Can we just talk about that last line for a second? Not only was the obvious V for Vendetta reference, but in the days of Robin Hood, archers would taunt enemies by making a V with their fingers, as that what was used to draw their bows. Sort of like saying, "Come get me, I only need 2 fingers to shoot you down" When archers were captured by enemies, they'd torture them by threatening to cut off their 2 fingers that they shot their bows with, so they couldn't fire any more shots at them. There's so many layers to just this 1 line. I can't even begin to imagine how many layered lines are in this battle alone, and that's awesome!

That version was, like many ERB raps, focused on comedy. They still were punching but also were silly. This version took himself seriously to begin with.
@@emilchristophersen3354 I do think comedy is the main point of pretty much every directorial decision in ERB. That, and looking cool. There's instances where other things drive them, such as in T. Jefferson vs F. Douglas where they also cared about making sure the message was clear and taking black trauma seriously, but those tend to be exceptions. I mean, just take MLK vs Ghandi for comparison, which had the nice closing statement, but otherwise avoids really discussing their actual politics in the slightest. "say you appreciate what he did, reference your most riveting speech, tell him he stinks" is not a way to set up a line meant to be taken seriously.

This has got to be the best battle you've ever put out (and that's a hard challenge). Stupendium and LittleFlecks are both amazing and the supporting class (including Mr Dan Bull himself) are all rapping their hearts out. The entire production, aesthetic, flow and disses are all top quality. Great stuff.
How am I just finding this??? This is incredible! The lyricism is on point, the beat is a BANGER, and the special effects and editing are just the cherry on top! You just earned a sub friend, keep up the great work!
Haven't seen anybody take the "If I can't fight a fire with fire, I'll fight a fox with Fawkes" line into further detail, so let me (after six watches in a row) break down what I found so far: 1. "Don't fight fire with fire" is a common saying that refers to how fighting fire with fire will only make said fire grow 2. "Fighting a fox with Fawkes" is an obvious nod to the Disney imagining of Robin Hood, where Robin is depicted as a fox, and the line uses a flip on the word fox with Guy Fawkes' last name 3. Both fire and fox being back to back could be both a nod to the internet browser Firefox (which would be hilarious if true) and also a reference to a similar fox to Disney's Robin Hood, that being Fox McCloud from Star Fox, who has a move in the Smash Brothers franchise that I believe is actually called "Fire Fox" The depth that the lines in these battles have is truly incredible, and there's probably even more to this line that I haven't gotten yet
This feels... Like you reached the peak again. But jumped over it for several times, for our enjoyment. Although I know nothing about these two in the battle, it still felt great to listen.
in terms of quality, this is undoubtably your best work. I've enjoyed a LOT of your battles but this one is just peak performance in every area, I had a big smile on my face the entire time.
Ok for some reason I didn’t comment on this when it came out , but I must now that I’ve been revisiting this DAILY everyday since it came out . This…this is just…probably the best rap battle that has been released to date , it left me genuinely speechless the first time I heard it , and with every new listen I kept finding new details , and it showed me see how far this channel has come, and seeing almost all of my favorite Nerdcore artists in a project of this channel , and seeing the passion going into this project…just like…DAMN, this is why this channel is my favorite in all of YT , like every creator in the FRB community , The channel puts insane amounts of passion in projects that aren’t gonna get as much clout(which is a shame )honestly this channel has been nothing but top tier ever since I stumbled upon it, Good Job Freshy,Flecks and everyone else , and thank you for putting so much effort into these products…
Dude, I can't believe you have only 139k subscribers, you deserve at least a million! The level of quality and professionalism that goes into these rap battles marks you as criminally underrated.
Freshy Kanal has overtaken Epic Rap Battles of History in terms of quality and he is so much quicker then the two rap battles a year ERB seems to do now.
