, for working so hard on Jersey. As Standardbred, they don't get the same recognition that Off The Track Thoroughbreds do. I'm so glad you were able to give Jersey a ot of relief from his Arthritis. I'm glad you'll be going back and working on him again. I'll wait anxiously for that video to come out. May you have a great weekend, Doc!! And, thank you again for donating so much of your time to these horse rescues. Your friend, the Retired Paramedic, and an S&R Dog and Handler Team Trainer and Horse Trainer in Ontario, Canada, Jenn 💖 🇨🇦
I love seeing the pets you work on get relief. They really respond to your touch and adjustments.💗
Mostly yes! Thanks Karin.
God Bless You Dr.Doug for Making A Big Difference!!!!!!
Thanks for the blessing Foster.
You are so awesome to help with animals ! You rock Doug!
So thankful you take time to explain things to their human counterparts. Blessings to you for all you do to help animals.
Thanks for the blessing Sherri.
Dr Willen, what a wonderful and awesome 👏job you did for Jersey. Erin was emotional and John was helpful, you can see how they’re sincere and care for him. He had a lot to work on but who’s better to help him to get better than Dr Doug to the rescue. I liked the part where he was moving his mouth when you were doing what you needed for him even though at first he didn’t know you, then he saw that you’ve helped him and he started to trust you 👍. Thank you 🙏for doing everything that you can for Jersey, Merry Christmas 🎄to you and to your family, I know for sure you’ve been on Santa’s 🎅nice list, enjoy your Sunday and have a great week doc.
Merry Christmas to you, John was very helpful and did a great job. Yes it was very emotional too. Thank you so much for your great support Emma.
Jersey did such a great job with his chiropractic adjustment. He starts he starting to look like he’s feeling better already.
This extended episode really gave me more appreciation for the entire process Dr. Doug provides. Thanks for all your wonderful work…and you do it for free!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I really appreciate the time he takes to help those that cannot say what is wrong and how to ask for help. It is truly amazing how he can read each animal and knows how they are mostly going to react from his adjustments. Thank you and have a beautiful new year.
Mostly yes but sometimes the reaction can surprise me as well! Happy new year to you Kelly. Thank you.
It's awesome what you do for these poor animals who are in pain...and people too! He must be feeling some relief for the first time in his life.
Maybe not the first time but it’s sure he needed that one. Thanks Gracie.
So amazing - the horse really trusted you. So sweet so amazing to hear the releases.
Awww thank you Urbara.
So nice to see you working on jersey. He was feeling much better, likking and chewing. At the end he walks already much better. Hope we can see you there another time. I believe you when you are telling that you love animals, also i can see the people over there with love, especial the lady. It brought her too tears. You're such a special person. Unbelievable what you do. Happy that people like you exist. 👍🎄🧑🎄
Thank you so much for sharing your kind and encouraging words Joannes.
what a sweet animal - the look of gratitude on Jersey's face says it all
Yes, he looked much more relaxed afterwards.
I have watched a fair number of your video’s, and I have to say, this is one of the most challenging video’s where you worked, extremely hard with this horse. I am a massage therapist (for people and some dogs). And I love you working with horses. I also watch your body mechanic’s and thinking this is a workout for you. I like how you used your head for more contact (and your energy work) with the horse! Excellent job! You can tell by the girl that spoke, not sure she is the owner or volunteer but both she and I know you made a difference to this horse! Good Bless!
Thank you so much, your comment is really heartwarming!
Didn't know this existed but I am so glad that it showed up on my feed!
This guy is amazing and I love how gentle he was towards Jersey!
Thank you Chloey, welcome to YT nicest community, so thankful for the subscription, glad it showed up in your feed. Stay tuned for more nice videos.
Dr. Doug🙏🏻☺️
Oh I love Jersey, what a sweet boy. Awesome job to Dr. Animal Cracker, superb job and love how Jersey put all his trust into you considering where he came from, that horse has a huge heart.
Awww thank you Linette, such a nice comment.
Love watching Dr Doug! What a difference he makes and we don’t have folks around here like that! I’d love to find a Chiropractor who cares for both myself and my horses who is effective. We’d all feel better for sure.
God Bless this doc and his work, and those who save these beautiful beasts.
Thank you so much for the blessings. AS.
Wonderful communication between this amazing healer and the horse, you could see the horse was so grateful for the pain relief!! Thank you for helping him! He’s a good boy, lovely disposition!!!
Thanks steel for your encouragement!👍🏼
Rescuer John loves his horses so much, he can’t keep away from them 😂❤❤ just lovely to see
John is a good man and caretaker.
Once he realized you were giving him relief he said I love you. And started working with you instead of fighting it. So sweet
Thanks for sharing indicakitty
Well said, Jazzy!
That’s absolutely miraculous! He was feeling so much better afterwards. It kills me to see the min so much pain. God bless you for what you do.
Thank you so much Eryn. We’ll have to carry on with the session.
Love watching you help the animals
Glad you love it, thanks for watching.
Absolutely mesmerized by Dr. Doug and his work with these Horses. Can't stop watching these vids.
Thank you, Dr. Willen, for bringing some pain relief and smoothing out some of the kinks for Jersey .. you can so clearly see when he senses relief when he licks his lips. I've fallen in love with horses over these last few years, and I'm so grateful for your work with these precious animals. I have been under chiropractic care for decades, so I KNOW what it's like to feel relief, just as our equines do.
Wow that‘s awesome to share such a supporting comment Margot, so grateful.
It surprises me how cooperative he is with you.
It is so hard for us humans to read horses. Especially when we are in a hurry. You have a gift.
Read horses is like to learn a new language, you have to practice it, I don’t think it is a matter of time (to be in a hurry or not) ☺️I think it is a matter of learning. Thank you for sharing Florida.👍🏼
