Our blackberry selection is expanding! Join us this week as we plant PrimeArk Freedom Blackberry plants that we ordered from Pense Berry Farm in Arkansas.
We use our Dewit landscaping fabric and amend our soil slightly while we add 9 PA Freedom plants and talk about the future of our other blackberries.

A dream that has grown for generations. Our families have farmed or gardened in SC since the 1700’s. Dean Family Acres was established in 2013 and expanded in 2016, we strive to be “Real People, Real Homesteading.” We are on 5 acres in the Upstate of SC, zone 8a where we garden, feed chickens, cats, dogs, rabbits and Boer meat goats.