Yeah Nice Peter has a kid now and for the most part it seems like the gang has moved on. I'm really glad the torch has been passed, because good lord is this spectacular.
this is one of the best rap battles on the internet, honestly erb's stuff cant compare to this. maybe they'd have a better robin hood outfit or something at best, but everything else in this battle is just amazing., the flows, disses, music, environment/extras
Major props to Stupes here! 2:31 to 2:41 was absolutely unreal! this is one of the few like consistently good channels i've come across on UA-cam, like the content you put out just ups in quality every time its fucking killer!
This was absolutely incredible. Definitely going to be one of my top 3 battles of the year, if not my absolute favorite. Everything here is insane and I love it!
That Hawkeye and Bullseye line was just SO GOOD! It has hype before it from the Merry Men and then some after the delivery. It’s undebated that Guy won, but still, that was so well-written into the rap. Great work as always.
Seeing Stupendium play Guy Fawkes was really cool, he deserves some recognition for that. As for my suggestions for battles Giratina (Pokémon) vs Rob (The Amazing World Of Gumball) they both come from such similar worlds (the distortion world and the void) so seeing them would be really cool Agent 47 (Hitman) vs Ayano Aishi (Yandere Simulator) I think this match up works well because they both originated from games that have very alike gameplay, where you play through a map trying to kill someone in various ways.
"If I can't fight a fire with fire, I'll fight a Fox with Fawkes" and "Are you curtsying burglars quite done with referring To how I burnt and got turned into fine dust? Wait until you learn the merk that you're serving under you heard Who could never be hurt or murdered by none got fucking murdered by nuns" gotta be the hardest lines to come from this channel
Bro, that part when Dan Bull comes in, that beat and drums and stuff, is one of the most epic segments I've ever seen in any rap battle, including ERB. I think the battle should have ended with that beat and a more killer final verse.
1) Always fantastic to see The Supendium and Dan Bull make appearances! 2) As much as I love ERB, you guys leave them in the dust lyrically speaking. The depth of the research & references really shows in the bars.
Also (0:49), Guy is kinda just like: "Come on, give me more" (Even though what Robin said there reads more like a playful jab instead of a full on roast)
Holy smokes that was fire from start to finish!! These battles just keep on evolving and becoming better and better every time, which is impressive seeing as they already were at a pretty high level

I know it’s been done quite a lot, but it would be interesting to see your spin on it. Keep up the good work! (Sorry this message is so long though lol)🏹🇪🇸
Oooooo he hearted your comment
1:56 “Your Christian? Read the Bible god ain’t to keen on the genocidal” is my favorite part
Except God committed genocide in the Bible.
**nervous Old Testament giggle**
This is my most favorite rap battle I ever heard in a bloody decade. The editing and the 3D background was super top notch. The flows and the bars are top of the charts. I mean literally having a couple of Nerdcore artists as cameos is absolutely amazing including Dan Bull for an example. You all did absolutely fantastic with this project and you all deserve around of a applause 👏👏👏. Tbh you are the best rap battle crater I ever seen in my entire life. ERB should be scared of you!
Once upon a time....a dude inspired by ERB took a swing at being like nice peter and epic Lloyd....
Fast forward to today, he's regularly putting out videos that surpass the channel that inspired him!!!
Amazing work man!!!
Bloody amazing. Well written, well directed, and I could tell everyone was giving it their all
Hands down favourite rap battle not only of yours, but in the community as a whole, incredibly phenomenal editing, catchy ass flows, intense as fuck, top tier 100%
Cannot wait to listen to it a million times!
Bro. I swear Freshy is god tier in producing rap battles.
This is the most well-produced battle you’ve released.
Great job!
HOW IS THIS REAL???? The quality is insane, from the raps to the visuals to the beat and everything!!!! Great job everyone, this has to be one of the best this channel has ever put out, can’t wait to see what you have in store!
Yo phenomenal work mate, these visuals got my jaw on the floor. Huge props to everyone who worked on this, cheers to all of you.
i don't know if it was on purpose, but Fawkes' line, "of a minute of my life that I won't get back" said by the Stupendium, whose song Amateur Wordsmith has a similar line, "here's three minutes you won't get back"
Can we please talk about the art at the beginning? The wanted posters of Robin hood with the transition into real life sent chills down my spine!
