Definitely check out Jonatan's videos, as he will teach you better practices when using Blueprints-stuff that will help you in the long term. If you want to continue with the series, you can start from episode 4: ua-cam.com/video/UHlEXmFyq4s/v-deo.html&ab_channel=JonatanIsaksson. In this video, he cleans up the project and gets into hard and soft references.
im actually using this to brainstorm how to create tools that are separate from combat fury thanks for another banger bro interesting and good video as always
Hi, I'm trying to make a charge attack with different visual effect and sound during the charge to signal the power of the blow, it's a projectile type attack. I'm using combat fury. Could you please tell me how to do it?
And additionally, when I perform an aerial finisher (still using Combat Fury), I’m having trouble consistently landing on the enemy. If you could demonstrate how to achieve this, it would be greatly appreciated. I’m just starting out, and your videos have been an immense help, thank you so much!
Great video, I was making something similar but I had a problem with a jump attack animation and I was hoping you mentioned that as the thumbnail was a jump attack when the character jumps, the legs are affected by the LegIK node and foot placement nodes making legs looks odd in air, I also don't want to lock these nodes completely; do you have any Idea how to do such thing?
i would love to implement this... but in 5.5 they made some weird thing with the Chooser Tables... and now there's no way to select Data Aseets on them!? :( Im not sure how u managed to figure it out, but since I followed your exact tut for them in 5.4 and that turn golden... I rly hope you also figured it n 5.5 :)
@jacktoobsee Threat Interactive has talked a lot about that, and it's obvious that many people agree with him. I didn't experience any bad performance when playing Stalker 2, but I also didn't enjoy the game that much. You can see gameplay footage from my podcast with Gorka Games. I've been playing a ton of Marvel Rivals, which is made in UE5, and I get around 260 FPS with no hiccups. Also, the game gets 400K players daily. (they must be doing something right) My point is, it seems most people don't care what engine a game is made in as long as the game is good. I think the bad performance issue is just due to bad developers, but I'm sure the engine isn't perfect either. Regardless, although I don't care much about the type of content Threat makes-and honestly, I think he's doing good research-I do think the result of his content is causing people who don't actually use Unreal to hate it for no reason. I see comments on his videos like, "If it's made in Unreal, I won't play it; devs should never use Unreal," which honestly is sheep behavior. I could be wrong, though. Unreal might be terrible, but I love using it, and my videos are for people who actually use Unreal.
@@Clydiie Unity visual coding sucks compared to blueprints. Things that takes weeks in unity are only days with unreal blueprints. Anyone with a deadline will use unreal engine. Black myth wukong is a great example of unreal engines power as well as the new phantom blade zero. Also, stalker games are meant to be buggy due to the community being so good at mods, so typically they will mod the game so much it will be a completely overhauled experience
@@HattoriStudios yeah dude its just a trend right now to hate on unreal at least that's what it feels like to me. I obviously love unreal so I am a bit biased on the engine. I loved black myth but it wasn't perfect in terms of optimization I still do think they did an insanely great job making a game so massive still run as good as it did tho, and cant wait for PBZ.
This is just personal opinion. I do think threat has made valid points I just feel people take his videos as a way to hate on the engine and make it seem like the engine is ruining games which I don't believe it is and i think more games in the future will prove the engine can be amazing in the right hands @jacktoobsee

i would like to ask that are you using assets and plugins for all the mechanics in your game?
Hello sir, thanks for this video, can we make custom key frame animation and add over this combat system!
I'm not sure what you mean

I would love to see you review on that pack
lol I remember this video
Bro I swear you've seen everything lol
Would something like this be easy to implement to AGLS by jakub w
i heard bad things about unreal engine 5. stalker 2 is an example of ue5 poor peformance.
