- After years of using action cameras for television and corporate production I've decided to do a review of GoPro's latest offering - the HERO 9 Black.
Lots of great features and a few small surprise updates that convinced me to get back on the GoPro bandwagon after being away since the Hero 5 Session.

Great video review. Your use of the Hero 9 is very similar to what I'd be using it for so the hindsight function would be helpful in capturing that elusive moment on camera. I'm glad I stumbled across this review, thank you. All my other Gopros freeze after awhile and I have to remove the battery...any problems?
Hi Ace Pilot! Glad you found the info useful. I have not had any problems with the Hero 9 at all and I don't think I've had any of my GoPros freeze during continued use. I'm actually using this camera much more than I used my action cameras in the past and I've been very pleased with it's performance and features. I'm putting a few more short tutorial videos together for motion timelapse and underwater shooting and editing. So far so good!

I’m loving it! It’s a great little action camera that goes everywhere with me. Time lapses are something in particular that I’ve been very pleased with. Underwater quality is great too. Hope it works well for your channel and glad I could help.

Haha!! Thanks Jon! Sometimes it's the little things but for a fishing show in particular that one feature is huge for capturing unscheduled action.
@@TheFishFindersTV yes. With hindsight (sorry) it's obvious that this would be the key feature. It's ideal for scenarios where there's unscheduled activity surrounded by long periods of inactivity.
I just haven't tried the feature myself, so it didn't occur to me.
I’m very impressed with it Jon. Works as advertised and it’s a feature I’ll be using a lot. More videos will be coming out shortly on this camera.