S tier battle without a fucking doubt. you guys absolutely nailed this GOD DAMN.
i can't decide who won this, both of them went in and ripped each other to shreds.
Guy fauxe
Every British rapper on UA-cam:
"You son of a bitch, I'm in."
No this is funny tho
🤯
🤓👉🚪
No way
This has got to be the best battle you've ever put out (and that's a hard challenge). Stupendium and LittleFlecks are both amazing and the supporting class (including Mr Dan Bull himself) are all rapping their hearts out. The entire production, aesthetic, flow and disses are all top quality. Great stuff.
wait a moment...
"Little John's Johnson"...
is that a reference to the pseudonym _John Johnson_ that Guy used to get that apartment!?
yep
@@comedysilver5737 haha! all those hours of watching OSP paid off!
Freshly Kanal delivering an interesting concept with catchy rapping and great editing?
Unheard of, truly… if you’re new to this channel.
How am I just finding this??? This is incredible! The lyricism is on point, the beat is a BANGER, and the special effects and editing are just the cherry on top! You just earned a sub friend, keep up the great work!
This is a splendid battle. I absolutely loved it and rose high on my favourites from Freshy.
And fun to see all the cameos as well. Great work
this has no right to go as unimaginably hard as it does
This was hilarious, you and the boys was going crazy ✊
Every part of this battle - the writing, the music, the editing, the delivery and acting - was amazing!
Haven't seen anybody take the "If I can't fight a fire with fire, I'll fight a fox with Fawkes" line into further detail, so let me (after six watches in a row) break down what I found so far:
1. "Don't fight fire with fire" is a common saying that refers to how fighting fire with fire will only make said fire grow
2. "Fighting a fox with Fawkes" is an obvious nod to the Disney imagining of Robin Hood, where Robin is depicted as a fox, and the line uses a flip on the word fox with Guy Fawkes' last name
3. Both fire and fox being back to back could be both a nod to the internet browser Firefox (which would be hilarious if true) and also a reference to a similar fox to Disney's Robin Hood, that being Fox McCloud from Star Fox, who has a move in the Smash Brothers franchise that I believe is actually called "Fire Fox"
The depth that the lines in these battles have is truly incredible, and there's probably even more to this line that I haven't gotten yet
damn, I was really hoping for your own spin on the legendary Joker vs. Guy Fawkes.
This is so fucking impressive.
the production value for these battles keep getting better and better!!
This one is definitely my new favorite, I keep finding myself coming back to it.
This feels... Like you reached the peak again. But jumped over it for several times, for our enjoyment. Although I know nothing about these two in the battle, it still felt great to listen.
This is seriously one of the most underrated UA-cam channels. This video was absolutely outstanding, cannot wait to see what you do next.
in terms of quality, this is undoubtably your best work. I've enjoyed a LOT of your battles but this one is just peak performance in every area, I had a big smile on my face the entire time.
The editing was great! The bars were written well, I kinda like the vibe of Robin Hood More, Good job!
Ok for some reason I didn’t comment on this when it came out , but I must now that I’ve been revisiting this DAILY everyday since it came out . This…this is just…probably the best rap battle that has been released to date , it left me genuinely speechless the first time I heard it , and with every new listen I kept finding new details , and it showed me see how far this channel has come, and seeing almost all of my favorite Nerdcore artists in a project of this channel , and seeing the passion going into this project…just like…DAMN, this is why this channel is my favorite in all of YT , like every creator in the FRB community , The channel puts insane amounts of passion in projects that aren’t gonna get as much clout(which is a shame )honestly this channel has been nothing but top tier ever since I stumbled upon it, Good Job Freshy,Flecks and everyone else , and thank you for putting so much effort into these products…
the moment you hear
"I'll fight a fox with Fawkes"
you know it's about to be real bussin' fr
He probably reffered it to Disney's Robin Hood (1973) 🤣🤣🤣
Dude, I can't believe you have only 139k subscribers, you deserve at least a million!
