I wanted to know about dog chin whiskers today so I asked Siri. This answer came back and I copied a portion of it for blind dogs. I figured horses whiskers did the same thing for them as the dogs, and remembered this magnificent draft horse I had viewed earlier. Wanted to share with you. With much appreciation for what you do. “Like Antennae or Canes Whiskers function much as antennae do in insects. They help dogs get a sense of their surroundings, particularly in dim light or in the dark. They also function as canes do for blind people. Whiskers are especially helpful to dogs who have vision impairment. Reflexes When you gently touch a dog's whiskers, the dog's eye on the same side of the whiskers you've touched will blink reflexively. The dog will very likely turn his head away from the side you've touched.” Did you know this?

You have such a soft approach to these blind beauties, when you talk to them, they respond with such delicate movements. You really do work so hard, thankyou for being you 😍💖
Hi, I just watched your video with you working on Yoda, the blind drive tours. It really angers me and breaks my heart that horses that have difficulties such as blindness, deafness, and other challenges are thrown away by our society just because they’re not perfect. Keep up the good work with the horses.
Yeah, it's Friday and the weekend is starting off right with Dr. Doug's TLC (Tender Lovin' Crackin'). Rune and Yoda are an excellent duo. So glad they are getting the love & care they've deserved all life-long.
Today is a giant, very handsome and muscular Belgian Draft horse! It makes me very sad that he’s worked so hard all of his life and now is totally blind because his owner did not get him the medical care he needed for his eyes when he still had normal vision. Selfish of the owner and so sad for Yoda. I’m so happy that he’s retired, safe and loved by his humans at Gentle Giants Rescue in Mt. Airy. He had a permanent head me there and will receive the care he needs for the remainder of his life. Thank you Gentle Giants!! ❤ 23:51 ❤🐴🐴

Thanks Robin, have you ever seen my House of Chiro UA-cam channel? It's all people.
No I haven't. Thanks for the suggestion I'll check it out.
It's amazing how you took a deep breath and Yoda did the same! 😮. They are sweethearts 💖
Hi Yoda. You're a very sweet hearted pretty horse.
You worked so hard for your owner. That's over now. Looks like a kind person has you now and just wants to give you all the love you deserve.
Best wishes 🤗

You are so kind, that was a perfect comment! Thanks Jill!
Your connection with animals is wonderful, such a pleasurer to watch.
Love those horses, they are so in tune with your healing hands and gentle touches and kindness! You are an absolute pleasure to watch.
Beautiful horses. What a rewarding feeling you must get in just gaining the trust and taking stress off of them.
Both horses the chestnut as Yoda are pretty ones... Heartwarming how you treat them👍👌
#9:38 'You breathed on my whole brain' cracked me right up! Horses seem to be attracted to you, the brain breather was so curious, he needed to know what you were doing with his friend. You have such a soft approach to these blind beauties, when you talk to them, they respond with such delicate movements. You really do work so hard, thankyou for being you 😍💖
Such a sweet thing to witness. ❤️💕 Thank you Doc, for sharing your gift with these wonderful creatures. 💕
What gorgeous boys Yoda and Rune are, I'm so glad they are safe now and in such a beautiful environment xx Thank you for working with them Doug xx
I love you Yoda and also the brown horse. Thanks for helping them today Doc. 🥰
LOVE both these horses...
Lots of love...
❤❤❤
I just found you and find this so relaxing to watch. I’m sure the animals appreciate you!❤
Yoda is an absolute unit! What a beautiful boy!
Well said!
Thanks Robin!
Happy Friday to you!
Absolutely fascinating watching the way the horse and man work together. You are a wonderfull blessing to these brave majestic horses. God bless you in your work.
YODA!!! You are a beautiful soul Doc, and I enjoy most of all your care of horses. What beautiful horses. THIS is a great cause to support. Thank you to all the care givers of these gentle giants.
What a wonderful horse; he has such a sweet spirit. He knew you were there to help him. The other horse was, “wait a minute, what about me”. The treatment you gave him had to be so fulfilling. Thank you so much for sharing your life with us. It’s the last video of the night. They give me such a sense of peace and well being 🙏
Yoda is gorgeous and a gentle giant. Love these videos. 💕🥰❤️😘❤️
Glad you like them!
Thank you Amy!
Doc
It's a comfort to watch you use your remarkable skills to bring relief to these creatures. Thank you
WONDERFUL SESSION
Amazing work with the horses. Love to watch you at work.
You were so gentle & respectful with him and he really responded. A lesson for life.
Very interesting observing two blind horses with the Hands-On chiropractic Care with verbal communication- the kinesthetic and verbal language is a pathway to communicate with these blind horses and the blind horses are showing what other horses won't and are very receptive. I hope you also treated the bay horse I think he was looking for treatment as well as to socialize with his friend. Great work. God bless
Thank you for watching!
I don't understand how the movement you did with his tail and hip worked but it's obvious it did. Fascinating. Thank you for sharing all the wonderful work you do to help our fur friends