The level of quality and professionalism that goes into these rap battles marks you as criminally underrated.
Freshy Kanal has overtaken Epic Rap Battles of History in terms of quality and he is so much quicker then the two rap battles a year ERB seems to do now.
His older songs are odd but i love the recent stuff
Yeah Nice Peter has a kid now and for the most part it seems like the gang has moved on. I'm really glad the torch has been passed, because good lord is this spectacular.
As far as consistently sick flow goes Freshy Kenaul has ERB beat by a mile
@Gamingisthebest sometimes, bigger isn't always better
There's no reason to put them against each other
this is one of the best rap battles on the internet, honestly erb's stuff cant compare to this. maybe they'd have a better robin hood outfit or something at best, but everything else in this battle is just amazing., the flows, disses, music, environment/extras
annoyingly we couldn't do green on green screen as we had very limited facilities at the time... if only this was made today
As for my suggestions for battles
Giratina (Pokémon) vs Rob (The Amazing World Of Gumball) they both come from such similar worlds (the distortion world and the void) so seeing them would be really cool
Agent 47 (Hitman) vs Ayano Aishi (Yandere Simulator) I think this match up works well because they both originated from games that have very alike gameplay, where you play through a map trying to kill someone in various ways.
i can see that, itd be fun to see what they do!
It would be nice to see Pokémon in rap battles here, such as Ben 10
Dude that Giratina vs rob idea is absolutely genius
Hitman was an inspiration for Yandere Simulator which could make for some good lines, and I want to see 47 take a shot at YanDev.
@@powercore1987 With a pistol, or...
this is just incredible??? omg great job freshy and everyone!!
sinewave slept on
"If I can't fight a fire with fire, I'll fight a Fox with Fawkes" and "Are you curtsying burglars quite done with referring To how I burnt and got turned into fine dust? Wait until you learn the merk that you're serving under you heard Who could never be hurt or murdered by none got fucking murdered by nuns" gotta be the hardest lines to come from this channel
Really loving all these 3d backgrounds and costumes! The beat and rapping was also top notch
Dustin, stop raising the bar I can only go so high :(
Damn. That was so much more than I expected. Always love seeing stupendium in these rap battle projects.
That was the most entertaining rap battles I've seen in a while I even did some extra research before watching and the bars do not disappoint
2:40 is one of the best moments I have seen on Freshy Kanals channel, I don’t know why but for me it is just so good.
Yoo, this was an epic rap battle indeed! Loved seeing Shwabadi, Breeton, Dan Bull, Afro, BassedOlaf and The Stupendium on this too!
2:18 In my opinion this is the best part
Freshy, this is one of your top 10 rap battles for sure.
2:11 I freaking love that flow so much
Now that's what I call a stacked cast. You really outdid yourself with this one Freshy!
Simply incredible! Great job to everyone who worked on this!
2:05 i love how they yell "BULLSEYE!" "HE SHOT EM'!"
This is the best battle I've ever heard. I love DanBull in it too. His rap was fire but Stupendium after it made it perfect!
HOLY SHIT THIS! WOW! This is definately my new obession for the next month
!! WAY TO GO EVERYONE THIS WAS SO FIRE!!!
Yoooo this battle was spectacular. I love the several nerdcore rappers starring the minor roles. Amazing job, Dustin
i love that when Robin gets dissed, he looks shocked(1:40) but when Guy gets roasted he rolls right over it (2:18)
Also (0:49), Guy is kinda just like: "Come on, give me more"
(Even though what Robin said there reads more like a playful jab instead of a full on roast)
Why did that go so unnecessarily hard 🤣
Fricken awesome
Holy smokes that was fire from start to finish!! These battles just keep on evolving and becoming better and better every time, which is impressive seeing as they already were at a pretty high level
Oh my god this rocked. Glad I stumbled across it.
What kind of present doesn't come with a bow?
That's awesome
the most dashing assassin
This is one of the most packed rap battles I have ever had the joy of seeing
